Are the puteros located near the airport? I can remember one past trip, getting to Puerto Plata Airport for my trip home, when I was informed the flight would be 4 hours late. Me and two friends checked our luggage and then asked a taxi driver to take us to a bar. It was Sunday afternoon and the first place he took us to was a car wash in the direction of Puerto Plata. I believe that car wash was near the metal bridge that crosses a small green river. There is also a cabana on the left hand side of the road when heading towards puerto plata, I believe near that location. The Car Wash was packed, some dominican comedian and his sidekick, who was dressed as a woman, were doing a show. Mostly families and chicas with their novios.

The taxi driver then took us to another bar, which I believe, was going back in the direction of Puerto Plata airport. He parked the car on the right hand side of the road and we walked into a bar with a palm covered roof, I had to duck under the palms from the roof to get into the place. About 5 chicas, most were about a 5, maybe one 6. The chicas were friendly enough, sat with us and danced with us. They were available for take out, I can't remember the prices. We didn't have our own car and we didn't want to miss our flight, so we declined. Maybe that place was one of the puteros you mentioned.

Anyway ask a motoconcho they bring you there. When you have a map of POP you can localize the places quickly. Galactica is also on one of the 2 roads stated but more inside of POP direction south. Galactica is at the samed avenida than the puteros, ca. 400 m in the South. Ca. 300 m of Galactica is the short time hotel Tropicana, cheap for the buck. Also good for complete night. Was two years not there. Hotel built on 1992, slightly run down, quality of rooms vary. The better rooms are a bargain. Clim excellent. At that time 400 RD$ with fan, 800 RD$ with fan and clim. Cable TV with 1 porn channel. Room service of cool drinks and snacks. Security good, builder and owner of hotel is running it, very trustful person. Prices went up sharply when Leonel took over from Hipolito, maybe also because of electricity increase. Before I paid in US$ always 10. 12 US$. When Pesp tumbled less than 10. Near is also Rancho tipico with grill and musinc, dance hall. For Galactica and Tropicana ask motoconcho. For Tropicana you may ask 2 or 3 motoconchos. Than

I am involved in my son's Little League program here in the states and I save all unwanted baseball gloves and last year I brought twenty four gloves in a large suitcase and asked the chicas I was hanging with to take me to some of the poorer local neighborhoods to find some young kids to give them away to. Not to pin any badges on myself but me and the chica's are fucking heroes in that whole town I kid you not...

In Boca Chica, I used to always bring down baseball equipment (gloves, bats, balls) for the kids who lived near my hotel. They were playing baseball in the streets with sticks and cans and I thought they could use an upgrade.

Now, many of the kids have grown and I no longer frequent my favorite Boca Chica hotel. Kids are kids and they just want to have fun.

Yes, you are behind the curve. The current position is as I stated it. Don't hesitate to book in at Field of Dreams, it's well run. And I am sure Billy would be pleased to see old friends and clients if they drop into Harbor View for a chat. There is a bar there and small restaurant but if you particularly want to see Billy check he will be around first.

Billy has minimal input at Field of Dreams these days. It is running smoothly and he can take a back seat. He lives at Harbor View and manages the condos for Alberto and the various other owners.

Billy is rarely there nowadays as they have a full-time lady manager (French Canadian). He still promotes the place and I am sure would help in case of problems but hopefully these would never arise as things seem to be going a lot better since it reverted to being "Field of Dreams" under Alberto's ownership from the previous Cristal Mustang.

Agreed that that would be a nice genuine gesture and probably equally appreciated on their part but I difer with you suggested method for delivering the gesture. Something about tossing them down from the balcony just doesn't "feel" right to me.

I think a better way would be to approach the coaches or trainers and present the balls to them. Or some variation there of.

I think the problem would be that most such things are just local kids, but,
by all means, if there is a coach, that would be best.
No fighting over the ball.

1. You will not be able to take a chica back to your resort.

2. There are short-time (3 hour) motels called "cabañas" which are specially designed for sexual encounters and are usually clean and comfortable. There are several of these just outside Puerto Plata. All taxi drivers will know them.

