It all depends on what you want. Europa is in the center of alot of activity. Girls, bars, outdoor late night food other mongers. Europa has good security, big beds and is cleann. Room size is very adequate. They also exchange money and do laundry, and the restaurant is pretty good. New Garden is more laid back. Didn't like the double beds in old wing. Haven't stayed new wing but hear good things. Food was subpar but Wilfried is great. Jihad at Seabreeze is cool, and he will cut you a deal. Close to massage parlors, banks, and beach. Security let girl I ditch at the club knock on my door at 3am. Jihad and security pay to much attention to who and when you fucking. Europa and NewGarden don't care about who you fucking. Had to go to war with a big black spider at Seabreeze. Tore the whole room up trying to kill that spider. Luckily I got him before he got me. Europa (1)New Garden (2)Seabreeze (3) I also here casa valeria is laid back. I know a couple guys who live in Puerto Plata with their girls who sneak to Sosua, and they like seabreeze becauseb uts kind of hidden.

Flight from mia-pop went all the way there yesterday but the airport was closed. Was hoping we would go to Santigo but american had us circle for an hour then sent us back to mia. No hotel, no per diem, nada but did schedule us for next day. With all the bad weather said fuck it and came home. Also the flight out of pop yesterday was cancelled. Can any one on the ground tell me what I missed. Is Sosua a wash for this weekend?

Great meeting you Sir GoGo it seemed like we would've had a blast! Sosua was not a wash, but being my first time had something to do with my opinion.

I took the 8:50 flight to sdq. I planned on getting into some mischief in sd, but as the plane was getting ready to pull out of the airport the far didn't have the custom papers so she opened the hatch to get them and the raft dislodged. They couldn't fix it so we had to wait for a new plane. This would be the third of the numerous "fuck's" that I would scream to myself over the next 16 hours or so!

Finally left a little after midnight and arrived at sdq around 3 a.m. Now what? Caught a taxi to the Jaragua Casino and figured I would waste a few hours gambling before catching the bus to Sosua. Met a nice chica in the casino but she was getting off until 7 a.m. She wanted to hang out on her day off(Sunday). Got her number, but I knew I was going to fake. Maybe I'll check her out tonight.

Back to the adventure...., so I board Caribe Tours to Sosua at 6 a.m. and I am beginning to relax and get excited about Sosua all at the same time. It took about 2+ hours just to get to Santiago, but it is cool. I already chalked up the lost day, so I'm feeling good now! I texted my US chica to let her know that I am ok and on my way to Caberete(didn't want her to know about Sosua). I freaking kid you not that soon as I press send the blows on the damn bus! Fcuk! Long story short I then find out I should've switched buses in Santiago! Two hours in the wrong direction and stuck on the side of a road in the middle of the countryside! If it was happening to me I would not believe it! Fcuk! Mind you my Spanish is very limited and some of those bastards took delight in my misfortune. Man if I weren't so macho I would have shed a tear!

Took two hours to catch a guagua going to Santiago and then two more hours to get back there. Once I got near Santiago my spirits lifted. On the bus to Sosua finally and I watched Wanted on my phone so it is all good now. I arrived around 5 p.m. from my 11 hour bus ride, but once I dropped my bags in my room at NG I was on top of the world.

The new wing at NG was nice and I really liked the bathroom... No tub, but I take mostly showers anyway. I was in #40 on the third floor corner. I had a shot of Patron and took a walk around Sosua. I made a couple of phone calls from the Internet cafe and got some pesos. I ate at pj's because I was starving and just needed something in my belly. The tall waitress there is cute and I thought I was getting some rhythm until this puta named Diane just rolled up on me from behind, kissed me on the cheek and sat down. I was still pleasant and even bought her a beer, but then her friend came over and sat down and I got gangsta on them bitches and basically told them to let me enjoy my meal!

After dinner, I walked to the beach and had about a fifteen minute Zen moment and then walked the length of the beach, around to the supermarket and caught a motoconcho back to NG. I took a good nap and headed over to Passions. It was a good assortment there, but the premium chicas had changed clothes for the night and seemed to be done. I snatched up Flo for a soapy but she basically attacked me so I quickly upgraded to full service! LOL!

