Really need some help here. I am booked to arrive early Jan to SD. Now, I don't speak Spanish and I will only be in town for 4 nights. What I'm looking for is p4 p only for day time and night action. Can you please recommend bars and places to pick up from, rates for ST & LT. Another point worth mentioning, I prefer to take the girsl back to my hotel.

Ditto what SavePros and Old Kool said, plus read Joe 100's last report (reminded me of the bathtub scene on The Mack.) As MrGogo likes to say, Santo Domingo will chew you up and spit you out. Imagine what she could have taken him for had he took her back to his room. But of course you will be taking them back to your room in Sosua just the same. Risks of the hobby.

I went to the place right next to Foxys tonight (NOT Foxys but the place right next to it. Not sure of the name) down by the Malecon in Zona Colonial. About 10-12 girls there. All decent looking. I don't normally spend $100 but one of the girls kept working my dk long enough that I started thinking with it.

Got to the room and dropped my guard. Let jeans and wallet out of my sight for a short while. 6th sense kicked in and I checked the wallet - 100 euro missing. She magically 'found' it when challenged but no joy on the missing 5000 peso. They heard me out but wouldn't return the 5000.

Lesson learned. I dropped my guard. However, be aware of that place. I'd steer well clear.

LOL. You are talking about Oasis. I took some guys there once and the manager said if I bring a person to session, then I get a free session. That should let you know how overpriced the place is.

You should have hit me up man. Me and my girl went to GBP. There were about 30 freaks in there. I have never seen so many chicks in that place. For the $100 that you spent, you could have gotten 4 chicks for the hour AND bought drinks for them (4 chicks 4000 pesos, drinks 200 pesos each = 4800 pesos or $100). And they are some honest hoes. They wouldn't have taken you for the mandatory optional tip that that chick did.

I would suggest you catch the Metro bus because it makes less stops and takes you directly into Sosua. Carib tours drops you in Charmicos and it can be very overwhelming for a newbie with luggage. With Metro you just walk down the hill a few feet. Metro leaves at 7 am, 11 am and 4 pm. Catch the 7 am and you are on the beach in Sosua by noon. I've caught both and will never catch Carib tours again unless there aren't other options.

If your flight is set get a hotel on El Conde the zona colona. Spend the night there go to Sosua in the morning on Carib tours. Buses start leaving as early as 6 in the morning. It is 4 or 5 hour ride. The ride has great views of the real DR. I think you will enjoy the ride. The bus is about 400 pesos and are clean and comfortable.

There are decent SWs on El Conde and the massage girls will go back to your hotel for 2000 pesos. These is cafe called Pacos on El Conde where SWs post all day. 2 or 3 at a time. You do not need spanish to be successful in Sosua. There about 200 plus girls waiting for you. SD is great if you have contacts and speak Spanish. If you stayig in SD then go to the malls which nice and the casinos in the evening. I understand the Jaraaqua hotel and casino has decent action action. All girls will go back to your room.

Get a $35/ night room in one of the hotels on or near the Conde. There are plenty of girls to be had for 1,000 to 1500 pesos who work the Conde. You'll find somebody you like. Sit at any outdoor table and they will come to you. There are many many more girls available in Santo Domingo than there are in Sosua. Sosua is more of a stocked pond because girls who aren't working are very rare there.

Trust us on this one bro: based on what you wrote, Sosua is EXACTLY where you need to be my friend, LOL! You are just asking for a shitty first trip to the DR otherwise. You can still fly into SD and take the bus to Sosua, but as a first timer I would definitely recommend flying into POP if you are able to.

Others here have better info on how to get there by bus. I've only flown into POP.

Thanks for responding Mr. E. - appreciate it. I guess I have been spoilt on previous trips to other destinations. I like the strip bars. Can enjoy the view and a few cold ones. If I get horny, then I might take it further.

Went to Av. Pasteur. But probably the wrong time of day (early afternoon). There seemed to be 2 x places. One was closed, the other was too but they lined up 3 girls for me. That sort of set up just doesn't do it for me.

New to the site, and this is my first post. I have been scrolling through this thread because I am wanting to go to Santo Domingo in late September (first trip to DR) and the only reason I came really going is because of what I've heard about the women there! Forgive me I'm not up on the shorthand and codes you guys use here, so I was hoping someone could give me some advice and tips on the following subjects:

Best hotel or accommodations to stay in that are nice but not expensive and will not have problems with girls coming over.

Best ways to find quality women (areas of town or websites?

What to expect to SP me so I can budget properly.

Also I'm a heavy weed smoker so hoping there is easy access to that as well.

Any advice is much appreciated.

I went by once when my brother was staying there. Pool area was nice although there are a lot of steps leading to it. Rooms leave something to be desired though. If it is more than $50 I would not stay there. Also the parking spaces were really narrow. SUV parked next to me while I was gone so I had to get into my car on the passenger side when I returned.

Thanks for your feddback Mr. Ent. I won't be driving and the steps (and maybe it's a bit slippery as well?) I think I can handle.

However, when you say the rooms left something to be desired, do you by any chance recall anything in particular.

I realize it's an older property (so not modern or refurbished) and some of the reviews on Trip Advisor said that the Internet drops off when not used in over an hour and you have use the password again. Also, rooms on the highway side were a bit noisy etc.

But, I did see folks say bath and showers were decent with large walk in shower etc.

So, in comparison to say Casa Cayena (about 1 yr ago when we both stayed there during Wilfried's mgmt) what do you think of the Barcelo.

I would imagine Barcelo rooms are somewhat better than Casa Cayena? Do you recall how the AC was when your brother was there's by any chance. The place is also quite close to the Bavaro Express terminal and seems to have a decent piano bar and restaurant (although somewhat pricey).

Since I will be there for at least 9 nights I am trying to be well researched and any input would be helpful. I can cancel either reservation without any penalty.

I hope to have my friend from Santiago there for at least 1 week and if all goes well, I'll see if she wants to extend and go to Punta Caña with me! And yes, I have backups and more backups! Haha Thanks again!

2. Have a tentative res in Dec for Gran Bahia Principe in Punta Caa all incl for two, and plan to take one chica with me. Any experiences staying there and transportation using Bavaro Express bus from SD to Punta Cana.

Stayed at Bahia a year and half ago. Very nice resort. Rooms are nice, the food was delicious in the main dining room. The restaurants not so much. Be sure to reserve your restaurants when you get there. Seats go fast and they are very strict at the restaurants about seating, very strict no reservation no seats even if the restaurant is empty! Barvaro express is really easy to take. Only took it from pc to sd, buses are the best have wifi and outlets on the buses. Very easy to take taxi to the resort from the station about 10-15 min ride.
