I'm in Sosua giving updates but I'm on a 2 day delay so I can't report in current time. Seems you and Tempo are also on delay. Read my report below about the beach yesterday. I'm getting ready to go there today.

In case any of you Sosua guys haven't heard tomorrow is "D" Day for playa Sosua, they will be shutting down all the casitas and closing the entrance to the beach. All of Sosua and especially the beach is overrun by police and swat type equipped police today. I'll stick around for a week or so to see if there is some kind of access to the beach as I swim there every day, if I can't go to that particular beach then I will sell my car and furniture and buy a plane ticket to Thailand. The place where I typically stay in Sosua is booked during the period of 11/19-26 which I did not expect. Could any of the Sosua afficionados send me their recommendations for a similar place (an apartment with kitchen and independent entry) in Sosua? The place I stay in, is not in the center and so typically less noisy but I would appreciate (ideally a whatsapp number and rates) info from anyone who know of or have had similar short and comfortable stays in such places. Thanks in advance in appreciation of your help.

Please post updates. Interested to see what this weekend is going to look like as tourists show up and there is no beach. I talked to a bunch of chicas today and many had no idea. Only 1 was wise enough to ask how I knew. I said I read on the news. If anyone does stick around please update on how to move in the really new Sosua. I never got to see the old Sosua but glad I got there before they entirely reshaped the beach.

Not going to venture at night due to safety and unfamiliarity.

And that is where you will be cheating yourself. The main action is at night. Maybe go in the daytime to familiarize yourself then go back at night. There are no safety issues besides a chick stealing your things. Also keep in mind that it may be 30 minutes travel time from your resort to Sosua.

The plan was to catch the 8:30 am express to Sosua from Santo Domingo but I woke up at 8 pm. Now the plan was the 9:30 am express. As I'm on the Carib tours bus I start to get all these videos from friends saying the police are now shutting down Sosua beach with heavy police presence, WTF. The Congrejo bridge can't take heavy duty vehicles so my trip was prolonged as we detoured.

Arrived in Sosua and headed straight to the Tree House on the beach for the chicken wrap. It is a Tuesday so I expected the beach to be slow and it was. As I'm eating my wrap the 3 wassap groups I'm in are discussing the new beach closures and the police presence and saying Sosua is a wrap. I'm laughing as I let it marinate before I send them a video and burst their bubbles.

Then I post a video of me partying on Sosua beach in current time. Something is going on with the police, the Sosua vendors and the main hotel being built on the highway, but nobody really knows.

Did a Sosua walk through and it was slow with slim pickings. Then I stopped in to talk to a couple bar owners that I know.

I'm not really feeling the girls I see on the street so I might do a oldie but goody repeat from yesteryear.

What's funny is the Colombian wassap group I'm in is terrified as they hear and see the videos of the supposedly closing of Sosua beach. They are saying Medellin and Cartagena will be overrun by Sosua warriors and ruined.

I see an excellent game plan here. Don't let anyone show you around in Sosua. It is a hustle society. They will speak English to you and call you brother. But whatever "help" they provide they expect to be compensated. If you really have a question and you need an answer you are much better off asking a worker inside of one of the business establishments.

3) When you say during the day, note that during the hottest part of the day there will not be the best selection on the street. One good afternoon activity is to goto Sosua Beach and post up. Get the chicas on the stroll to sit down with you and interview them. You can get their number and a feel for them. Do not buy them a drink unless you want to. This is their job interview and you do not have to pay for their expenses.

Bailee will be your best choice when it is hot in the afternoon. There are also other various establishments on Pedro Clisante but in the afternoon they are more like hang out spots. The hardest of the hard core will be out on streets at this time...

As others mentioned, Sosua is a place where you have to go out and get your feet wet. Everything is there, you have to go out and get it. Now, how well you negotiate, know spanish, network, and research will mean everything. The fact that your going on such short notice with little knowledge is crazy to me LOL. I personally had my first time there with no spanish or travel experience last month. This forum and a few OG's were everything, even though I still made mistakes and had a "newbie vacation". Anyways, would love to see your daily report on your experience. I'm sure people will chime in and help you along the way. Like you said, It's a lot of knowledge. It's not easy easy to run down everything.

Like Mr Gogo mentioned, maybe like a Sosua map showing the important places, like restaurants, bars, and hotels with important notes. Such as, the places chicas flock to at certain times. Or maybe that's to easy and people should show that they can work for it?

Thank you for understanding. A lot of posts gave me good information which I can use now before going on my trip. I have a gameplan now which looks something like this-.

1) Will use Tinder to see what I can get out of Puerto Plata and Cabarete.

2) Will try to get some information and rates for seeing girls at Oasis resort for incalls.

3) Will visit Sosua during the day and scope it out and get used to it. Maybe go to Captain Bailee and walk on Perdo Clisante and see what I can find. If I find someone decent, maybe take her to the Dulce secreto cabana.