The service was good. Very much a gfe with too much kissing and hugging, but it left a little to be desired...hard to explain. No rush at all...I had to tell her I was ready to go! I got back to the room and shaved, showered, and got fresh for the night. I was not prepared for what I was about to see. DAAYYUUMM!

Interesting comment about Freddy's. It's the first I've heard of it. I'm familiar with the Cuba Libre down the street from LP's where the owner's first name is Fred. Is it possible it's the same joint with a name change? Either way I'll check it out in a few days.

Funny you should mention that Ehunter as I am from SF but have since relocated to the Pacific Northwest. My March trip is already booked. I wish I had known about the SF>Atlanta> POP option before. That is a great deal with the flight time and price.

Yea and the unique part about the flight, unlike all the other airlines, is your not forced to spend the night in a hotel on the return trip back. I am leaving in just a few days.

Thanks for the feedback on my report. It's good to be able to return the information favors I've gotten from this site.

RE my location. It takes hours for me to get to SF, and then the parking is a nightmare. So I travel out of Sacramento. That usually results in three hops to anywhere in Central or South America. A real drag, but once I get there it is always worth it!

Santiago seems to me to be a great place to do serious tourist stuff, like climbing in the mountains, etc. It didn't seem like a big city to me. With over 500, 000, it actually seemed like a bunch of really small towns that all happened to be right next to each other.

The people were very friendly, but as I said, the atmosphere was like a small town. People just won't jeopardize their reputations in a small town, and that's what it felt like.

I thought the name of the small bar was Freddy's, but for sure the owner's name is Fred. He is a retired guy from Southern CA living out my fantasy! The women at his place are for take out. I found the place on my last night in Sosua. I would definitely have tried at least one of the women if I had more time there.

If I go back to the DR, I will be trying the south coast and Santo Domingo, just because I like to get a good feel for a country. But if I had only a week in the DR, and was interested in doing the maximum amount of mongering, Sosua is the place I would go.

I took a short trip to the DR to start out 2009. I spent 3 nights in Santiago and 5 nights in Sosua. Santiago was a complete bust for me – I stayed in a nice hotel, but could not get any action whatsoever. The doorman at the hotel said he could fix me up for a minimum of $100 sight unseen. I also got an offer from a cabbie (for his cousin? ! ) at $100 plus, also sight unseen. I don’t do the sight unseen routine any more, and for some reason, paying $100 just didn’t feel right in a country where an excellent salary is $800/month, so I declined both offers. On the streets, people were very friendly, but not a single woman gave me so much as a flirt, which was kind of depressing. I spoke to several expats in town and they told me once you get past a certain point, you can do all right in Santiago, but I never got any traction. I don’t frequent the late night bars, so I can’t speak to that scene.

I have met a few chicas online who live in Santiago. I am not crazy about the attitudes of the chicas in Santiago, most seem kind of flaky, maybe a little cold. They really seem to be about the money there, for chicas like that I can stay in the states (sex prison). I will probably do one night in Santiago next week and see how it goes. Other mongers have done well with Santiago chicas. I met one cute thick big titty chica who lives in Santiago who says she will travel to Santo Domingo to meet me with her friend, I guess she is expecting I will pay for a hotel room for her. Great report Travel Fun. Just curious, whereabouts on the West coast are you from as I am also from/live on the west coast. The flight(s) getting to the DR is definitely a killer.

I know it was not me you asked but it does take time to figure the best flight options. Out of San Francisco, it seems the best combo to minimize the travel agony is to take Delta to Atlanta continuing to POP. Start to end travel totals 13.5 hours going, then 11.5 returning. Wallet damage including taxes is $522. You have to be flexible to choose the travel days too to get that price else it starts inching up on you.

