Over the next few days, I had a real good time with my novia. It did not take long to get full boyfriend privileges in bed, and we mostly ended up our evenings going to the disco, getting a pizza to go and watch a movie cuddling in bed. Even though my chica is a hardcore teen, when she was relaxed she looked like the young girl that she is. She had couple of self comforting behaviours in bed which were both sweet and sad. She talked about wedding rings and bambinos, which was all fun but not real. She got her hair straightened and uncurled and also bought a special thong-just for me, according to her. We made quite a pair-middle aged guy with a young girl with tattoos, piercings and dressed in a somewhat trashy manner. One day returning from the beach we saw couple of young guys carrying a cooler with beers in them. When they saw us their jaws literally dropped. An old fart and a young tart-loved it. I love to rattle people's cages. LOL. Also, I managed to say hola to her mother in Santo Domingo, and I was suppose to visit her casa, but ran out of time. Initially, I told her I was staying for 10 days rather than than only four more. I am glad I did this.
Unlike Pattaya, I find it impossible to meet other mongers in here. They travel mostly in groups or pairs, and know each other which makes mongering in Sosua a lonely sport. With my novia and her friends the club and beach scene was more enjoyable. All in all an excellent trip.

Too many mongers focused on two places. Rumbas and The Latins. Hey, it made things a lot easier no doubt. With those two bars, a monger knew that no matter what. They could always walk in there one evening and be walking out with a chica 60 seconds later. It was just that easy. But for those that had been going for awhile, while we may have relied on Rumbas and The Latins. It was relied on more as a last resort. The very first chica I ever got with was from the bar directly across PC from Rumbas. Hermans bar it is. And the funny thing is, I was so impatient and wanted to just sit there to see the view of Rumbas (at that time it was open air) and a chica came up to me and sat right next to me. 28 years old, beautiful face, nice body. This was within 2 minutes of sitting down. And on that first trip, I only got with a girl from Rumba or The Latins once. From the overall chicas I've had in Sosua, I would have to estimate that 25. Maybe 30% came from Rumba's or Latins. 40% came from other bars around Sosua. Some on PC, but others on the side streets etc. 10% from the beach, daytime action. But some turned into dates later that night due to excellent performance. And the remaining 20% are either streetwalkers that I ran into while walking around Sosua or they are "normal" chicas. Either have a job, go to school, or I met them from DC. I think that's a fairly accurate breakdown of my experiences anyways. So the two main hotspots were just a small part of my trip. As I've said before, now it's just a little more effort on everyones part since one bar is closed, the other bar seems to have changed policies multiple times and there appears to be more police presence. But sometimes I think we were a bit too spoiled. When I heard that Rumba was changing and Latins was closed, my eyebrows were raised, but in no way did I expect Sosua to be dead or be flushed down the toilet. It intrigued me a bit more to see where all the chicas would be going. Looks like Classico is that place. And the other smaller bars get a little more traffic now. I thought during my last trip earlier this month, it was a little strange to see two "icons" of Sosua be either closed or completely empty. But again, never an issue finding a chica. That will be the day I stop coming. When I know that after trying and trying. Walking around the streets, looking inside and outside the bars, there are just no more chicas and I've lost all desire to even try. Fortunately, I don't see that day coming anytime soon. Less than 2 hour flight from Miami, an affordable mini vacation, and being able to find a dark skinned latina, light skinned, slim, not so slim, girl next door looks, model looks, hardened looks. Doesn't matter, this place has it all. If you look at history and changes in other monger locations. Things always change, and you have to adjust your game. I read a lot of negative comments about people "reading" about changes and comenting on them, rather than experiencing it themselves. Or negative comments from those that relied on just two places in Sosua. It would be nice to see more experiences being posted now and how people have had to adjust their mentality and how it has worked for them. It might take a trip or two to get adjusted to changes, but when a city like Sosua has the type of reputation it does for the single male traveler. It doesn't just disappear overnight.
BTW, I am a person that likes to walk a lot. In my last trip, I did see more police presence on Pedro Clisante and just around Sosua in general. But I never once saw chicas being chased by cops. That's something I would have noticed very easily. Some cops were just standing there while girls walked by on PC. Nothing said to them. If anything it seemed like they were having a casual conversation with them. But chasing? I saw nothing of the sort. One of my friends is there this weekend and I texted him asking about it as maybe I am just completely oblivious, and he said the same thing. Didn't notice any chicas being chased around by police. I've read about this, but just have not witnessed it firsthand myself.
And Thailand is always great. There are differences between Asian girls and Latin women, but while each has its advantage they also have their disadvantages. DR is easy to reach and I can make a 2-3 night trip easily. Unfortunately, it takes that time just to get to Bangkok. But, once you are there. There is a lot to do. More than DR, that's for sure. And a place like Pattaya and Bangkok. Seemingly endless choice of women. I'd go back to Thailand once a year if I could. But for now, DR is definitely my go-to place. Costa Rica seems extremely overrated and not enough GFE. And Colombia requires good spanish, which I am almost there. I'd say I have enough decent spanish skills to check out Cartagena, so I might do that next time. It's just not as easy to get to as DR, but definitely not as hard as Thailand.

