Question what rates should I negotiate once I'm in Sosua for ST and LT? What is reasonable?

How much money do you have?

Guys who are loaded seem happy to pay 3500 to 4000 for ST. Guys on a budget pay 1500 for ST. In my experience of nine years and that of my closest friends, there is no difference in the quality of the chicas. (Sometimes they are the same chicas).

Guys on short vacations are at a disadvantage, because if you want instant "point-and-click" you may end up paying more. If you have time to look round the back streets and nearby villages and bateys and build a list of phone numbers, you can totally control what you pay. Also, whether you can speak Spanish and/or French can influence what you can agree a lot. So does how sober you are.

LT is more complicated. Depends on the arrangements. You may or may not be paying dinner, breakfast, transport and buying clothes.

Hello There Fellos ISG members.

Its been about 2 years since I've been in Sosua, only because my buddies and I have been traveling a lot to Asia, Costa Rica, and other places. I really enjoyed Sosua last time I was there. I am wondering if a couple of guys here that have been on the ground recently can assist us with the questions below so we can decide if things have not changed much. My boys and I want to go this fall, but they are somewhat apprehensive hearing about the early closures, chica raids, and rumors about club closures.

1) How do the early closures at 12 am change the scene for people such as myself that are used to staying out later? I know Friday and Saturdays are not impacted by this, but Tuesday through Thursday are. Are the clubs like Clasicos starting earlier during these days to adjust and people going earlier, like 9 pm or is it dead Mon through Thurs. ?

2) Want to make sure Rumba's is open still, yes or no? Are Rumbas, Clasicos, and Bourbon Street still the top places as of recent?

3) How is the casino after hours scene for the girls in terms of quality and is it a cool place to hang out or not? I remember it mediocre last time?

I did read all of the recent posts and stay on top of the posts here, but there still does not seem to be a lot of opinions and recent intel regarding the above. The posts by Turgid and Adinga implied doom is on the horizon in Sousa and were not too favorable. A couple of others stated that not much has changed. So thanks, your responses are greatly appreciated. We want to really make sure we are making the right decision or should we wait til things cool off and return to normal ?

True. In addition, often when guys rate women theyve been with, they are factoring in their overall experience with that woman and how they made them feel. And that can boost that womans attractiveness when they make their assessment. The reason why I say this, is because often I have talked to a guy about a chica, and hes going on and on about how beautiful she was, how nice her body was, how cute her face was, etc.

I get to see a pic of the chica or he points her out to me, and it's clear to me beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. And that it was probably her overall manner with him that made the difference in how he would rate her high on his scale. I too recall photos shared here from board members of chicas. But when you see them here in Sosua, you know right off the bat it's not their looks alone that got them high reviews.

The last 4 yrs I've been in sosua pretty much every two months. A LOT of guys go with 6's!! The trophy hunters are the minority. As long as their happy it's all good IMO.

One clear reason (not saying its the only reason) IMO why the trophy hunters appear to be in the minority, is because the trophys themselves are in the minority, compared to the abundance of regular (but attractive) chicas. ID estimate (being generous) maybe 15 trophy type chicas show up to the club, and the rest are just average attractive chicas? You may have 30 or more guys in the club looking for a trophy.

But finding themselves quickly adapting to what's available because there arent that many trophy chicas (9 and 10;s) to meet the "TH" demand. In addition, enough trophy chicas fail to get business from certain guys because of their attitude and body language. Turns some guys off. Moreover, if a trophy hunter is not a night owl, and / or doesn't like clubs, he will likely pick HIS trophys from the best of what's available, but not in the club / disco.

I have never visited Sosua, because I'm satisfied visiting Santo Domingo, but I'm sure you are 100% correct.

You can get everything from a 20 minute session with a 20 year old spinner, point and clicked off the sidewalk, in a $10 room next door to your bar, (take your beer with you).

To a fantasy moonlight and candlelight dinner with a big boobed bubble butt beauty on Cabarete beach, with wine, lobster and a strolling band of musicians (costs a little extra).

And for a little more extra you can invite her "cousin" along too.

That is apparent when you are somewhere live and in person, but when they come on ISG 9 out of 10 mongers will not admit to that. They claim to have all this criteria that has to be met, but when you see mongers walking with a hooker, usually it is just a regular ass chick. I don't see too many mongers walking down the street with the beauty queens they have claimed to get.

No dispute from me regarding what's said on forums. And yup, just a regular chick. But I was speaking strictly from what I see on the regular, my interactions and conversations with guys right here in Sosua. I would say most of the cats under 40 and slightly over tend to be the age group that are more apt to pursue the night life we spoke of. But when you get to many of the guys well over 50.60 and even 70, the numbers going to the disco / club tend to drop off in comparison to the younger cats.

Older cats can be seen moreso hanging out at the bars and restaurants. And chicas are always on patrol nearby to get some cats attention. Not to mention, if any guy starts walking down the street early evening until late, 80% of the time he will run into chicas trying to get hired on the spot. Chicas patrol in front of many of the hotels close to the strip, looking for work. And they get it. A guy knocks off one or two like that, by the time he hits the street to get food or entertainment he aint too concerned about getting laid again at 3 am by a chica from the club / disco.

In addition I get to hear reports from guys that tell me they used to go to the disco, but they no longer do. Reasons? Too crowded. Too noisy. The so called dimes that show up after 12 usually want crazy money, that these guys no longer are willing to pay. Enough guys have finally figured out that you can get these chicas before they even get up in classicos, and sometimes get them for less. Enough have realized that even the so called best looking chica in the club, aint nothing more than a 6 or 7, heavily made up with facade gear. Enough have realized that the same chica he saw on the beach earlier in the day, has somehow transformed into a sexy 7- 9. So some figure , why pay her 4000 + if she is really a 1500 to 2000 peso chica?

Another complaint enough guys have, and maybe more a concern than the cost, is the whack, mechanical, overly businesslike service many chicas provide. Which is why enough guys tell me, and I echo their sentiments, that theyd rather have a 6 that gives the service they want, than deal with a fucked up experience with a chica that could care less about offering the type of service that might garner repeat business and references for future clients. Thats not to say however, that less attractive chicas are always less problematic. Its always a roll of the dice when dealing with these females.

We are in accord, that there are tons of guys that do not give a damn about any of that. Like you said, they have money to burn. And they don't give a shit about any of the shit I said. They want to party, they want to be the big dog, and they don't really care how much it cost. However, if their prized venue ends up closed or not available like they were accustomed to, they will be forced to adapt.

And if they really want to show how significant their money/patronage is, let them put that to work to keep their club / disco open. If their money or influence can't do that, then they will just have to deal with it and adapt like everybody else.

I been living here for a while there are 8's an 9's in Sosua Thursday threw Sunday the problem is they know they are fine. But seriously I don't understand how y'all comes here and leave wit 4's and 5's I see it everyday, and I am in the street everyday. I see better looking regular Dominican chicks walking down the streets than what these dudes be pulling out of Classics. Just makes me Laugh.
