Like everywhere else in Latin America, New Year's Eve is a family holiday. Clubs and restaurants have shorter opening hours and some don't open at all. Three Kings' Day is a big shopping day, mostly children's toys. Casas have shorter hours and fewer girls because many of them head to "the interior" to be with family.
