Why? I have taken public transport in SD many times. For me the only problem is that it can get very crowded. One wonders when they would cease taking passengers. I love public transportation in the DR but I have made changes because of COVID. The smaller buses I don't take right now, Uber is just as good plus safer. On the smaller busses it gets very crowded and kids and grownups coughing. No sterilization process on the smaller buses. You might see small animals, beggars and bums on the smaller buses going local. I can go on the smaller bus from Santo Domingo to Boca chica for about 1.50 usd and it takes just 1-2 hours. The Uber for the same ride is about 11 usd and takes 40 minutes. Nice comfortable ride with music and a driver who isn't on a bus all day with people coughing. Now the big buses covering the island are comfortable and very nice.

Just don't stay in BocaChica, the mayor there is not doing his job.

- In Dominican Republic, prostitutes are not that organized and they don't do it for a living, most girls always find a guy that help them a little and that's all these girls need, these girls don't starve.
