Hotels like the Marriott will refuse entry to such girls. You might read a few posts here first, as this is a very common question. There are hotels in the capital more comfortable with the business.

    what to do!!

Ok so I goin to Santo Domingo from the 17-22, we will be staying at a Marriot over there, but I never been in DR and have never done a trip like this (friends bachloer party, going to a place like this etc) I need as much info possible, where to met girls pros and non pros (cost etc) also even though all my friends know spanish I don't so well, will that hurt me! Also do you guys know if hotels like the marriot will give us problems if we bring a bunch of girls back to rooms etc!

    Please let me know,

    Thanks y'all

    Bogata?

I see why they call you crazy!! LOL
You've got the right country, just the wrong city...........

Ford, Do you think Tiger likes Bahama Mamas?

But the bottom line is, both destinations have their own gems. you just have to dig them out!

Please note this is my second trip)

    1. Women are lighter skinned
    2, Women are more sophisticated
    3. Women take care of their bodies more
    4. Women arent as friendly as Dominicana womens
    a. Example you can't just walk up to the average pretty girl in Caracas and say you want to bang and be banging in an hour takes a lil more effort but very possible
    5. Less *****s per capita

    Here is my overall opinion,

If you would like a change of pace Cararacs is much cleaner and the cities services are much better as the [people are generally more educated and their is a larger upper class than in S.D.. Although I love Mullato women the women in Caracas are definately better looking per capita. The prostitution scene is a better than sdq they have 5 SOLID clubs Angelus 100 GIRLS Divas 40 GIRLS Morrisons 25 GIRLS , Magnifique 25 GIRLS and Saxons 25 GIRLS all about the same prices as Remington Casa Modelo, Casa Teresa Blue House JASSIES AND SUTRAS AND THE MANSION BUT THE QUALITY IS BETTER. tHE GIRSL HAVE NICE FLAT STOMACHS AND YOU WILL VIRTUALLY SEE NO GIRLS WITH RIPPED UP STOMACHS WORKING THE CLUBS AS YOU SEE ALL THE TIME IN THE DR FROM BAD c-sections. If you are looking for prostitues then CCS Kills SDQ but if you are looking for normal beautiful Latinasthat go to the local University, although the girls in Venezuela are pretier you can accomplish this goal much easier in the D.R.

btw Bogota colombia is the best place to monger in all of Latin America!
    Crazisunny69,

    Interesting post.

Can you please post the price structure in those Caracas clubs? Do they charge by the hour, TLN or what? I am curious about Caracas and would appreciate that info, post it in the Venezuela thread if you like, as that is where it belongs.

    Thanks,

    CrazySunny69,

Great observations! I would say your 1-5 list comparing CCS to SDQ is right on! No disagreements. I would add also, that your remarks about girls being more sophisticated also is a product of a considerably better education system in Venezuela.

You are one of the first people who I ever heard remark that the ob/gyn doctors in the DR are cannibals. You're right. I have met dozens of girls in the DR who have those brutal c-sect scars and when I make a remark about it, I'm always told "the doctor told me it was a very difficult birth"

If these doctors are to be believed than I guess around %50 of the births in the DR are difficult.

    cheers..................

    Circle,

Thanks for sharing your experiences for the board, and enjoy the rest of your trip!

Generally, I agree with your opinions and assesments. Costa Rica isn't terribly expensive but is overrated and the girls are very professional. All true.

My comments - I'm glad you liked Santo Domingo and I agree with what you said, but SDQ is only one side of the country. You can't judge the DR based on only SDQ because the north coast (Sosua. Cabarete, Puerto Plata) has its own personality and its own fans. I personally know 5 guys who LOVE the DR but can't stand SDQ. The DR for them is the north coast.

Second - You needed to spend more time in Caracas. The capital is the "hub" for women in Venezuela. I walked around the Las Mercedes section of CCS and everyday my eyes almost had a heart attack!! The women in CCS are incredible! Try to budget at least 8 days here next time you travel.

    cheers,

    Dr

    Hi guys,

I'm in Merida, Venezuela at the moment, but I want to give my report for SDQ before I forget too much. As I have been into 4 countries so far on this trip, I will make this a general comparison between what I have experienced so far. So in the order of my favorites, here I go.

