I'm going to break down the state of Sosua when I get time. The game is no longer in Sosua. Wassap and the "Villa Boys" have stolen all the quality out of Sosua. And an OG said the Sosua pussy no longer has culture. More later.

I was sitting on the malecon drinking a presidente light before I went up to pack and get ready for our road trip to Sosua and Cabarette at 7 am in the morning. Oh shit, the fellas pulled out a bottle of Johnny walker so now our 7 am departure is jeopardized. I played it safe and went to my room to pack and watch Dolemite on my android TV box kodi.

At 6 am the crew was up and getting ready and we departed at 7:36 am (what a surprise). Well the surprise was on us as it took us 45 minutes to finally maneuver the SD traffic and hit the open road. The trip was uneventful except the Santiago bypass gave us some problems.

Checked in my hotel (more on the hotel when I leave). Went to the treehouse on the beach and greeted Sherman. At 1 pm the parade started and I had a hamburger, two waters and a pinacolada sin alcohol for 524 pesos.

I finally took a tour of the town to confirm what I saw. Damn Sosua is full of fat girls and even fatter dudes. Dudes outnumbered the girls. I saw crackhead, pregnant girls and one girl even had a cast on her left leg. Ask a girl her name and she showed you her ass first. I kid you not. I must have seen 100 girls and only five girls above a 7. What the fuck happened to Sosua?

OK this is the day crew and it is the third string so hopefully Sosua will shine tonight.

BTW, the jazz festival is Friday night at 8 pm at playa Alicia. Saturday and Sunday in cabarette.

You have already hit on, what in my opinion, is the key to success with Sosua chicas. "have a beer, chat to girl, ascertain chemistry and attitude etc. ".

Some mongers limit their initial interaction with a chica, to negotiations on price. But for the price of a drink, or a slice of pizza, you can interview her in depth. That's actually for me part of the fun. She's a freelance so you don't pay for her time.

You can get a good feel for her attitude, is she in a god awful hurry? Always looking at her phone? Does she order a Hennessy? Personal hygiene?. If the chemistry doesn't seem right you can move on to the next, There's always a next!

Taking a strange third world hooker back to your room, always has a little risk attached, but a well traveled guy, who takes a little time, can reduce those risks mightily!

Glad to know I'll have plenty to choose from. CTG in 2005 was good, Cuba in 2000's, even Costa Rica evening time in Gringo Gulch was good. This sounds like it is up there with those highlights.

I just came back on 10/6 from a 12 day trip. I didn't pay over 2500 pesos. Had good sessions. Yes, many chicas will now ask for 100 $. But plenty will take 2500. You've been doing Medellin, you must speak some Spanish. Make some small talk, tell her what you want and how much YOU pay. If she asks for more tell her no gracias mucho gusto and walk away. Sosua isn't Medellin, but it's a good time.

Small town, you can walk everywhere, nice beach. Plenty of other travelers to hang with. Worth a visit in my opinion. Peace!

The Size of Sosua and what it is seems more fitting for a weekend getaway. Medellin is more my Nuremberg-track at this point. I like the variety of venues and options.

This is apples to alligators. Medellin is a big ass city. Tons of place for mongering. The part of Sosua where you will find chicks does not even have a traffic light and it is full of foreigners that came there for the same purpose. When you think of Sosua think of a small beach area and a quiet (compared to Medellin anyway) one way street with a couple of bars and restaurants.

Facebook is a thing unique to Medellin. It does not even work the same in other parts of Colombia.

The prices in Sosua have gotten out of control. You would be looking at $100 at least for all night when it is easy to find in Medellin for $30-$50.

There are plenty of girl friendly hotels in the mongering vicinty that people stay in where you can walk everywhere. I think most airbnbs are outside of this area and you would need transportation back and forth.

I have done back door action with a couple of non-pro chicks in DR. For hookers, I would say you better get some practice looking for needles in haystacks. As well, chicks in Sosua are known for promising one thing before going to the room with you, then when you get to the room it is a totally different story..

I have a week end of Jan I was thinking maybe 2 or 3 days SD, then the rest in Sosua.

I like the street scene, brothels, (or massage places etc).

Any tips for hotels near the action, in SD Hotel Riazor has been mentioned, but it seems a bit isolated when I checked streetview. Where should I stay Sosua?

