I have hobbied in both Sosua and Santo Domingo and my advice to the average American wishing to monger in the Dominican Republic is to go to Sosua. I have had leche papi providers in both places. The ambience of Sosua is much more pleasant than SD. Sosua has a relaxed vacation atmosphere, good value for money hotels within mere minutes walk from a great beach. Also there is easy access to other tourist activities besides seabathing. The chicas are at arms length in Sosua whereas in SD you will more than likely require a taxi to get to them. In Sosua it is very easy to hook up with fellow Americans and trade stories. Having mongered throughout the world in places such as India and Trinidad, Santo Domingo is a piece of cake for me but for the average American it would not be enjoyable. Hot and polluted with maddening traffic and very noisy. SD motorists love blaring their car horns. One has to be very careful walking the streets as the drivers have no concern for pedrestrians. I would advise anyone who wishes to monger in a city atmosphere to go instead to places like Panama city, San Jose or Tijuana, these places are a little more expensive than SD, although by not all that much, but the average US monger will fare better there. I would visit SD because as the years go by I tend to gravitate towards the cheaper destinations mainly because I've done it all, I have banged the superhotties and now at the end of the day for me its just about bustin a nut. So if your wish is to monger in the Dominican Republic my advice would be to stay in Sosua. If you want to play the tourist by all means visit Santo Domingo, Santiago, Punta Cana etc.

The sad part is that some of the visitors to Sosua never got the chance to visit Sosua pre 2009. The girls were sweet little kittens all about pleasing, money was secondary and usually paid just to get them to leave you alone. Sosua to me now is about finding that hidden gem who is not as hardcore as the PC girls. Rumbas, Classicos are just walk through for me to show my face but the chicas in these spots couldn't get a " hola" from me.

In a way I've been doubling back my last few Sosua trips, fucking girls I never would consider pre 2009. I guess these are just clean up trips for me. Now an average looking Chica who is down to earth and humble has a chance whereas before it was only fine girls.

In the " Old Sosua" it was a crime to go home alone, now I have no problem just hanging out and not getting pussy. I would rather have a beach girl come to my hotel after she works, or a side bar worker getting off late to hunt nowadays.

In a way we are a product of Rio in this new Sosua. Rio made guys step up their game or get on an airplane with their feelings hurt. These sport fuckers started to come to Sosua in 2010 with the shut down of Rio. Gradually over the last 4 years sport fucking took over and GFE was gone. With sport fucking and fast money the girls in the DR adjusted to the new game. The sweet GFE girls went back to the barrios to get pregnant by Dominican boyfriend and the SD girls began to dominate with their hustle mentality. Few over nighters, no more GFE, condom blowjobs, and rushed service.

In a way guys who haven't taken the time to learn the language and culture deserve to be stuck in a hardcore Sosua.

That's the best take on what has happened to Sosua I have seen. Says it all.

I met my GF years ago in a different Sosua. You could never use the word "innocent" to ever descibe Sosua, but SW aside, there was a naivety of attitude, and a fun sense that anything is possible, and a lot more emphasis on relationships and getting to know the other person.

The main goal of a lot the chicas in those days was to potentially hook up with a "rich" foreigner (all foreigners were considered rich), either an ex-pat living there, or a guy that could take them out of the country and take care of them (and family indirectly). The ring! It was a mark of pride and success among chicas.

I have seen a lot of those chicas from the crowd we knew do just that and have married there or moved accross the world. They are always showing me pictures of the new babies, from Germany, the States etc on their cell phones. "remember so and so? "say Hi for me".

Those marriages seem to turn out well for them, and I never hear of any horror stories about how it all went bad.

That could have been me because we were grooming each other for that kind of thing. Over time I realized at my advanced age I could never live there and there was no culture, here in cold Canada, in which she would thrive.

So now we are good friends who enjoy spending the occasional week together, whether in her apartment in her town, far from tourists, beaches, gringos and clubs, or, because I am still an inveterate girl watcher, Sosua for a beach vacation.

And if I can manage to get down there a day or two before her, I can still do a little SF on the side, although it's never as good as with somebody you've known for years, and trust implicitly.

Regular GF, a different way to go, but highly recommended.

The hard part is finding that gem. I was lucky!

What I was trying to say was that after learning spanish I wasn't going to pay big bucks to go to a country in South America that did not speak spanish. You sir sound like the dumb gringo that would be naive enough to say that Brazil is a very safe place. Neither Brazil, Colombia, or the DR are safe. All you can do is reduce the danger by practicing certain protocols. Try living with the locals in one of these countries for a few months, they themselves will tell you that it is dangerous. My live in girlfriends in both the DR and Colombia watch me like a fucking hawk because they know we are targets.

You will get kidnap or killed, but when I travel to Medellin Columbia, it was the most beautiful women and some of the most friendly people you can ever meet. The Whole point is stop listening to people and go experience the world or you will miss out on alot.

If I had listen to my friends I would of never traveled to DR, Columbia, Brazil, The Philippines, etc. And miss out on alot of beautiful women and I hate when people talk about a country and never traveled there to go experience for themselves they just go by what other.

I have had good results with Cupid but I put in time vetting the girls. Many girls claim to be looking for husband and serious relationship. I try to be as honest as possible and not lead them on. Once you can laugh and joke with them you csn set your own ground rules. I have been seeing over years. Being able to not having strings takes some work. BE straight forward and honest. I am few days away from my trip to Sosua. And reading the last topic makes me wonder what's the quality of women in Sosua. First I wouldn't travel to Rio just for pussy unless I have something else to do. If I was to go to Rio for 1 week, I would have to spend minimum 2,000 for flight and hotel. Probably $3,500 if I have to add food and pussy. That's a $500 daily average. With $500 daily, I can bang 2 to 3 strippers with a banging body in the US. That's equivalent to 7 to 10 quickies on backpage or craigslist. I have met sugar babies for 150 a night.

I have been contemplating going to Sosua for more than 2 years. I am finally going. I don't expect to meet only 9's or 10's body and face. I expect the same type of girls I will meet in a black strip clubs in US (most of them got a big ass and so so face).

You are making a good choice my man. Since the DR I haven't seen, been on, or given a fuck about BP. Not even when I was in the Atl and Mia. Did flight comparison 10 days in advance. SD $463 Rio $1840, enough said no brainer. If you read the rio forum all they do is complain about how prices are higher and Help is no longer there and things were better in the good old days.

I wanted to see how it would work from Florida after reading all the good reviews of Brazilian women and Brazil. The cost of flying is minimum 4 times higher and flight time is also minimum 4 times longer as compared to DR. I have a regular job and limited vacation time. For the time being Brazil is out of picture for me when I take into account the cost and flying time. It may be an option when I retire!

One simple cure for avoiding "leche papi rapido" chica encounters: GET OUT OF SOSUA, LOL!

Mr. Gogo, Mr. Enternational, Tempoecorto, they are always all over the island picking up chicas and are never in Sosua for more than a couple of days. Learn from them. Sosua is mongering with training wheels. Go to Santo Domingo for grownup mongering. You may get your ass kicked a few times (flake-why chicas, rip-off taxis, etc.), but the women you meet will be much more friendly and less of clock watchers than the ones you are meeting in that open-air puteria called Sosua.

Just like you wouldn't expect GFE from a streewalker in the US who is looking for a quick trick, don't expect too much in Sosua. It's just a bonus if you happen to find it.
