Just returned from a 5-day jaunt and had a great time. Stayed at the New Garden Inn and strongly advise it for short stays. Dickson is the nighttime security guard and an overall super nice guy. If you need help, look him up as he knows the area quite well and the chickas.

Details are as follows:

WiFi. Wifi at the hotel is not an issue at all. The problem is that you have to select the correct hotspot based on your building location. To exacerbate matters, they don't give you the WiFi code. This option gave me access to the best hotspots regardless of my location.

Building / Room: The hotel has three buildings, ask for the back building as it's more modern and quieter and yes each it has its own pool, which is super nice. I was in Room 188.

Restaurant. While I don't come to the Su for specialty cuisine. The hotel restaurant was pretty good, especially considering the price. I took the free breakfast (0800) and then ate a late lunch around 4 p which was all I needed. Out of a 5-day jaunt, I think I ate two dinners overall.

Room. The room was fine for my needs, with lots of hot water and the bed was just fine for all uses.

Amenities. While the hotel itself is a 2/3 star property overall, the location, security, pool, and free breakfast certainly kick it up a notch.
