Some ISG vets and me always got a kick out of guys asking over and over again if the Country they are interested in has a place like the former Help in Rio.

Well from the limited reports I have seen about Ahnvee it would appear that this new joint may have a taste of Help in it.

I guess I'll ask a few dumb questions. Is it ok to visit without being a hotel guest? Is there a takeout fee?

I plan on staying at New Garden per Mr. Slick { Go Go}. It is close by and the word is they have a great breakfast included into the room rate.

I'm a funny type of guy. I see a lot of Sosua Vets looking to go to Colombia instead of the DR. That is fine with me as I have had my fill of Colombia and I like to swim against the tide so I'm going to give Sosua another try. It has been about 11 years since my last visit there. Of course a TR will follow if I pull the trigger. The main thing that is holding me back is there are no flights to Sosua. My airline arrives in Santiago at 2 AM and leaves for FLL at 3 AM. I know it may be a small thing for some but I like to have better air times than that. Yes I know from Miami the times are better but my home city only goes to FLL.

Bumped into Charina today walking around. I had visited with her once before. She is about 5 ft tall. Very petite. Super firm ass. Smaller tits with good nipples. She is Dominican and her hair is currently colored fuchsia (straight and long). So, she is easy to spot with that hair. She is visiting again from SD. I highly recommend her. You can find her at Ahnvee probably most any night. She will be here at least a week she said. She has a very nice chill vibe. Gives me BBBJ. I didn't try to negotiate down from the previous 2,500 peso agreement.

Diimes tend to want mucho denero. I find attractive girls who are happy some one got them out of the club and they show their gratefullness in bed. I Have been going to the sue for 8 years so I know what it use to be. I have made the adjustment to the new setup and I like it.

Just wanted to chime in on the new look of Sosua. Been going for years and the change I belive at this point is permanant. I am waiting to see what the new area contruction will bring. I don't like Ahnvee period. It's like being locked in corral like animals with a bunch of folks you don't really want to sit with. My date and I were sitting at the pool bar and guys come and plop their asses down on the bar to sit. Same with the tables near the kitchen. To damn lazy and disrespectful to pull up a chair. Sat right on the edge of the table. Not to mention to knuckleheads throwing up money and making it rain. Who still does that? Over the Superbowl it was packed and good a time was had by all. When the slow season hits it will be ugly, although the action will still be there. The beach is the new walking area in the daytime after that you have to wait until late night to go to Ahnvee. The new contruction and resorts are a fact and in full swing. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the new area will produce daytime bars and action and a sidewalk for the honey's to stroll. In the meantime I am cruising the streets hitting the little local bars. Let the newby's have Ahnvee and bring back my old Sosua.

Unexpectedly I found myself in the Sue. I walk from the bus station to my apartment and it was a sad sight. A few Haitians lurking in the dark or walking like Deers from corner to corner.

There were about 9 to 11 guys posted up at Rumbas looking out toward a empty street. I guess old habits are hard to kill. Kind of feel sorry for the guys. Remind me of an elephant refusing to leave the side of her baby hoping she would get up from off the ground, however it's obvious it's dead. Nothing your waiting will do because it's dead.

Ran into my man Angelo and he reminded me the action was further down closer to the club now. I did not know how far down it was but besides a very little beach action there wasn't much of any action. Kool, I have WhatsApp drought no problem for me. I have a little catching up to do with my regular anyway. 1500 exit fee.

Later We walked toward Ahnvee about 12:30 AM. The motor Scooter guys quickly jumped out. We were in front of city lights. I asked how much to go to the club and they said 100 pesos. I looked at him as if he was stupid. My friend who had already jumped on the motor scooter before asking how much, jumped off followed my lead.

I've never been to the club but I know it's not passed the casino. I Only pay 50 pesos to go to the casino. I know we are only talking a dollar but I'm in Dominican mode. Had we not asked they would have charged us 200 pesos as we found out a few guys were charged.

Anyway we told them No and took about 20 steps before a group of chicks driving a car was asking us to come on and get a ride. We hopped in the car with them and it was about a minute or 2 ride from Europa.

I would have been Gringo hustled had I gave 200 pesos or even 100 pesos for a 5 peso ride. I don't even complain when a Dominican tries to hustle me I just don't give them my business.

There was a line of chica waiting to get in and a separate line for men. Security was checking for alcohol.

Inside the club I saw Haitians and Dominicans. I have to respect the fact that they seem to welcome everyone for the most part. I mean I saw some Haitians that were too Haitian for Classico.

The place was very crowded and I like the outside vibe. It wasn't a club atmosphere. It was more like a meeting area with plenty room to move around. It was not crowded and people were relaxed. A lot of black and white guys and a bit of Dominicanos.

The DJ sucked and there was no area where I seen people dancing. The drinks were reasonably priced. The area was a nice open air chill spot. It wasn't until later on Friday night that they open the club part.

The club part was an upstairs area on the third floor. It was everything Classico was. As a matter of fact you can call it little Classico. At about 2 o'clock the place felt like Classico. I seen Chica ranges from 2 to 8. Not many 9's.

I love the fact that you can go downstairs chill and get out of the pack club scene. The place is equipped to accommodate almost the whole block.

I was saying to myself if I was new on vacation, I would make this work for me. Or if I love the club scene I couldn't complain with the new changes. However, I've been coming to the Sue too long and I'm used to cake with icing and a cherry on top. This place is just a poundcake and the quality of chicas did not impress me.

I was in the Sue for two days and only got with my PP regular. Both nights we left the club empty-handed. My boy Jay did pull one as we were walking away from the club for 1500 pesos. I did get offers but I did not take them up. I hadn't even got a quote on a price. I was impressed with the layout and unimpressed with the selections. I think I witness more dimes in Classico.

Yesterday was election day. If the changes stay permanent in the Sue the Sue will survive and always be a place to go and meet Chicas. For a lot of us veterans it's not the organize noise that we fell in love with in the past. That's a hard pill to swallow however it's a pill you must swallow once you get here.

I can help you if you want. Just let me know. I can walk over to Europa or meet at a bar Monday or Tuesday to talk strategy. Maybe save you a mistake or two I've made. I prefer to meet early for say some tacos and a drink. In the 5-6 pm range. And then hunt later in the evening.

I'm settling in now, was going to grab shower, dinner and a drink in a bit. If its getting to late tonight, tomorrow would be good. I E been up since 1 am local time traveling. So a little worn out tonight anyway!

Bars (alcohol) closed for 2 days, re-open Monday, maybe.

Already one dead in SD and voting machines are having technical problems. Don't recall this much fooferaw inpast elections.

Because that is the day everybody is off work and can go vote. In our country it is the opposite and everybody complains about the polls closing before they can get a chance to get there from work.

Hope you don't fall into this election weekend that's got the country churned up. Bars here are closed, Pedro is dead! Alcohol is banned except for the A. I. s (some favored bars serve beer in the back in paper cups and an empty coke bottle on the side! Fools nobody but "keeps up appearances" for the cops!

My restaurant business contacts say it's because if the elections don't go the right way for some, the natives can get very restless! LOL.

I left the Sue yesterday. I was told to hurry up and get alcohol because all the places will be closed due to the election on Sunday. Once I arrived in Boca Chica took a break and later that night decided to hit the block. It was about 1201 midnight. I hadn't seen a block so empty since I was in Cuba The same week Fidel past.
