Two ways to avoid the $25 ride into town.

If you do not have heavy bags. Walk thru the parking lot to the main road. Remember. When you come to the main road. You are going left.

You wait and a van will stop by with a bunch of people. It will cost you one dollar (Dominican probably pay $. 50 or 100 p.) to get drop off across the street from bus terminal in Sosua.

Second way. Main road take a taxi. It will be 6-8 US dollar.

Or sometime a taxi is dropping off people at the airport and heading back to the main road. Same prices 6 to 8 dollars. Or 300 to 400 p.

Ten minute walk. Of course if you are in a hurry. Pay the $25.

Also the moto bike will offer as you are walking thru the airport parking. A little bit too far for me on the back of a moto bike carrying a suitcase.

I might add, for those who have pre-arranged a hook up with a chica, get her to pick you up. You won't be paying more than 10 bucks for the ride! Maybe even a cold Presidente too.

But for the regular fare of 25 you'll get an immediate, clean, air conditioned van, with music, your bags taken, which can be a stress free way to start your vacation in Sosua, especially after a long trip! (maybe from the West Coast or Europe) You'll be chilled out at your hotel or favorite bar with a cold one, in 15 minutes, while other more frugal mongers are still at the airport playing hard to get and negotiating!

Sometimes that airport clears out quickly between flights, and you could end up the last man standing and have no choice!

So all my encounters were short time and I never paid more than 2000 pesos. I only found 2 ladies that said no to those terms. One of them claim to be from Venezuela and promised me the extra 1000 pesos would be worth it, as she was right.

I also found a pretty good massage place right across the street from my hotel where I paid 1000 pesos including the tip for a one hour massage (no extras). I also visited the massage place across from Terra Linda resort and paid 1200 pesos tip included for average massage and amazing BJ. Her name is Brenda (The only name I remember of all the ladies I met).

Other than the free breakfast I got at the hotel I couldn't find any decent food on this trip. I have been to the Netherlands, Germany, Scotland, Romania, Thailand, China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkey, Mexico and Canada.

Sousa is my new favorite. I miss that place so much 😆.

Let's start with quick review of Economics 101 (you did go to college didn't you) it's that thing called supply and demand. The reason why mongers pay is because that is what the suppliers demand.

Let's start with geography: Santiago is in the Dominican Republic. Santiago is a city (ciudad in Spanish) and the country is named the Dominican Republic.

Next economics: Your numbers are off. The amounts mongers pay very from monger to monger and from city to city. In Santo Domingo is very easy to get a ST for 1000 DOP right up to 14,000 DOP or more for 2 hours. Why do mongers pay that? Because they have a sexual desire and are willing to pay X number of pesos to satiate that and the girl that agrees to satisfy that desire wants that amount (we are back to that tricky concept of supply and demand again).

In the state of California the minimum wage is 11 USD / hour. A 6 hour shift pays 66 USD. A 8 hour shift pays 88 USD. The current retail exchange rate today at my favorite cambio is 50.35 DOP to 1 USD.

Now let's do some basic math (you remember that from school don't you). 1000 pesos costs me 19.86 USD. 66 - 19.86 = 46.14. So, if I'm doing my math correctly (and trust me on this one I am because I used a calculator and checked it then checked it twice) that would mean a girl from Santiago IN the Dominican Republic is sucking and fucking for about 46.14 USD less than a girl who is serving me my Original Chicken Sandwich combo meal from Burger King (forgive me gentlemen, there is no accounting for taste) located in California in the United States of America. The girl from Santiago would need to suck and fuck at least three dicks a day / shift in order to earn just a much as the fast food girl working a 6 hour shift at the counter or drive thru. Add two more hours and the Santiago chica needs to suck one more dick. So for the Santiago chica that's 3 - 4 dicks a day, 15 - 20 dicks a week. And I'll let the readers imagination complete the rest of my example.

The next time you are playing sexual tourist in the Dominican Republic (in the city of Santiago or otherwise) please ask the girl taking your dick if she would rather be doing that or working for minimum wage in at a fast food place in California?
