Back in sant domingo in two weeks used to visit quite regularly a couple years ago have been frequenting mexico since but want to try sd again. Probably going to hit gbp again what time does it open now and is it still 1200 ? Anywhere else I should try?

Check out the Venezuelan apartment in zona colonial (1500 30 mins 1 pop; 3000 1 HR 2 pops. 2 beers or 1 glass of scotch are included). There is also a new apartment with Venezuelans in calle Socorro Sanchez next to colmado pujols.

You can try oasis and another club which is adjacent hotel Napolitano. 3000 for 2 hours and 6000 for all night.

Last time I checked, the gentleman club or VIP club in las Americas calle marginal and all the clubs in Av. Pasteur are closed. I think most clubs are closed or the scene get slow.

Depending on your budget, you can check casa teresa. The prices vary like stock market. If the business is good, the manager increases the price for 3500 to 5000. If not its 3500 for short time and 7000 for long time.

If you are into street walkers scene, there are few in av. Independencia by the hotel casa Dorado. Some by the spain embassy in av. Independencia. There is a lot of girls by the gas station close to lavaderia (2 minutes drive from hotel Catalonia towards the helicopter hangar) in George Washington av.

Babalu was great. I once took a guy that has lived here 40 years there. We are walking through liquor store with a 100% born and bred dominican guy. They are like "where are you taking us". I go to open the unmarked door and they were giving me weird looks. When we walked in. Sh! T eating grins! First time I met a colombiana in DR. Very cute calena.

Mambo can be hit and mostly miss, but some diamonds in the rough sometimes. Rumba is cool. Many of those chicas get tipped so well from regulars they can be very selective or even not do salidas. If you like rumba, similar place on romulo a bit passed downtown on left. Cafe 40/20. There used to be many more similar to mambo and rumba at varying levels of quality or sleaze. Heck on romulo or near it was jotas, jey jey, babalu, victor's, etc.

WiFi down at airport. Couldn't connect to get an uber. Had to use an overpriced taxi. Lame.

So I am out with one of my lovelies and we decide to find a bar near my apartment. We look on Google and decide on Mambo bar in Piantini. We didn't read any of the reviews. Oops! Its a WG bar. Haha. Definitely not too much quality but the look on my chica's face when we walked in was priceless!

Took another lovely and checked out Rumba bar. I like the vibe in there and the girls are sexy and hang out with you. I am sure negotiations can easily be made for off the clock fun. Seemed like a lot of the same regular guys frequent the place as they were all there on the two nights I went. Good food too. Worth checking out.

3 D massage. Still the best legit massage place in Bella Vista mall. Masseuses are not attractive. At all. But they do good work.

I enjoyed staying in Bella Vista after a few noisy nights in Piantini. Consider it. Pretty solid access to any direction you want to go.

I hit up Vent lounge in Bella Vista twice. Great roof top pool place that services drinks and food. Definite date spot or just fun to chill.

Enjoyed one night at Jaragua casino. Always hotties there at the live music venue. They start at $150 USD but drop to $80 in a minute. No gracias.

Was surprised to see about 10-20 WG's on Sarasota avenue in Bella Vista. All offering 1000 DOP for ST. Not very good looking though.

Got swindled twice on Uber drivers not closing out the trip and continuing on, thinking I wouldn't notice. Most passengers wouldn't unless they had cell service 24/7. Just be mindful.

I finally checked out GBP- That place is SMALL!. Quality was ok. Definitely some cuties. I liked when some of the girls would get down to their thong when they would just randomly and unemotionally dance on each man. Too funny. I brought this up a couple of years ago. I think it was CP or Frannie that said the workers are supposed to get the 10% (LEY) as a service charge, but the owners of the restaurant hardly, if ever, fork it over to them. The 18% (ITBIS) goes to the government.

I just found an article that said the 10% tip is supposed to be charged and divided amongst the workers if you consume inside of the establishment, but if your order is to go or delivery then you should not be charged this tax.

You will have no more trouble finding girls in Santo Domingo than you would have in Sosua. You will have more variety and quality in Santo Domingo. Once the sun is low (beginning about 4 PM) the Conde is similar to Sosua in terms of concentration of willing providers in an open air setting. It is the place where you will need the least amount of Spanish and the least amount of effort to get girls. Just like Sosua.

As for GFE, my opinion is you are less likely to have anything along those lines in Sosua where 90%+ of the women you will meet are focused on getting your money and getting away from you as soon as possible to get somebody else's money. Let us know how you make out.

As a guy who lives in Sosua (Most of the time. Right now I'm back in TO to take care of a little business, family stuff like weddings, and Father's Day) I am almost exclusively fucking semis.

The differences are real and not imagined in the social pecking order.

In Sosua the reality is that semis are typically bar, hotel and retail store staff. They have a regular job and therefore have some social skills, personal hygiene and grooming, can show up on time, and can be trusted around money and food.

That's a big difference from your average strip strolling "pros", right there!

In their jobs with the public, they are constantly being hit upon by tourists and regular visitors. They all want to fuck that new young beautiful bartender or server. store clerk or bank teller. The guys all want to know if she's putting out, or wifed up.

She can basically pick and choose her clients, like that nice, clean old guy, who has a nice local apartment and a little money to spend, or the buff good looking young buck who comes in regularly with his pals. There's an element of familiarity and connection that builds up over a little time.

As OldKool says, that's not something the occasional visitor or weekend warrior has the time or the inclination to develop.

One big falacy here that a lot of guys tell me is that his chica is not a pro, she's a "student". Some say they need a little "help" to start a small business.

My long-term girlfriend worked in a pool-hall, setting up the tables and serving drinks. Working hours were from 4 pm to 2 am (at which time it could be dangerous for them getting home, and my girl was once mugged at gun- and knife-point and robbed of her ID, which cost a packet to put right.) For this they were paid the princely sum of 4000 pesos per month. As the clientele was 95% Dominican, what tips she got only covered her moto to and from work and a meal from a street-vendor. The only reason the girls worked there was the occasional chance to go with a customer to the nearby hotel for a an hour or two at 1500 pesos. I would agree with Mr Enternational in calling her a puta but she would be genuinely offended at that job-description and so would her employers.