3. If you are going on holiday mainly to have sex with chicas you would do better to stay in a monger hotel like Field of Dreams. You would save on taxis and cabaña fees.

4. I wouldn't call the prostitutes in Sosúa particularly "nice". Of course, some are, but I have found the chicas in Puerto Plata to be generally nicer and also cheaper. I rarely pay more than 1500 for TLN (all night). However Sosúa is easier for a beginner as the chicas will find you. In Puerto Plata you have to find them.

5. Are you committed to staying in a resort? Perhaps you can only get to the DR economically with a flight + hotel package? In that case you will have to go the taxi + cabaña route.

6. Where are you staying in Puerto Plata? If you are staying in Playa Dorada then I recommend you to walk across the road to Field of Dreams for a drink at the bar. You can meet chicas there and talk to other guys. Quickest way to learn about mongering in the DR.

I just got back from staying at FOD for 5 days and highly recommend the place and will write a detailed report in a few days after I recover.

I think you would be doing a newbie an injustice by recommending FOD though as there are very few chica's there. Alberto said there will be more soon but I can tell you last week there were never more than five at any one time and they aren't there very late.

It is a great place to stay if you are "bringing your own sand to the beach" or have access to "sand" if needed. I had two chica's meet me there because I didn't know who or what would be available there and I am very glad I did.Most of the other dudes there did the same.

as I said I will report in detail shortly. I talked to Alberto quite a bit while there and have a good idea as to the direction of the resort.

I like the ball idea better as I could bring a dozen balls in the one suitcase I usually bring but I must say when you hand a glove in pretty good condition to a ten year old dominican kid that will probably otherwise never have one and see the look in his eyes is priceless.

i feel aw on this one. a deal is a deal is a deal. he followed his part of the agreement to the letter. too many chicks will try to ride the wave like that one did and weasel more money out of a monger because they took it upon themselves to stay the whole night without hammering out a new agreement. i am quite sure that had he touched her that morning she would have said old deal void. you owe me 3000 pesos buddy. but as he was being a wise monger and thinking with the big head, he was able to peep her game and thwart the okee doke move. as far as i'm concerned aw should have charged her for putting her up for the night. i'm willing to bet that she now respects him and doesn't see him how most sosua putas see visiting mongers. as suckers.

some of those chicas when they find a decent guy it is so hard to get rid of them, nice clean living arrangements, clean bathroom etc. many times trying to be gentlemanly and not just throw them out, i have to remind them i had things to do and it is now time to leave.

I took a stroll to the field the last time I was there just killing some time and was amazed at just how much talent these kids have. The uniforms didn't match, the field was a little better then a sandlot and the equipment was inferior.

But MAN O MAN ... these kids could play.

And they play in that heat. Fun to watch them argue sometimes.

As a contrast program, nobody stated it yet, near the puerto there are 3 local puteros, El Consulado, El Deseo and El Placer, the letter is the slightly better place. Very typical Dominican hangout, with heavy beer drinking, not so good looking chicas, mostly are fat (from the beer), sometime some gems (the new ones). At my time 200 RD$ salida and 500 RD$ por un rato 30 min.. 1 hour. Advantage of good clim. Another hangout is Galactica with very very beautiful young chicas, lots of 8, 9 and 10. Caracter of girls mainly difficult (esp. The 10s) but some good minded girls. 2000. 2500 RD$ TLN at that time. Try to get 3000. 3500. Show, bikini girls etc. Depending the day, cheap beers. Also good to go with friends to drink and look around. It is like a candy shop, they look so sweet. Maybe you will be happy with one of the lookers. But cuidado. High greed factor and bad service.

If you want to do something nice while staying at the New Garden...

There is a baseball field behind the back balconies of the New Garden Hotel. There are usually 2 or three games going on at the same time and you never see a white baseball...I'm sure these guys are so poor that they use them until they literally knock the covers off of them.

Spend a few dollars and bring some new balls from home and join me in tossing a few new balls off the balcony to the guys and surely put a smile on their faces and one on yours too.

This is Chilimikes idea and I'm sure he'll be bringing a half a dozen the next time he goes to Sosua
