She will probably call you a Mamajuevo(sp?) or a Tacano.
Then you can say "Mi manos es muy corto" while you lift your elbows up and wiggle your hands, hahahaha!

I was staying at Casa Marina had my breakfast there then ventured to New Garden to have coffee.I would plug my mini laptop in connect to the WIFI shoot the shit with my friends, pay for my coffee then leave.Owner there has kind of come on in attitude.Come in for a beer, breakfast, coffee or whatever just to get a chic.I think his attitude reflects why his hotel is almost always full.Lets face it people have friends everywhere staying in town meeting for breakfast @New Garden is popular meeting place. There isn't more probably because some people like the incognito thing(under the radar). For me other than sleeping and breakfast I was never there when I stayed @ New Garden.I never sat at pool ever or shoot the shit with anyone at the pool other than a friendly hello, never picked up girl there either. Some people like to sit by pool and never leave the property.I rent a car and go almost everywhere within reason.Don't be afraid to stop there even if staying somewhere else, the owner encourages it.

Posts: 219I didn't stay at NG so I didn't lounge around in their cafeteria area or pool. I did see women coming and going (some in cars). Blousey or Blousil thats her I think. She was wearing a blue dress for a few days.
Well, if a girl sits at your table while your eating how do you politely ask her to go away or not order food on your tab? I guess NG is sort of like a Blackbeards in Sosua. I curious as to why there aren't more hotels like NG in Sosua.

Well guys another chapter closes for the Sabor in Sosua! I have to say I had a really good time. I had the honor of meeting Mr. Gogo and his wingman and they took me under they'er wing. A car was rented and we went all over so the next time I go (there will be a next time!) I will definitely rent wheels. Mr. G took us to various locations and got to meet really cool people outside the Sosua city limits. I bagged a few 9/10 and must apologize to Mr.G's wingman for keeping him up for an hour or two. Not my screams either! A few things I learned this trip.
1. NG chicas should be a last resort. I banged a few there and they quickly gained confidence and started knocking on my door! One had the audacity to interupt me and Mr. G while we had a nitecap with our dates at 2am! Really ghetto stuff!
2. Alcohol consumption should start after 6pm however I did say should!
3. The place next door Terra Linda looks promising however NG will be No 1 on list.
Fellas all the info is here, RTFF! You can get oriented in 15 mins in Sosua! Besides there are always other Mongers there to provide you the info.
Many Kudos to my Bro Mr. Gogo!! Also Jaded Man who was on the premises.
Be safe!

There is no etiquette there, just hiss if you like one, and keep them AWAY from your table, they will order Coronas, and espaghetti con camarones! These are street rats, they will extract anything they can from you. Watch your telephones, iPods & cameras around the pool area, I mean it.
No need to ever pay more than RD1,000 for a quickie, especially to these New Garden Ratonas!

Posts: 10Anybody Know Any Good Daytime Pick-Up Spots
Any recomendations for good places around town where girls congregate during the daytime who are available and looking for work besides Classicos and the New Garden Hotel.
Any body had any luck at the beach during the day.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

Yes, some will approach you, but for the most part they just sit around waiting to be approached. You do not have to invite them to eat with you. If you are interested you just either go to her or motion for her to come over to where you are, chit-chat, negotiate a price, and then do the damn thang!
It also really helps if you are staying at the hotel as well. If you don't see anything you like lounging around at the time you can just go up to your room for an hour, come back out, and will now literally have a fresh new lineup to choose from :-P

I have to weigh in on you guys and your phones. Foreigners are allowed cell phone SIM cards. I have bought 3 in last year at Orange stores in Sosua. Sounds like a dork at the store. I have taken mine out country 5 times in a year with the SIM.
You can purchase phones by the street vendor for 250 pesos with minutes he walks around with them.
I don't understand why you would pay 700 pesos for Unlocking your Iphone when you can purchase a new phone for 250 pesos at Orange store by the Texaco. Iphone are probably most stolen objects in DR I have 3 friends have theirs stolen there one by knifepoint, one at stoplight first day they had it another by a girl at a Hotel.

Posts: 219I have a question about new garden. How do the girls work there? I walked by and saw some women sitting at table with guys and some by the pool. Do these girls approach you? Or do you invite them to eat with you? I saw one called Blousey or something like that. She was willing to take 1000 for a short time. I declined however. Is that the going rate at NG?
