Yep, to each his own. I am sure there are better places, but I have a great time each visit. I like the variety of girls. I have posted before, if it were a shorter flight, I would go there even without the girls. I like the bars, restaurants, and beaches right in walking distance. But, OK, I am really going for the girls. I wish people would just post information instead of trying to convince someone they shouldn't like this place, an older girl, skinny girl, etc.

I hope you are being sarcastic. I've enjoyed several trips to Sosua with friends but it's not a place I would travel to alone or for only the girls. There are much much better places for that. Sosua is okay for a short vacation with friends hanging out on the beach and hitting the bars and clubs at night. It's closeness to the US and it's beach are it's best qualities. I took advantage of being off for memorial day and vacationing in Sosua. Many guys on the ground did like wise. The was had issues early in the week. The quantity was fine bt the quality was not good. On the weekend things took a very positive turn for the better.

Taking a trip from Santiago to the Su. Damn after Puerto Plata I'm the only one on the bus. It's just me and the drive for metro. I wonder if that's a sign of Chica activity. Don't matter to me I rarely get a chance to try something new when I'm there. Hopefully I can support a new single mom.

Had a nice trip. Four days in Sosua is always wonderful. Only negative for me is I know dam near all the regular girls. They pester for food drinks and other things. Gets old real quick combined with the other hustlers can be a issue. I only had one bad experience and it was so my fault. I have gotten so cocckey that I failed to set the price upfront. The chica jacked me for 3 k pesos for short term. She gave all the warning signs and I ignored them. On the good side MY GOAT, greatest of all time blow job queen has retired and has a job in Caberreti. Never the less she came to see me. Normally I just let her do the BJ and send her home. This time I laid her back and road her rough. She moaned and squealed and got my bed wet. An awesome session that she said she would not to forget. Anything in life you practice you get better at. My body got use to fucking so I could hold positions better and longer. I noticed with the girls in my rolodex the sex went to a higher level. I am 60 plus now but was stroking like a porn star.

The food on this trip was not consistent. I did Sinatras for breakfast and dinner several times and was not pleased as in the past. Bourbon street has a great breakfast that was consistently freash and good. Baileys pizza still number one in my book. The German place next to Bourbon street gave me the worst burger I have ever had. Thursday through Sunday Sosua rocks big time. Very hard to beat any where in the world.

Spent 4 days in sosua. Weekdays has decent number of girls but Quality sucks. I did 4 new girls and 3 repetitions. The sessions with the repeats was of the charts. O made them work and they seemed to like it. When the week endhcame the numbers and Quality was back.

It's slow season here, so If you have been here before, and are arriving during the day, I would wait until you get here, have a cool drink, park your bag there, and check out the 4 main recommended chica friendly hotels in town, mentioned below.

If you have never been here before, or arriving at night, I would book a room for the first night, get a good night's sleep and take a short walk around town after breakfast to get your bearings, and see where you'd like to be for the rest of your trip.

As to ATMs, I love them. I don't like carrying cash around with me, so I would bring a few dollar bills, and get the rest from ATMs (there's one at the airport) I'm Canadian so, ATM's give me the best rate for pesos, even with the service charge. It also provides an online record of my daily spending.

Other guys don't use ATMs and prefer to change their USA Dollars in town and can get a better rate!

You can use your smart phone here but the roaming charges can be a nightmare. Unless you have an unlocked phone that can take a local SIM card, like i do, guys borrow or buy a cheap local phone.

Others here may give you some pointers too!

Avoid the scotiabank ATM at superpola, I personally know 3 persons had major probs there within the past year, a good rule to follow is only use an ATM at located at a bank, I make the trip to cabarete if I want to get cash on my my scotiabank card. plus the atm at superpola is usually out of service half the time anyway

I cannot speak for Santo Domingo but on the North Coast the inconvenience of the hurricane season is greatly exaggerated. I have lived here ten years and can only remember a couple of times my day has been ruined by weather. Generally the weather is great in summer.

I know. I only answered the question asked before: why summer in DR is considered low season. Answer: weather is 'worse' than in January / Feb. It doesn't mean there are hurricanes or storms everyday, but still, as a tourist point of view, few days of rain are worse than none.

Snow birds get away from where they live during the winter and go back to the good weather during the summer. Most tourists will go to Punta Cana, which will be busier in the summer than the winter. The north coast is worn out when compared to Punta Cana where everything is fresh and new and appeals more to tourists. There are nowhere near as many families and romantic couples going there than Punta Cana.

The exception is Brits, because their summer weather is nothing to write home about and many families come here during the school holidays.
