Posts: 1982Shout out to Mr. T for throwing up a trip report the way a OG should!
And now I would like to add a few of my insights to an otherwise excellent post by WarmGun. Not taking thing away from you brother. You must be busting off constantly and that is why your barrel stays warm.

You do not know who she has in her back pocket. Now there are those who beat on their chest and talk about how they handle their chicas. But that is because it starts with mutual respect from the beginning. These girls you are pulling from the street have an agenda. And it is not to please you. Deescalate the situation. Are you really willing to blow your vacation up over 500 DOP (do the exchange rate amount in your currency)?
If a girl threatens you, call the security of the hotel you are staying at. If you are doing it AirBnB style you are flying solo. But when the police show up. All bets are off. And if she makes a claim of domestic violence you are going to jail. Showing those messages of your agreed payment for sex is not going to help you one bit. And may hurt you a whole lot. Remember you have the right to remain silent. If you act like you can do the time and are uninterested in paying any money. If you get arrested don't start screaming like a girl. Go peacefully. And hopefully one of your boys will reach out for help. Stay calm. If the charges are trumped up you can beat the rap. It will not be a pleasant experience. But hold frame and take it like a man.
One tip that the security guy a the place I stay at in Sosua gave me was to always take a picture of the girl and her cedula together. Now that may spoil the mood for you romantics out there, but please keep in mind that at the base you are engaging in a business transaction. If you want GFE find a girlfriend. These girls are giving up their cedulas all the time to get into hotels.
Now here is a cultural tip. There is currently a campaign at the highest political levels to remove prostitution from Sosua. Remember despite the lack of criminal law against prostitution in the Dominican Republic it is not looked upon as beneficial at all levels of Dominican Society. And if you get caught up in the legal system guess the level of society you are going to be dealing with, a higher level. No one has to run scared here. But pay attention. Keep your situational awareness on high alert. And avoid police encounters if you can.Last edited by SubCmdr; 05-25-23 at 00:39. Reason: I don red o spel 2 gud

Happy fishing to all my bros in here and thanks for the reports. Hope everybody is having an awesome trip to the land of tits.
I would like to ask everybody to enjoy Sosua responsibly:
1. I noticed that the majority of girls are asking US cash. Please ignore these quotes. The currency here is pesos, use it, you're in another country with no price equivalency to your own as far as cost of living. Do no get scammed this way.
2. If a girl is asking more than 2500 to 3000 for ST and 5000 to 6000 LT. She doesn't like you! She doesn't want to sit on your dick, you will have a bad experience! Don't pay to be disappointed! DON'T DO IT! I.
3. Get quotes in writing WaP or txt, if there's misunderstandings or any douchbaggery along the way.
4. Enjoy the beach and ocean and keep them clean please.

Posts: 2116A quick trip this week.
Got to Santiago, wee hours in the morning as is the norm for Jetblue. A young man drove me to Sosua from there. It was very hot, especially middle of the day and I coming from snow bound land. As a result, I stayed in the room during those hours. Of course, the visitors came by as usual and it being somewhat out of the center, and quiet, is always better for those who do not want to flaunt it.
There was a new middle eastern restaurant in the Hotel Europa area. Displaying such Turkish specialties as Doner Kebab (also known as Shwarma in Arabic), Falafel and Baba Ghanouj. Those that think that there is life beyond a bloody hamburger, could try somewhat different. I also noticed a Jamaican place right opposite the big Canadian Hamburger place but it was always shuttered down so no luck with a Jamaican goat curry, which to me is scrumptious.
Evenings were rather pleasant with a nice breeze and it was feasible to step out and go for long walks. The place is alive and as usual, there are plenty of visitors. Once I was eating dinner at New Garden, a whole host of women were showing up and being escorted upstairs by the guests. I of course, have long stopped picking people off the streets. Indeed this time, there was one new addition: someone visiting for the first time. Eating together is common and drinking is not, bar a beer at times. Girls like to eat a pizza (wonder why) and so went to the Pizzeria next to the German restaurant off the Main road.
This time, returned home via Santiago (Puerto Plata has only one direct flight to my city per week) and it was 225 pesos by Metro bus. Went to my favorite goat restaurant in Santiago at night and once again the young man came to pick me up at the hotel at 2 AM, dropping me at the airport.
I have to say this: I am getting lazy. Once upon a time, I would rent and go see places but nowadays, mostly that went out the window, otherwise, no complaints.
P.S. : Pineapples were good. Succulent and sweet, mangoes not!
