Hotel. Alicia beach hotel re modeled rooms are good comparable to 3 star hotels. There is however some things need to be improved. Air con split should be larger. Cooling power is not sufficient for the big room especially in summer months. Need to give one or two more pillows in addition to two supplied. Bed is comfortable. Clean sheets. Bath towels good. Plenty of hot water. Bathroom is clean and toilet is nice and new. I stayed in superior king bed room. $65 per night for superior rooms $75 for bungalow, $55 for regular room. All come with free breakfast for one. Nice safe place to park car which I need because of I always rent a car. Do not like to park on the street. Location is excellent. Alicia beach is not crowded and you can take your honey there if you are so inclined. Breakfast is sufficient. Dinner menu is good and tasty. I had lobster there which was cheap.

Bars. Nothing much has changed. Gets crowded in the evening. Even though this is the slow season most bars are standing room only. Classico does allow single girls free. Only men are charged 200 pesos. Once again standing room only after midnight.

Girls. Plenty of girls and equal number of guys. Ration is probably even. So asking rate is not going to go down. St rates around 2000 and LT rates are from 3500 - 5000. Do not be surprised if the LT girl takes off after one shot. I heard one guy say he paid LT rate before hand and got gypped. So do not pre pay. Higher percentage are older. No teenagers or low 20 girls. Late 20 s and most are in their thirtees although everybody claims to be 25. Some with real big natural boobs. They wear revealing dresses showing off their boobs. Very few had boob jobs. I guess compared Columbians they cannot afford to get one. Some are heavily padded boobs and asses. Very rare to find natural beauties. I guess all beautiful girls have found better opportunities elsewhere to earn better money than trolling Sosua. Few years ago lots of beautiful girls used to come to Sosua to supplement their income. Maybe stories of police harassment has kept them away. This visit I saw police patrolling constantly but were not harassing anybody. Even the girls out on the street were not harassed. I heard there was some anger from the working girls initially from the murder which place but on my trip there was no animosity. Only two girls asked me why I was staying at Alicia hotel and if I was not afraid. I joked saying I did see ghosts in the night. And they were nice looking. Mostly they were on my bed LOL.

Usually I try to locate a girl who I can take on trip, beach, dinner etc but none tickled my fancy. The girl from Santo Domingo wanted but I said I am busy and will call. She left her number and WhatsApp I. The. She said she likes to surf. Must have learned from somebody.

Well that has nothing to do with Black Americans. Dominicans think about going to other places where a cluster of Dominicans are, where they have friends and family. Those are the places they have heard of. They think about going to Bronx, NY, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Boston. (For some reason Caribbean Island people always flock to cold places.) They don't talk about going to Houston, LOS Angeles or Seattle.

Earlier today my exgirlfriend told me that she is going to New York and asked if I have friends or family there that she could stay with for 6 days. Well I am a Black American dude and I totally disagree. I don't think I have much in common with Dominicans at all. I would never only drive with my bright lights on. I would never cut people off while driving. I would never try to skip ahead in the cue. I would never beg, extort, or scam people for money. I would never turn my house speakers toward the outside and crank the volume up to disturb all my neighbors. I like my cooked food hot. I eat vegetables.

That's not what my mean, more the other way around, that Dominicans look up to the USA, and its the place they all want to go before Europe for example. Trying to chat to a Dominincan chica about Europe is pretty much a waste of time. Where are the countries, what languages they speak etc ? Their references are largely North American, it's the promised land for them. When I tell them it costs me me 30 Euro to go to the doctor and I get back 20 of that from the health insurance, or that in the UK its FREE to go to a doctor, they think you're just telling stories! Yes, after sex I like to talk about the real world sometime. Plus they think all that matters in life is money. Of course I understand why they think like that, with their levels of poverty and inequality. But as their biggest neighbor's visitors (the USA) also come from a much tougher, more money oriented society than an average North European, they probably think the whole world is like that! Yes, I know I'm generalising, and I don't mean to offend anyone, but I notice from American visitors I meet there, that often the first question they ask is what do you do for a living, that they even work on vacation, something that a French or German guy would be much less likely to be doing!

I might be flamed for this question and let me preface this with the fact that I'm heading out to cabarete and sosua for a two week monger / relaxation trip and it's my first time as an adult in DR and single. Have seen the scene out in Boca chica and Punta Cana but always had a lady with me (bahhhh). Anyways, I would love to know if there are any high end escorts in the area? I'm used to Venezuelan, Colombian, Dominican, and Panamanian women with work done (arguably at a much higher price) but I'd love to try one or two in between regular sessions with the local gals. If you've seen Boca, you can get a good idea what to expect in Sosua, but more of it. In addition it has good beaches and restaurants all within a 10 minute walk, so no transportation is needed.

As the other poster mentioned, there are a couple of adults only resorts a cab ride away, where everything is provided.

Cabarete is a laid back beach, known more for it's beachfront restaurants and bars, than P4P action, but in the DR, you can find them just about anywhere.

Sosua always has lots of women available, but the higher end ones come in for the high season tourist pickings, December through March, particularly at the weekends.

Regular visitors and residents, who prefer top shelf stuff, make connections over time. And have no problem bringing them in from the surrounding towns. If you like Dominicana and Haitiana ladies, there really are some stunners, but for the once a year tourist, you have to choose from what's available on any given day, or week, or season, or weather.

Of course working girls want your money (doh!) But on the demographic bell curve you have two extremes, fresher amateurs with few skills, just their spinner looks and bodies, to the hard core regulars. And everything in between. Like we mongers, they too have their preferences, so each encounter can be quite different for each combination of monger/puta.

A chica you take for a quickie in a cheap room at the back of a downtown bar, where she is reluctant to mess up her hair and make-up, is not going to show you what she might show a regular with a nearby condo and a pool. They like to relax, too. LOL.

It explains the widely varied reports of disappointment of some mongers, and the blown away awesome experience of others.

There were high end adult resorts who supply a choice of companions. Just do a search. It is all inclusive and there couple of ISGers who wrote a report on those.

Dominican Republic is not widely known for model type girls. I generally do not go for 9-10 because they have an attitude to match. This trip in Sosua I did not see any model types. There were some over the hill girls who might have been very pretty long time ago. Few years ago I used to find fairly good looking whitish girls but did not see any this trip. Also I did not see any teenagers. Most were in mid twenties to forties.

Cabarete is not known for mongering besides there are young dude surfers who get to pick. You might find occasional gems.

Every one of them is different. And that is what makes it fun and interesting. Yes the girls have preferences and that is a good thing. The DR is so screwed up that these ladies have few options. All I can tell you is that if you go then you are likely to have fun. Don't worry about what everyone else is doing or who they are doing it with. Just make your own fun and gain your own experiences. There is more than one way to skin a cat.