I am aware now that outcalls in all likelihood won't be allowed at my resort so I am considering daytime outcalls to a Cabana that I rent. The action really picks up after things cool off and go into the early evening. I know you are concerned with crime. But you are really going to miss out on the best times in Sosua if you are not there for the night time action. On a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night I suggest you splurge and get a room and spend the night in Sosua. If you stay on the lighted parts of the street in Sosua you can lower your concerns about crime.

Do not let the chicas feel you up. Tell them to keep their hands to themselves until you get to your room. When it comes to your room. Chica proof it. By that I mean do not leave anything of value visible for a chica to see. Look it up if possible. I hotel gives your increased security with the chicas. The have to give up their cedulas and if there is a problem you can goto the front desk or notify security of your hotel.

Depending upon the types of girls you are looking for. On the street you can get away with 2000-2500 DOP for a short time (at least I can). I recommend an offer of 2000 DOP with a bonus of 500 DOPif they perform well. Even if you are going to increase the price go next with 2500 with a 500 bonus. Credit goes to Grownman for the idea. In Bailee, Durandpaul has a strong plan of operation there. I suggest you review it. His number is 3000 DOP for the chicas he pulls from there. Another place to check out after things cool down is Kings / Rumbas but you have to be cool with the musical selection in there. Honorable mention goes Bar Central, Jolly Roger Bar and Grill, Brick City Flames Sports Bar and the German Place that is right next to the general retail store across from Kings.

Look sharp on the street, but do not display outward things that could make you a target. I do not even pull my cell phone out on the street anymore. I give the chicas my number and tell them to send me a WhatsApp message with their number. Remember, all chicas are going to want to go "ahora mismo" that is right now. That is not always possible. So giving out your number is way to figure out which ones are hungry and which ones are looking for a gringo windfall payday.

Even when you are negotiating with chicas in Puerto Plata you can start around that 2000 DOP number. They are going to ask you to pay for a taxi. It is your option how much. But hammer down their transportation fee up front. Chicas are not above asking you to pay 500 DOP for a taxi then taking a 100 DOP moto ride at night. You can use uber to judge proper payments depending upon the travel distance.

Lastly, show your appreciation for the people contributing to the forum by posting about your experiences. We all like to see new posters have a good time and their perspective and opinions of the place good or bad. It is good to see things though new eyes.

Before I made the post, I went back 10-12 pages on this site and all I found was random girls' names with barely any links / contact numbers. Some of the posts just have reviews and first names of girls. Where am I supposed to find out who that girl is and how I can see her? I don't want to DM people when I have newly joined. I don't live there and I am going there for the first time so you can't expect me to just know things like some of you who live there half a year or travel multiple times a year. I also checked outside this site for other information and came across vague sites with random ads that made no sense.

Again, if anyone has any recommendations off the top of your head and can lend a helping hand then please shoot your suggestions my way.

And if you don't have a room in Sosua (I believe the OP said he was staying in a resort in Puerta Plata) then you take the girl to a cabana. Look it up on google maps or goto to the general information forum and search "cabana". I wrote and extensive post on them.

A few things that I think you're missing.

1) As Mr. E noted, the vast majority of Sosua is in person point and click, not FB or whatapp like other spots.

2) Most of us will not give a girls contact to someone without her permission, let alone someone we've never met. This is a recipe for disaster (guy doesn't pay, doesn't tip, asks for weird stuff, isn't clean, etc.).

3) The first thing you did in this forum is demand something. Human nature with any group wherein people have invested time is to be turned off by that. You haven't given anything and we sure as hell aren't being paid for this (nor do we need to be).

The above noted, I suggest you focus on learning a little bit of Spanish, hitting the streets, and outside of that you can try LA Cupid and other Dominican sites. Again, as noted above, the DR is much more a 'in person' type of place than online. Sosua is all of 3 or 4 blocks, so you won't be overwhelmed. As you hit up the bars and spots you will meet fellow participants of the hobby who will give you tips. If you are nice to the girls they will also give you the numbers of their friends. Obviously try not to be a simp and overpay.

Good luck, and if you write a report you will get some cred and posters will likely engage you more.

That is because Sosua does not work like the questions you are asking. In Sosua you walk outside, find a girl you like, then take her to your room to fuck. It is that simple.

And if you don't have a room in Sosua (I believe the OP said he was staying in a resort in Puerta Plata) then you take the girl to a cabana. Look it up on google maps or goto to the general information forum and search "cabana". I wrote and extensive post on them.

You need to check the guest policy at your resort Cam442 you may need a cabana in Puerta Plata also. Sousa is not a place where references to providers work too well. And often times when individuals who visit Sosua find good providers they only share that information with others in their network. Learn how to interview girls (takes practice with boots on the ground) to find out if they are interested in providing the social sexual services that you want. Work out a price with her and hop on a moto for a ride to the place I referenced above. Other option is to rent a room for the day in Sosua.

Puerta Plata and Cabarete are good for finding girls on Tinder. Focus on figuring out how to operate in Sosua. Focus less on the girl and more on getting the deal you want.
