I wanted to thank the group for the PM's -- I've received favorable responses on BlackBeard's and a recommendation to split the days between BBs and Europa, which I think we will do -- for a full experience. Just to share with anyone else with similar questions.

I had also read in another post that El Bohem and Crystals check the girls monthly for STDs -- is this true? Would they be considered safe eating?

Okay, I'm ready to go. Will be my first trip to the DR and to Sosua. Will be there for 6 days in February! What about getting pesos? Should I get pesos here in NYC where I live? Or, should I wait and get pesos in the DR when I arrive? Where/how do I get the best rate? How do I know that I'm getting the best rate? How about ATMs, and using credit cards in Sosua? Can I pay for meals, hotels, bars and massages with credit/debit cards? Can I use U$ Dollars down there?

I think at least half of the girls at the palace are bi.And the owner will set up whatever you and your wife need.I hammered Jahira and Niaomi in the ass last trip, needless to say ill be going back!

My wife and I are planning on visiting Puerta Plata and/or Sosua in Feb in search of chicas to bring back to our room for decadent pleasure. I have read all of the threads in Sosua and Puerta Plata, and have narrowed down places to stay to these three:

1) Blackbeard's (claims to welcome adventurous couples)
2) Hotel Europa (seems clean, chica friendly)
3) Puerto Plata Beach Resort and Casino (based off of Jimmy the legend's posting)

Any suggestions? We do not care about all-inclusive, but are looking for good clean rooms, resort-quality, in an establishment that would not frown on us stumbling back to the room at night with company.

I can't speak to #s 1 or 3, but I stayed at the Europa and found it just fine. They might charge you ten bucks for an extra person in the room, though, since there's already two of you. By the way, seems like you're one lucky guy.

I can attest that I did meet a couple that was staying at Blackbeards when I was there in November. You will definitely have a good time there.

Well I'm finally planning my trip to Sosua after reading this forum for 2 yrs. I found the airline fare cheaper going to STI than POP a $100 diference however I hope that's not what the cabfare to Sosua will cost me, any info on this will be greatly appreciated. I'll stay at the palace and generally follow the guidelines the legend ******* posted on his section(thanks Jim) I'm shooting for the second week of Jan. Hope a few of you guys will be there.

Sabor . . . . enjoy the trip. When you land at STI, just take a taxi to Caribe Tours. Buy a ticket to Sosua. It wil cost maybe 5 bucks. Once the bus drops you off in sosua, get a taxi to the Palace. The buses are nice and have AC, and if you play your cards right, may wind up sitting next to a cute chica or meet a cute obe at the bus station!

Well at 10:20 PM I headed over to Rockies but I saw a 20 something chica so I had to get my BBBJ.
I arrived at Rockies and JJ, Raj and Mav were there with about 40 other people having their price fixed dinners, only 500 pesos, includes all you can drink.

Afterwards headed to Latino Club with JJ, paid 50 pesos to get in, but it was dead so we walked over to The Mora Mai.

Cast of Pevs at Mora Mai, Palace John, G Man and his Brother, Clemenza, Vic, Strangeluck and Mr Ed. Plus they had a few chicas there.

Met up with Mav and JJ and we walked around. D Classico was packed and many of the smaller bars around the center of town were all open.
Chicas everywhere. Tourists everywhere. It was a party!!!!