Also in SD is the old colonial part of town the best location for the street chica's? Is there an equivalent of La Rampa in Havana, or maybe like Hotel Del Ray in CR, ie a central place where the girls gather?

In Sosua Is there significant weeknight action. I'm guessing weekends are busy, but what is Monday and Tuesday like for street chicas and the scene. Its a first time visit for me to DR, but given I have so little time don't want to waste a night....

Is the beach still a good scene weekdays? Could I hang there and pick and choose? Plenty of choice?

Looking through the posts is seems the there has been a general clean up by authorities and the girls in Sosua have been chased off the streets and maybe off the beach as well. Is that the case???

January is a good time to monger in Sosua. We have a lot of North Americans, Canadians and Europeans here fleeing their winters. Most are return visitors and regulars.

You'll lots find lots of willing chicas year round here, but the main show starts in October, with peaks before Christmas and around Superbowl time. There are literally hundreds of chicas looking for a hook up, ranging from hardened old hookers to fresh young newbies.

The main zone is only a small strip, so they fill the streets and bars at night, and on weekends it's hard to navigate the sidewalks. You'll find some patrolling the main beach during the afternoons. There are lots of bars off the strip too, but most mongers love to post up on the main drag and watch the show!

The cops generally look out for well behaved tourists, and sporadically clear the streets of hookers, but in 15 minutes it's usually back to normal.

The thing about Sosua is that prostitution is legal, and there are no mamasans, pimps or bar fines to negotiate. No third floor walk ups, where you take your chances with who might be available. You don't need a social dating app to find them. The chicas are around in numbers so you can see them up close and personal, and chat with them.

Your only problem is who to choose, a cheap hungry hardcore one who stops you on the street and shows you her stuff, to the more reserved, and less experienced ones sitting in the bar with her girlfriends. Accordingly the prices vary, as does their level of aggressiveness. We all like something different. Aside from their attempts to upsell you, it is a relatively safe environment, but don't carry or leave anything around in your room, that you can't afford to lose! They are poor, and opportunistic, and to them you are rich!

The favorite GF friendly hotels are all in or near the main drag, Sosua Suites, Europa, New Garden, Terra Linda and Casa Valeria, and others that are mentioned in the Hotel Forum, which range in price from 50 to 90 a night.

As for SD vs Sosua, SD is a big city with lots of other stuff going on, Sosua is a small party town with nice beaches and restaurants and lots of chicas, all within a 10 minute walk.

The SW action in Sosua is not the same as the SW action in Medellin. Medellin is more of what people think of when they think SW. Where in most cities guys say I am not messing with any nasty SW, guys go to Sosua specifically for that "style" of SW.

Been Posting on the Medellin Thread for a while now. Just came back from there actually, had a great great solo trip as a young looking Asian guy in Medellin, have had great success. Anyone curious, please read my reports there.

Since I managed to Solo Medellin with minimal but an expanding collection of Spanish, I am thinking about other Latin or Spanish speaking countries for my dick to explore, in dept. I have a few questions with regards to what tickles my fancy.

1. Are there Facebook Hoes in the DR similar to how they have in Medellin or Colombia in general?

2. What is the going Gringo-Rate for Todas Las Noches?

3. Is it easy to find a chica friendly AirbNb or how do the motels work here?

4. Optional, I learned not to chase this outside Brazil, but how hard is it to score some anal here?

I don't think Sosua, being its size, will match up to much of the action per capita in Medellin but there are too many Pollocita / Mamacitas / Chimbitas (IDK wtf to use to call Hot women in Spanish anymore in the DR for me to look over this place.

I have no issues Solo'ing venues like El Centro in Medellin for SW's, I can't imagine having much additional trouble if I was to hit the DR for similar action unless any one want to debunk this misconception if I am making one.

Loads of Russians, Swedes, Belgians. Swiss, Austrians and French too. But very few new faces from the UK, I'm afraid. Partly because of the falling pound sterling through Brexit, but mainly because it is hopelessly inconvenient and expensive to get here from the UK. (Apart from to Punta Cana, which is mediocre for mongering).

Yeah I was considering a trip here but the logistics of flying from my city, Newcastle, was a total nightmare and very expensive.