My first trip to Sosua. I spent about a week at Don Antonio’s in November 2008 around election time. Had a real good time and I can't wait to go back. Also learned a lot of things as time went on, like where classico’s was and thanks to a well seasoned monger I was able to observe the whole process of sitting at the bar at latinos bar, the girls walk around, the classico’s opening, and the transition that happens when classico’s closes and everyone who is still at the club looks for an alternative club to hop to (when I was there it was X club though I have heard of a place called after one being the spot for quite sometime). Its truly something you have to see for yourself, all the posts and reports on the site couldn’t possibly explain the experience.

On my first day I arrived with an uncle of mine, we were driving around trying to find the hotel and had got lost in the area. I had a print out of the sosua area that I got from the ISG site but we were still driving in circles around the hotel. We asked for directions and managed to get there, there were two girls who happened to have been watching us (this is a part of the magic that occurs in sosua), they joke with us about how they had seen us lost and driving in circles for about 10 to 20 minutes. So small chit chat, I drop off my bags and the 4 of us head to el flow. El Flow from what I learned is the place where they sell the cheapest beer, when your on the strip after a certain time you’ll notice a LARGEEE amount of traffic in front of that particular spot, the strip itself gets pretty crowded but el flow always has the heaviest traffic. We sat and drank maybe two beers, I was in a rush because I felt very unsafe carrying the amount of money I had on my person in US currency.

We took the girls back, me and my uncle actually took turns in using the room. No negotiating was done by me, I Came to find out later my uncle had negotiated 1000 a piece for each girl. I being new and my uncle being clueless, got upset that he negotiated such a deal and we had agreed we’d give each girl 500 pesos instead. This was after we had both had our quick runs with the two girls, they were upset. Well mine was not making much of a show though she was upset, the other girl was more vocal about it. I Agreed to give them both another 250 pesos, after this the girl who was being vocal decided to just accept it as a loss. They each took the 750 and left.

Afterwards it was a little slow, I didn’t really know what to say to get chicas attention and I felt alone on the scene. I had read on this site and another that there are often guys who help you out, you tell them what your looking for and they work out a deal for you. I figured I would give this a shot, and I met up with a Haitian guy near the strip, I asked him if he could find me a girl with HUMUNGEOUS tits and who liked to suck dick. This is literally what I told him though I don’t know how much he could understand aside from the hand motions I expressed to him to show I wanted a girl with big tits. We walked around the block towards rocky’s and made two lefts til we were back on the strip, as we walk by latino’s we come across a potential winner. The girl was what I was looking for so I agreed on this one, and after we were halfway to my place I told my negotiator his services were no longer needed since I spoke Spanish I worked out the rest myself. Later I came to find out this girl is the same girl I had admired in one of MisterBooblover’s posts, Venecia. For me a perfect diamond in the rough, Negotiation was something I was nervous about as I had only read about it in posts and never actually done any. My first offer was $1000 pesos, she was quickly offended. She said that 1000 pesos wasn’t really anything, I asked her what was more a suitable rate. I forgot what she had said but my next jump was to 2000 pesos and this worked out easily. I say I forgot what she said because I was staring at her breasts the entire time.

So she undressed, we did the deed and I paid her the 2000, and I tipped her another 200 or 300 afterwards. She left me with her phone number and a few tips.

I’ll summarize the rest of my experiences in shorter detail from now on.

1. A phone is important. Why? You can arrange daytime sessions that span the entire day. There are girls available for all day ranging up to 3000 pesos. I had a session from 2 til 8pm for that much. I know the guy who I met on my trip who ended up being my partner in crime for the remainder of my trip happened to get deals where he’d only pay a girl 500 or 1000 pesos and have her for an entire day or two. You can also make appointments with your phone, set up dates for the future.

2. Disregard all the rules of dating you ever believed in when you’re at this place. You go to classico’s just one or two times and you find out real quickly that this is nothing like back home. The girls are walking around the room checking out the guys, the finest female in the room is available for you if you are willing to pursue, a proposal denied now can become a proposal accepted later, etc. A girl wanted 3000 for ST and I made up some shit about how I couldn’t or didn’t want to tonight. Next night I was offered the same deal for 1500 and she approached me at the bar, I had not even noticed she was around until she pulled up next to me and my wingman. I bought her a Corona and we left.

