    2) Casa Valeria had a room but only for one night as against three nights of my intended stay. Decided to take business elsewhere.

    3) Went to eat Fish and Chips as my dinner at the British restaurant on Pedro Clissante.

    4) At about 11, went to the bar below the disco (whatever the name is). Plenty of women and plenty of interest in doing business. One, a local, identified me correctly as from India and then wanted a beer for hitting that right. Another one, would drink only Corona. Got a bunch of phone numbers and then called it quits for the night. BTW, 99% of the women I spoke with, were from Santo Domingo.

    5) Next morning, called, um, wrote to those that I liked more, on whatsapp all had that. Surprise, the quotes were from 2500 pesos to 4000.

    6) I also had invited two those I picked on the street, to come to my room. Saturday. They too, spoke nothing short of 2000. Long story short, I told the two in the room to leave. Actually one on remote whatsapp, had agreed to 1500 but then had other issues that did not go down well with me.

    7) Hmm. Saturday midday and I still did not get lucky, the way I want. Went to eat late lunch at the German restaurant on the highway. Sausage and fries and a beer. Called a 24 year old at Pto Pta. She was going to the gym. Come over tonight, I invited her. No response.

    8) 6 PM, the girl writes back apparently no wifi at the gym, that she would be able to come over. Ha. A good work out for me, finally. The sosua kinds are, this no, that no. Fuck that.

    9) The woman shows up at 9.00 PM at the Parada de Sosua and is hungry. We travel to the German place again which she remembers from a trip two years back with me and wants to eat there again. Good choice. Good food. About 1200 pesos, a variety of sausages on the grille, fries and and sauerkraut which she loves. And beer. Not only for a man, even the road to a woman's you know what, passes through the stomach.

    10) After dinner, she wants to go to the Austrian place for dessert. We do that and she enjoys the pastry thoroughly. Check, next stop, my bed. Good work out and a good deposit. Girlfriend quality.

    11) Next morning (Valentine's) wake up and call a chick I saw passing by the night before and got the number from. She quotes 100 dollars. Do I look like an idiot?

    12) I decided to eat lunch at an Italian place right next to the Colmado on the road towards Mary rose (near Bologna restaurant). Excellent pasta with a white seafood sauce and a glass of white wine. The Owner is Stefano, from Tuscany, with a thick mane of white hair. Please visit the restaurant -small and not fancy but with great food; pizza too!

    13) After lunch and an espresso, decide to go for a quick ride, to see if I can get lucky before my siesta. Driving by, I see two chicks walking by. The faces looked familiar. When they stopped and said Hello, we recognized each other two women (Frannie knows them as well) I met my very first trip in 2011. Interestingly, these two women were every now and then breaking into English, which will tell you about their avowed profession the last five years. I take one (Kathy) and drop the other. Jenny after apologizing that I am not into threesomes. Long story short, the woman in bed did not create any issue as she knew me. Left happy and I to bed.

    14) Valentine's night. The whole town was agog and then the rains came, in fits and starts and was often a downpour. I did not have a date and so just drove around a bit and sat somewhere, smoking a cigar along with a Bohemia.

    15) Went back to hotel later, after enjoying a nice slice of meat and Ratatouille at the French restaurant next to the Brit locale. I love Ratatouille.

Lots of women (pretty yes but the prices seem to have gone up even during the day or I have grown a tail) and lots of men on the main drag!

Moral of the story, Sosua for me is great for food: English, French, German and Italian but for the women? Meh!
    There's your problem.

You are a gourmet when it comes to food, and women.

Unfortunately, when it comes to women, Sosua is just a big McDonalds

Oh, yes, I remember them well. They seem to have been left behind. There was a third girl who was snatched up and taken overseas, possibly to Italy or Canada, and I guess those two never quite made it away, although I think both of them had novios and hopes of getting a visa to somewhere. Or maybe Kathy went away and then returned later.

    Sosua good times

    Sosua good times.

