Thanks to all. I may split my stay between The Europa and The Palace if its still open for business in '06.

The standard of the guesthouse appartments varies alot, both in standard and size, most of them are privately owned. It's a good place to stay, and the security is very good.

    Europs info

I just returned from Sosua and stayed at the Plaza Europa for 5 nights. As I checked in I took a look at the guest house and was not impressed. Only looked at one room, I think it was a studio, but it was kind of old and dingy looking. The hotel rooms are much nicer, in my opinion, and also have a small fridge, coffee maker. The guest house rooms have a small kitchen as I recall, but come on....you're not going to do any cooking at Sosua, are you?? The guest house is detached from the main hotel, across a small street, and I'm not sure of the security there, either. the main hotel has an armed guard out in front at night which is nice. You can probably check them both out when you arrive, although the guest house was pretty full when I showed up.
    Good luck.

Can anyone tell me whats the difference between the guesthouse rooms vs. the hotel rooms at the Europa? They are listed at different prices on the website, and this will be my first trip to sosua. I'd also like to know if the studio apartment, or the double bedroom rooms can accomadate three males, who will all need their own bed.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks a lot at all.
If you really mean it when you say you want non-putas then I would suggest you rent a villa or stay somewhere off the strip (i.e Pedro Clisante).

All of the DR women that I have been with this past year (non-putas) are elated to hear me tell them I am staying at Casa Linda...it is off the strip and far away from the prying eyes and big mouths to ensure a true GFE from a non-puta.

I have been in DR about 8 times this year, and the best thing I ever did in my life was rent at Casa Linda.

If you go by yourself it will run you $80 a day...but you have to pay for quality.

    Hope this helps...

    HI pal -

I'm in Sosua now. The car rental agency you asked about (west of Domino's - just across the entrance to Villa Flor - is NEFTANY car rental. The telephone number is (809) 571-4273.

    Hope this helps.

    Sosua Girls

There are a lot of free-lancers in Sosua. Make sure that you are certain of the cost for the girl and what you're getting for it. Double-check it again just before you enter your hotel building. Just a tip to save you a bad experience.

I had a problem there where the price and service totally changed as soon as the girl was in the room. She had originally asked for 300p for a short time, but when in the room it was 800p short time. She was unable to talk at less than a yell - and I speak spanish. She was loud and beligerent and wasn't going to leave (within 2 minutes of entering the room) unless I paid her new price. I eventually negotiated to give her 300p just to leave (plus 200p to the hotel for the sign-in fee). Be careful.

    Sosa Restaurant

I loved the food at a restaurant called 'Hostaria 24'. It's conveniently at Calle Pedro Clisante 24, near Club X and the other girly bars/action. It's a small outdoor restaurant. Give it a try.

    CasaCayena hotel in Sosua

I stayed at the Casa Cayena (www.casacayena.com, casacayena@verizon.net.do). It was very nice. A quiet, little oasis. A pleasant outdoor eating area, small but lovely L-shaped pool, lots of deck chairs. The rooms had hardwood floors, a nice TV, aircon, marble bathrooms, lots of storage space for clothes, huge bed. Friendly, helpful staff. $40 for a room next to the pool (less on the 2nd floor). Breakfast included. The only thing was there was a guest fee - 300p all night or 200p for short time. A good location.

I have photos of the hotel if anyone wishes to see them.

    Sosua report

I spent a few days in Sosua last month. There were sure a lot of girls available at Club X and the 2 outdoor bars across from it (Club 57??) on Calle Pedro Clisante. Club X seemed to attract mostly non-pros. The others were pros-only. The 2 outdoor girlie bars were a bit of a pain as once you sit down for a drink there are 2 (sometimes ugly) girls sitting down on either side of you asking you to buy them drinks. (I always said that I had been buying sooooo many drinks for girls tonight that I didn't have so much money... )

I had one pick-pocket attempt near there on Pedro Clisante. A fairly pretty girl comes up to me and asks if I remembered her from before. No. Are you sure?, she says. She walks with me for a bit on the street and then comes closer and shows how she rubbed my cock then. I quickly notice that the wallet (in my front pocket) is gone and she's got it hidden in her hand. I was awake. I grabbed it back and quickly walked away. (I wished I had grabbed her by the neck and taken her to the police.)

Take-away message: leave everything you don't want to lose at night in Sosua in your hotel, perhaps even the wallet itself (which is usually visible through your pants - a target). You'll only need enough for drinks (1000p?). If you eventually want a girl, you can pay her with the money that you left safe back in your room. There's no need to pay anything up front to the girl while in the bar.