It's easy to separate the real international mongers from the weekend ballers. The real dudes incorporate themselves into the culture in some way. Maybe it's to learn the language and branch out to learn native cultural ways. Maybe it's to have a regular girlfriend and take in the culture through her. Others roll solo and learn by trial and error.
The ballers just want bragging rights to take back to the States. They could care less about culture or anything else, it's all about them. These ballers always go to the same place and do the Same things. They are always in groups bigger than two. They usually have the most hardcore girls hanging around the group like flies on shit.
I've learned also that the real international mongers roll strictly solo and don't have time for guys who always bullshit. These solo travelers might meet a wingman at a certain location but that wingman is usually solo also. In closing; when you start seeing big groups of any culture or race maybe it's time to find another spot to cultivate.

We are all familiar with the basic SP terms, like GFE, TDL, ST etc.
A number of posters recently have mentioned the "flip" or "flipping". It's amazing how a four letter word can describe a whole series of events.
I ask the veterans here, is this a common term that I've just never heard before?
Where did it originate? Was it here?, By who? (He deserves some recognition).
Do they "flip" in Rio, Thailand? Or is it something that just applies to Sosua?

As has been mentioned, a lot of Sosua mongers just want a cum receptacle without any thought process or work involved. They have low social status and conversational skills partly because they don't speak the language and don't know anything meaningful about the culture. I think its easy to create value in Sosua simply by differentiating yourself from this crowd. For me, I try to stay formless and adaptable so as to avoid being pigeonholed and stereotyped by chicas or the people in general. I use boards like this mostly to determine where I don't want to go or be around and not to mimic most of the experiences or advice of others. Those of us that are monger chameleons will continue to adapt as well as keep visiting other places where you don't tend to find the lazy mongers that only want the cheapest and easiest option.
Perhaps the current cleansing attempt by the local authorities will allow Sosua to recalibrate itself to something that is acceptable. For whatever reason they don't like where the money is coming from. This was predictable and preventable but the government never could get its act together. After seeing Doc Rivers and Chris Paul sign million dollar NBA contracts and then realize they actually don't like who is giving them their money despite their boss' well documented history, maybe this all is possible, LOL.
BTW, Thailand is great! Its a long flight, expensive to fly to and some mongers hate on Asian women so I don't expect its greatness to be diminished any day soon. There are some other great places as well, but I keep that close to the vest after seeing what happened in Rio.

Posts: 123They not happy but I was not happy that they tried to change the original deal. Most of the time they will not do all the things request so you get the original agree deal without the poor performance.

Recent stay, but issues is the same per 4 year period under previous administrations. The Victoria House has constant water and electrical issues. The water is either too hot or too cold. Then at times, the water is shut off without warning. I had to wait 3 hours in my room to get water. I killed my whole last day.
Then beware of their 18% credit card rate. Terra Linda's is 8%. However, Victoria House requires total stay bill up front. If you pay cash you have no refund recourse like a credit card would give. For example, if you read online about the original name of the hotel, Sosua Bay Resort, the hotel was closed with guests still on property and they had to find another hotel, but they were at a lost for paying cash.
The hotel is at a great location and has the best view in Sosua of Sosua beach, but it is poorly administrated and lacks security. Why did a taxi driver come knocking on my door. There are no phones or means to communicate with the front desk or management in case of an emergency. I've tried to bare with this property, but I'm done.
