I will be in sosua next Saturday staying at new garden for a night. I was in sosua in February for one night. I liked it so this time I wanted to do a full day and a night to check it out. Anyone else going to be there next weekend?

I know it is going to be packed with Dominicans, but with being a holiday weekend (easter) I was thinking not as many passport bros as a normal weekend or am I wrong?

I can understand kinda. I was in heavy into Sosua from 2013-2015 thought it was great then I went away for year came back in 2016 thought it was trash. I promised myself I'd never comeback however covid happened and I retired didn't want to live in America everything was closed Mexico was the only other country open. At this time youtubers were showing up making Sosua seem like the go to spot. So newbies started showing up.

So to me the only people who enjoy Sosua are newbies who don't know any better or vets who have a lot of friends in town have regular chicks they deal with so they are not hunting on the streets so the fact that the prices are up and quality is down don't really bother them.

March 24 to March 31 - It will be really crowded with Dominicans. The beach will be packed. Probably not great for street girls but other girls will be motivated for money and I am expecting an onslaught of requests for money- offhand I would avoid it but I wouldn't cancel if my trip was booked.

The best time to go to get your rocks off will be the week before. ALL chicas, street meat, students and housewives will be open to making some extra money for Easter clothes, more food for family visits, hair do, shoes etc. It will be a buyer's market everywhere and there will be deals to be had. Don't expect long stays cause they will have a quota to fill. Be firm with your price--they will bite!

You just aren't listening the back in the day Sosua is dead. What effect nothing the Haitian chicks are worst now than they were before no longer the cheap sweet GFE they act just like the Dominican chicks at about the same price point and there less attractive. If your itching for DR / Haitian chicks then Santo Domingo should be the better option as the hotter chicks from there Santiago etc. No longer go to Sosua.

In November 2023, Though I met a sweet mature haitian. From now on I will stay far away. The experience I had with them, they were worst than Dominicans as reported below. Quite a surprise for me, much sweeter in 2017..

What has the world come to when even a Haitian has a privileged attitude? I guess the Su really is dead. I have been watching film on the latest scenes there on youtube and the quality of girls just looks terrible. On a side note, Cuba looks like the new spot. This dude Keenan Lambert did some outstanding videos and it looks a lot like the Su of 10 years ago. Personally, I can't handle no ATMs and shitty WIFI, so its off to Panama City for me in a few weeks. Just wish those flights weren't so long from the northeast.

Which one is quiet? I stayed at the pyramid back in the day and it was noisy as fuck. I forget the name of the dude running it, but I remember hearing he got locked up for fucking with underage girls. Seemed like a good dude when I met him.

I have never stayed at New Garden but I go there often to eat and would not stay at the restaurant side. There are guests there at times, playing what passes for music to some. The owner has another property the opposite side and it might be better noise-wise but no personal experience. The Sosua Inn, next to Bailees, draws, for me, the wrong kind of crowd and so that is out for me. My recommendation of Casa Valeria still stands as I always found it quiet and if you stayed around the pool, even better, despite the fact, it is practically smack in the middle of town. The rooms are also very decently appointed, more so, after renovation and are pricier than other properties. The other places I have stayed at are not as close, walking wise. The norm is, the further away you are from the main street the quieter it gets, but for those cretins who want their music to be heard by the whole world when they drive.

Clearly, these days there are AirBnBs that are not anywhere close to the main street but would be quieter if one is so averse to noise.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any louder. Sheeeit - Apparently this is now the transportation of choice for east coast urbanites. A guy was sitting on one in the middle of the street. In the middle of the afternoon. Plainly smoking a joint. Nothing like being discrete- again. No one cares what you do but you can't rub it in their faces.

If one needs help to pick up women, in a town like Sosua, there are those that go to to a hotel I cannot remember the name of, where women congregate, which is next door to Bailee's Restaurant (overhyped and priced). Not my place.

Casa Valeria is probably the classiest in that the kind of guests it attracts. Not exactly cheap but not very pricey either. It is run by the Dutch and for a long time, and has its own restaurant with good quality food. It is smack in the middle of action and literally you can whistle your catch in.

How do you think the chaos in Haiti will effect the Su? Santo Domingo? Itching for some DR / Haitian girls after years will the Latinas, also want to experience the nostalgia factor as back in the day Sosua was my first mongering trip ever.

Finally decided to take a trip, booking a flight for April. Would love some tips or information regarding accommodations.

I've already looked at the Alicia and the Garden, but what are the other good hotels / resorts in the area? And which one is the most resort like / fancy? I don't mind spending a bit more on nicer accommodations and ideally want a place that feels more like a resort than a hotel, if that exists. And of course is close to the action.
