Nor should there be. So long as they explain their involvement honestly and clearly, it is a useful service announcement to give mongers information on which to base decisions.

For example, it would have been helpful if the management of FoD had explained their new pricing policy on here instead of leaving us to post conflicting experiences and assumptions which made them look shifty.

Of course, if the person keeps spamming the board with repeated info, they should desist and take out a paid advertisement. If they are actually getting business from this board it might be tactful to do that anyway. Jackson might then be more tolerant of advertising in the "posts" section.

October 2014 Sosua full report.

Hey guys just came back from Sosua Yesterday I got a 20% deal with jetblue on the dunkin donuts special so I said what the hell let me head to Sosua, it only cost me $325 total for round trip airfare and I stay for about 5 days, Stayed at the world famous New Gardens.

And I want to give you guys details on what's going on. Now you hear all the news and rumors on crackdowns and some of what you hear is true but its overly exaggerated. I can tell you that things are definitely very slow. Not to many mongers are coming to Sosua.

Anymore. But that is a good thing because the chica price has drop right back to the golden era (Pre 2011). Most Chicas will gladly accepted 1500 pesos or less. The days of waiting on a 3000-4000 peso sucker are pretty over now.

You have a few hardcore putas that charge by the hour but you can talk them down or avoid them like the plaque. All the Action is in Rumbas in the day time and then around 12:00 at night they head to Classicos.

Now Classicos is back in full effect and every night I went to Classicos it was packed with Chicas and the Chicas are more beautiful. Only the Hot 8's and 9's are willing to pay the 200 peso entrance fee. All the gutter trash hood rats hand out around rumbas and outside of Classicos.

Also Classicos brings out alot of non-pros (weekend puta), These girls feel more comfortable going to a nightclub like Classicos then going to a bar like Dlatinos, I guess alot of them avoid Dlatinos because they don't want to feel like a Street Walker. So if your looking for a Stunna Thursday night-Saturday night is jampack. 10 Girls to every 1 dude. But like I said in my earlier post, I talk to alot of hotel and business owners, and things are much more slower then normal. I guess the word got out that Sosua is going throw a crackdown.

Great report ForceSteeler. I wish I could get airfare to the DR for anything less than $600. You East Coast / Florida boys got it made.

This was exactly what I was trying to tell the other poster on here who was complaining that making chicas pay an entrance fee would somehow deter chicas from coming and turn Classicos into a sausage-fest. As you (as well as I) have witnessed the exact opposite is true. The entrance fee lures in the diamonds and keeps out the riff-raff.

I can tell you that things are definitely very slow. Not to many mongers are coming to Sosua.

Really? Not even the weekend ballers are showing up? I guess they've all finally maxed out their credit cards and student loan borrowing limits, LOL (just joking).

This is all good news to me. I am heading back down South (South America, that is) in a couple of weeks, but I may need to set up a quick side trip to my old stomping ground Sosua!

I have run into many girls in Sosua who were nice girls once they got to know you. However they run into guys who are sometimes ass holes. I was low on cash once and a SW I had earlier came by early morning for a freebie when she learned my cash was done. I was going home at 1:00. It was a nice send off.

You and I concluded The same rationale. To add since a lot of these chicas only come out after 11:00; they are not your Normal Hardcore trying to accumulate as many dicks per night as they can. They are less likely to run deceptions and tricks in your hotel. Except leche papa leche. My man fresh had to a chica who really didn't have a game plan on how much she wanted to charge. She was nice sexy Blanca chica from Santa Domingo. She desperately needed to make $300. Fresh gave her 3000 pesos. The next day she wanted to repeat with him 1500 and a ride to SD.

I stayed at Victoria House about six years ago when they had the buffet breakfast and the side entrance but recall "issues" with the place back than as well. If they had their act together they could do a much better business but are behind the times compared with the other properties in town. Also I found it kind of lame for a representative of the hotel to post on this Site which I thought wasn't allowed to be done, perhaps somebody can clarify this?