Pulled in first night Feb. 8th 6 pm, did one lap around the block to check the action and boom, saw one I liked she singed at me, so I waved up here I can pull over, she ran up to the car and I asked her was was the scoop in Spanish. I'm from the island east of DR]. She replied 2000 for a 2 hour sesh and I said 1000 she said 1500,I replied you know the price is 1000 and she said how much would you give me? I said 1000 and dinner she got in the car faster that she could say yes. Went to dinner and then went to the hotel. 18 year, old spinner with a wapau ass BBBJ for 10 min not bad for 18 then, spun her in every way possible good sesh. Second night called her and seshed again 6 pm then I went to Rumba and watched for a while till the one showed up! Called her over asked how much she said 2000 I tried same tactic and she wouldn't budge, so I let her go,20 mints later she walked by and I said you ready she said lets go, Anabel oh my god what an ass and body 21 yrs old super good BBBJ and she could snap those hips reverse cowboy like lighting. That's a double in one night for about 75 bucks including dinner. Got love Sosua.

Classic oh if we build it they will come, NOT! I like the Se Vende signs on the front. Also look at the vines covering the height of the building, must have been sitting for some time now.

It surprises me that you didn't contact me through private message to have this conversation. Did you reach out to the host for the pictures and photographs? After all, he commissioned my work. But it shouldn't surprise me that you want a copy of the pictures. After all you witnessed a true professional in action. I accept your complement. For the record, I brought Coors light to the party and that's what I was drinking. So were you having a vision, memory or alcohol related problem that night? LOL.

Last time I checked, I didn't have a problem handing anything in life. Not my camera, my liquor or my women. Although I do appreciate your concern. LOL.

So, when your travel plans call for a healthy dose of women who fuck for money, feel free to come back and visit the DR. Have a safe and comfortable flight back to the states. LOL.

And that's my trip. I rented motorcycles in both Sosua and Puerto, rode back and forth between the cities a few times, pre gamed at Field of Dreams a few nights with the guys, and had good fun drinking and dancing with the girls there. We got to see the real city of Puerto and Sosua with some locals, experienced the culture, we all wore our gold chains, earrings, and jewelry to the clubs, but I wouldn't suggest that for everyone. Overall we loved every bit of the DR. Can't wait to go back!
A nice refresh new report Dude. Thank you for returning the respect.

The strangest one of all is the Hotel Sandcastle Resort, just west of Charamicos on the Sosua River.

They were planning a major marina there and around 15 years ago they flattened and relocated half of Charamicos, as it was then, to make way. (you can still see the old town on Google Earth Historic)

The main building of the hotel is still there commanding a view of a beautiful horseshoe bay and beach.

Nearby is a huge development of new looking condos which have also been abandoned. Some serious real estate there!

Nowadays the locals use the beachfront for their beach party picnics and the kids play around the abandoned, but still imposing hotel.

I've had some great times there los Domingos with the local family.

Curious this discourse should come up now. Yesterday evening, I drove along the road that goes by Mary Rose and went all the way to the abandoned casino and the tutty frutty building etc and I too wondered. I also saw that a lot of nicely manicured residential buildings at that far end that are on sale. Without speculating on the cause, I would also say, it is strange.

    Sounds great renting the scooter

I rented one in Punt Cana. I was a bit nervous but enjoyed the experience. I would suggest renting from non Dominicans. Every business run by them is subject to scams. I was hit for phantom damage. Just how business is done in the DR.

Abandoned buildings and businesses are common all over the DR. Things are started like gang busters and quickly die.

I go to sosua 3-4 times a year and I tell myself evertime I'm going to rent a scooter and explore, but somehow I never do. Def got to try it one of these days. Will help the time pass by in the day. I've heard that one reason there are so many abandon buildings in pp is because the russian mob buys these buildings to set up fake business and laundry money. While I do believe it is the case, it is not the main reason for all the empty building but a factor.

Wow you guys are a real bad influence! LOL I was trying to relax with maybe a chica or two in between my stay, now with a guest friendly resort I have a feeling the NY marathon is coming early this year.

So I just booked the last room available in Europa, or so the site says.

I also sent them an e-mail confirming they'll have a well air-conditioned room on 1st or 2nd floor, or if I can check out a few rooms upon arrival since I will be landing at 11:30 am.

Last thing to do is to cancel the casa marina reservations.

In the end, I'll have an extra $289 to spend around town on some good food and alcohol.
