I heard there is a lot of construction going on at ng right now. They are building 60 new rooms. Does anyone know if it's noisy?

I don't think they have the land to build 60 new rooms. Could you have misunderstood something... or can you get more information about where they are doing this?

This map was created by a fellow monger some time last year, but most of the information still up to date.

Kudos to the person who consolidated all that information into one map but the original intent has now been lost.

I started the map about 2 years ago with the intent of listing "Chica Friendly" ONLY hotels. Then somebody else expanded on it with all that other information.

Point is, we are slowly going back to addressing the same old questions about which hotels are and are-not completely chica friendly... again.

If the owner of the most recent map would filter the hotels to keep the map mongering friendly that would help people here. Else the map is not mongering specific and probably belongs on any tourist office wall.

Charles thanks for pointing that out in fact that's the second time I called Herman a german. Please don't tell him! Also Lowdown 75 you can bring 2, 3 4, girls in your room at the NG. Just had a buddy return from sosua on sat and his report was the NG has made some improvements to the restaurant and rooms. And they had a great trip with many many girls chasing the gringo $. Don't spend over 1000 (30 us) I beg you. Those guys were offering 700 during the day and girls were taking it. Thats a rough sell even for a vet but I guess things are slow there. But 1000 should be no problem.

Ten days ago, a couple of the best at the NG were accepting 500P for a daytime blowjob. I had known them for some time and never partook before but nonetheless another friend of mine and a fixture there also got that price.

I thought it would be best to stay in the town. I was thinking about staying in the plaza europa, but let me look into the new garden. Does the hotel let you bring two girls at one time? Its a fantasy of mine to have two chicas at the same time and wanted to pursue that! Did anyone ever create a map on Sosua to pin point points of interests? I saw a nice google map in the Santo Domingo forum, maybe when ever I visit Sosua I can work on something like that.

There won't be any problem with 2 girls at the New Garden, hell you can even take them directly at the New Garden Bar, there are alway's 10 of them who are hangning there until about 9 p.m.

If you go to N.G. and want to save some $, ask for a room in the old part, will cost you $55.00/U.S per day instead of $69.00 for the new part, and the rooms still above average in the old part.

If you want cheaper I have also rented at Don Antonio, June 09. THIS is a 2 stars Hotel, BUT found it's clean there is a Disco nearby and the music could be an annoyance if you are early to bed, personally stayed 2 nights there and was satisfied ( around $35.00 US tax included) They have web site, make sure to confirm price with Obie who speaks perfect english.

First thing. The town you are asking about is sosua ... You have the beach to try to kill the daytime hours (find the hut called the semi sol) spend some money on beers and a little food and get to know herman (big german guy) he will answer any question you might have and has tons of info on where to go and about many many girls.

As you corrected Lowdown's spelling of Sosúa, I am sure you won't mind my correcting your spelling of "Siempre Sol". Also Herman might be surprised to learn he is German. Maybe WWII had a different outcome in your version? He's a proud Dutchman. (Not such a big deal now we are all brothers in the European Union).

I am not saying bb sucks but its very far from most of the reasons you are coming here (I guess) and that's to screw alot of girls. Stay in sosua. Try to stay at new garden, if its full try next door or across the street. The town is fun and full of working girls. If you want take a ride out to bb's for lunch or to look around. We rented motorbikes (10 per day. You won't find that deal but maybe 15 per day) ride around the streets. Very safe and very few cars. Roads are fine, if you get good with the bike take it to BB's but only if you know what you are doing. We made it in about 45 mins. Don't pay more than 1000 (30us) on any girl. Some will say no but later will come back for it. The town is safe. No eyes of evil on you. If the girl steals its things like tooth paste. Just put things away and keep a eye on them and no problems. You will have a blast. Food is ok. Find a place you like and stick with it. If you don't get the shits. You found a good place. Buy some bottles of liq. For the room and make your drinks in your own cups and walk the main street and you can go into the bars with your drink. Hey they let us gringo's get away with stuff as long as your cool and treat everyone with respect.

I'm thinking about a trip to Sausa/POP area and was wondering if its better to try to book a place at BB or stay in the Sausa area for 3-4 days of fun? I am a newbie to the game and I have never been down that area and would like to partake in the fun activities. Is it less expensive to stay in Sausa than BB or is it pretty much the same? Any nice decent hotels in Sausa? I want to make this a memorable and safe trip.

Dr1 is reporting about people loosing 20k pesos at the Banco poplar atm machine. The machine sounded as if was dispensing cash but none came out. He then went to the internet cafe to check his balance and the 20k was with drawn. It staes he then went into the bank and got no cooperation. They wouldn't even check the atm. In short he called his bank in the states and they are investigating but it takes 90 days for answer. Heads up

It has sometimes failed to give me cash but luckily my account was never debited. It has also eaten my card on two occasions. For these reasons I now use my cards inside the bank at the teller counter (but you will need passport and maybe a second form of picture ID such as driving licence - this requirement varies according to their mood). Obviously I now need to plan ahead and draw cash during opening hours but that is cool because I prefer not to withdraw and carry large sums after dark.

Never any good trip reports here, so I thought I would send some last years pictures in, hope you all enjoy, many of these girls are well known in Puerto Plata and Sosua.

Every girl here was 2000 or a lot less or free, I usually stay at portifinos guesthouse in pp, because they know my family well and give me a great discount, plus you can bring in all the girls you want and party in the pool buckass naked after the restaurant closes. Some girls are from sosua, where I usually stay at hotel europa good hotel for mongers, however a lot and I mean a lot of mosqitotes. All these girls were in a one week period, I had many more girls just did't always have my camera with me. I keep reading on this post about freebies. Well here is my two cents. I always seem to get chicas for free, meaning as I am driving in the rain and I see a girl at the guagua stop (bus stop) I pull over and as if she would like a ride. They always say yesas we are driving and talking we always seem to hit it off. The girls in this case are free, however the date still cost MONEY like drinks, admission to places food etc. A good pickup place in pp for free girls is the Barriga discotec. I am lucky that I speak spanish, this is a must in picking up free chicas. Also all the bars in the Barriga area are good pickup bars for free chicas, however these are all local dominican bars. Do not be flashy with the cash or jewlery, just blend in and when you see a chica that you like give her the eye and send her a drink, motion her over to you and she will come. A group of girls is your best bet. In sosua just go window shopping if you like a girl that is working in a store do not hesitate to talk with her, she most likely will go out with you. Respectfully speaking but i dont understand.You speak spanish,have family there,and you are connected with the locals but your disappointed with this board.Even though its been a couple years,you have the inside track most mongers never have.Maybe you should post some picture and trip reports so we can follow your lead.