The Victorian House is the shadiest place to stay in Sosua. I remember complaints from the employees who weren't paid. Then the electricity was taken off the city grid for stealing power which caused the lights to go off and on at night.

The biggest ripoffs are those contract memberships. For $3,000 down you can get rooms for $40 a night. That's if they are not shut down. There are fellas who paid 5 years ago with a promise of $25 a night. Well the place was shut down and the dummies lost their money. The Victorian House is still running that game.

If the standard hotel tax is 23%, you charge 18% and several other Sosua hotels I know charge 8% to use a credit card, guest what, you're too high for Sosua. Plus you never addressed the other issues I mentioned. Besides, your rooms are outdated and your television are old and do not work. On a rainy day I might want to chill for a few hours in the privacy of my room watch sports or the news, and your 1975 RCA ain't allowing that to happen. Apparently you folks at the Victorian House do not believe in upgrades. Yeah you might have a remodeled bath room or two, but maybe two. And most important, your security sucks. One day a security guard came to my door during the day I was checking in to tell me two skanks who saw me exit the taxi at the gate want to see me. What kinda security is that?

That property was a great place when it had the side door on the beach open, all you can eat buffet breakfast and all the bars open, especially bar outside the lobby. Now that property makes false promises about upgrades. That place will never be the same. I first stayed there in 2010, and it has gone down hill. All the Victorian House depends on is the view of the bay. But it's very close to being like that abandoned resort next to Charmicos that you can see from Victorian House. One day I was looking across the bay and I said that will soon be Victorian House, abandoned and empty.

The Sale is pretty much over now. It ended September 1. All you had to do was buy a cup of coffee and get the promo code. Or you could of bought the promo code on ebay for $5. 00. It was a good sale. Got my tickets for $325.00 RoundTrip, which was a steal. Reminds me of the good all days (Pre 2011) when Jetblue use to fly to POP 2 twice a day (Day and NightTime Flights). I was paying under $300 to fly to POP.

And most mongers are heading to other places like Costa Rica, Asia, etc. So if your going to Sosua right now is a buyers market right now. But sadly I use to go to DR 5 times a year, now I can only see my self going there once a year. The Dominican Chicas Performance.

They claim that prostitution clothes tourist areas in the province of Puerto Plata.

I read this article in Puerto Plata Digital, were they said most of the foreigners who owned business were pimps. This was my response to that article:

Don't blame the establishments, because you would have to blame the country. I have been to Sosua and other parts of the Dominican Republic. When you have an environment that doesn't promote any kind of advancement for it's people this is what you get. Now you tell these women that they can't make any kind of income. Most of these women will tell you that they didn't choose this kind of work. But it is better than starving. So what they will do is go to another part of the DR and start it all over again. What they wanted in Sosua and Cabarete is the cruise ship income. But that won't replace the income lost in the long run. Most of these women were lucky to make $50 dollars a week. They called those men pimps, but what are they called in Santiago, Santo Domingo & Punta Cana. This was very stupid because the person who started this crackdown didn't have a plan for the women who are now basically unemployed, no matter what their positions were. No matter what kind a work a person is doing, I am a firm believer in not taking food off a persons plate. Especially if that person might have a child at home.

If a foreigner owned a business in the DR and in "pimping" chicas, HE is only follow a DR tradition that has been (and still being played) long before HE got there. 3 of the 4 casas have open back up in BC like they have never closed by Dominicans. Its sounds like they just want to justify Dee Bowing foreign investors assesses.

I wish that was the case then we can justify making them clock in and out. Short sessions no full pay. I think it was Mr Gogo that explain this before. The street chicas in SD ran there country cousins out of Sosua and back to Puerto Plata. The chicas in PP didn't play the time game. They gave you the GFE and stay with you the hold time you were on vacation. When SD chica took over, they played the game like they do in there hood. Quick fucks for quick money. I use to be 2 hours short or all night. The chicas have recently add the 1 hour instead of 2 hour trying to be smart. If I am in DR and a chica is asking how much time you want, I know its more than likely she is from SD. I don't recall BC, LR, or SP ever asking that question.