3. Prioritize. If you don’t have money to spend on activities other than the beautiful women then do not partake in it. I had the unfortunate luck of being new and wanting to be nice to everyone, tipping, buying products I shouldn’t be buying, etc. Its not worth it and at the end I found out that the people selling sell at inflated prices, its a lot more sympathetic to your wallet and dick to just say No or as someone I met would say "Sorry I can't I’m on a mission from god" those persistent vendors. There are lots of ways to save a few bucks in Sosua when it comes to food and managing at the bar, I drank a whole lot of juice at the bar. Rocky’s has great food, especially breakfast and its cheap. Just little things to get the most out of your buck. My prioritize was my night money, chica money, orange card money, food money. I learned real late in the game that Blue bills are not cool. Next trip I will only walk around with bills of 1000 and less.

4. Don’t get down about a girl you didn’t take home tonight. You’ll quickly find out that a girl you didn’t take home tonight would and could still be available tomorrow night or another night. Also girls who are not working the street and are working either bars, at the hotel as housekeepers, etc. Are all girls that had be had as well. Its just a matter of talking to them.

5. My grandmother is in the hospital or needs this medicine ASAP. You’ll quickly find out that almost every girl you meet has this same grandmother who’s in the hospital or one who is very closely related. Don’t buy it.

Through the course of my trip I ended up bumping into the girl my uncle had the first night, though it wasn’t on purpose. I was on the balcony of my room, she was walking down the street and I was just looking down at the girls. She happened to look up and in Spanish yelled out "how about me? " and I just nodded yes and she came up. When she came up I noticed it was her and we wasted no time in getting busy. I was a little sour before that on my first night I let my uncle have the big titty one. I ended up seeing her another 2 or 3 times before I got tired of her and just didn’t budge for sex next time she came to my room. I did this because I had started running low on cash due to the stupid choices I made early in my trip.

I had a massage that ended with a happy ending for 1800, I already know I overpaid because of the look on her face when I gave her the money. She stood there with her mouth wide open, which I found very weird. So weird I tipped her 300 pesos and told myself, that’s the best massage I’ve ever had and it had a happy ended, well worth it. I thought I was underpaying, I was so confused leaving that place but as happy as a man can be after blowing his load in a busty girls mouth and fondling breasts for a good half hour. A massage was only 800 pesos for an hour so basically I Paid 1000 for a bbj. I’ll work on negotiating next time.

I had got a tip from a girl I was with who told me that because I was 1. Dominican, 2. In my mid 20’s that I was not what the girls were really looking for. A lot of girls have bad experiences with the younger guys because they don’t pay or just other problems. I tried to be as easy going as possible after I got this information. I didn’t really need to do much though because I ended up buddying up with a fellow NY’er who was irish and was kind of well known there. I just rolled with him for the rest of my trip and my results improved drastically. I'm not sure if this is because he was white or a regular or if having a wingman increases results so much, but as time went on I got a lot more attention from the ladies there. On my next trip I’m making it a personal goal to take home of one of the bartenders from Latino’s bar and club. The girls at the irish pub look tempting too, the ones during the day shift but I'm not much of a drinker so I didn’t really stop there for too long. But to make a long story short Sosua is the greatest place on earth.

If you’re a newbie you should go with a veteran or meet with someone who has experience, the path they’ll walk you through is one you should walk with the guidance of one who knows the way until you can create your own. I never felt unsafe except when I first got there and was paranoid about my money. Once I had my money in the safe and my passport picture copy in pocket I did not feel threatened or unsafe, I actually felt the exact opposite. It was a great experience I can’t wait to go again.

I agree, great report, Travel fun.....I've made about 5 trips to Sosua and you have to make your fun and always be ready to accept the highs and lows of the Sosua landscape.

If you go back, I have found that daytime fun with the chicas is more available in the 1000-1500 Peso range but you have to get the phone nums the night before to contact the ladies during the day....they are not out trolling too much then.

Alot of girls need the surplus.Also you can get to know them away from the club scene.Also appreciate the report we have sort of gotten away from good reporting lately.Present company included.