    1) Dominican Repubic: I list the dominican republic first, for the main reason that santo domingo has the highest ratio of hot women to non hot women that I've seen yet. There are a few con artists and thieves, but overall it is safe and the people seem really happy and helpful (most of the time). It is a little more expensive than the other places I've been, but it has the best quality. It has several beaches to choose from, where you can have your beach, and eat your chica too (unlike playa jaco in costa rica, where they are even more expensive than in the capitol). Even in playa bavaro, where there are mostly tourists, at least there are hot european girls walking around topless. And I love watching them while sipping a fresh pina colada! In santo domingo, I even found a hotel la danae (on calle la danae #18, 238-5609) that was 5-10 minute walk from casinos jaragua and intercontinental (on the malecon) and cost only 900 pesos ($30). So that should be in anybody's budget. There was even a lot of action on the nearby street (independencia) for several blocks that I walked in either direction from where it intersects with pasteur. There was also a club on pasteur, 5 minutes from intercontinental called "the gin house" or "the girl house" depending on which sign you read. I had a look inside, and there were about 20 girls, several very attractive, and a couple I wanted to bring home to the US. I was quoted a price of 2000 pesos ($65) for all night, but I was too tired for take out.

So there are several places in the city to peacefully pick and choose a girl for a decent price (unlike in costa rica, where you have either cheap girls at lower quality and less selection, or higher quality expensive girls that think they are worth your entire bank account). Aside from all that, when I was coming into the country, I met some people from channel 5 on the airplane and they gave me a ride into the city on their bus for free. Then I met the daughter of a baseball player who drove me all over the city and showed me the malls and places to go out. She even payed for my entrance into some tourist sites (cause she has lots of money, unlike me). She also told me that the girls there want a green card to the US so bad that they will love you to death, or at least til the card comes. Thats fine with me, cause I don't want to buy, I just want the lease, anyway. So DR is in first place (so far).

    2) Venezuela: I list venezuela as second, because it is quite cheap and the girls here are going to take Ms. Universe. Granted, I didn't spend too much time in caracas, but in Merida, which is a university city, there are not as many hot girls as in santo domingo. However, when there is a pretty girl, she can be so much more beautiful than the other nationalities (in my opinion). There is just something about these dark haired girls with light skin that I love. Prices have risen quite a bit here in the last couple years, but mostly to keep up with the devaluation against other currencies. Overall, it is the cheapest country I've been too, (although the taxis at the airport are trying to get 120k or about $55 to caracas, I suggest taking the bus for $4) and overall, the people are genuinely the nicest (once out of caracas). People actually like to practice english with you (the few that can speak it) and invite you to hang out with them, without asking for anything. I even got a phone # from a really hot girl when I took the cable car up the mountain in merida. She was returning home that day, but told me to come to punto figo and she would teach me salsa dancing. So I think that being a gringo here is better than in the other countries I've been to so far. There are aspects here that are dangerous, but from what I hear, there isn't much reason to go to caracas anyway, and once out of that city, everything seems reasonably safe. The price of p4p has gone up in the "strip club, " but the price from the escort agencies which operate from a hotel are stiil very cheap. 40k bolivares (less than $20) for one hour or 60k (less than $30) for two. I have yet to try out the service, I'm hoping to later today. For more info, look out soon for my merida, venezuela report.

    3) Cost Rica: costa rica comes in next cause it is cheap (I had a girl-friendly hotel for less than $20 5-10 minutes wakling from blue marlin, check my san jose reports). There is a strong p4p scene, and there are some low cost options available. I also met an incredible semi pro there who blew my mind, sexually. It was more like having a girlfriend on call. However, overall, most independant girls (in gringo gulch) think too highly of themselves and have a horrible attitude. I don't care how hot a girl is, if she has a bad attitude, she isn't worth 2 pesos. I'd rather have an average girl with a good attitude myself (but I'd really like to have a 10 with a wonderfull attitude! ) the main beach here that has p4p action is simply horrible in terms of price to quality ratio, worse than in san jose. So you can't hang out on the beach and have cheap chicas too. So overall, costa rica doesn't rate too high on the list for me.

    4) Cuba: I'm sure that if you are fluent in spanish, and get out of havana central, you could have a good time with some semi pros. But if you don't speak spanish fluently, you are asking to be ripped off, everyday. Even if you are fluent, and you stay in central havana, you will still be conned. Go to havana for the history, not for mongering. After figuring out the exchange rate I was given (and I use a french bank with euros), cuba was possibly the most expensive place I've been (maybe 2nd, after DR). However the taxis are cheap, but considering people are making less than $15 a month, I think the price of traveling in that country is just stupid. And you can tell that all the money that is being made isn't going back to the people. And when somebody asks you for money, they don't ask for 25 or 50 cents like in the US. They ask to buy them milk which after the exchange rate is about $6 for a bag a powdered milk (obviously at the gringo store). That is about 50% of the monthly salary. Could you imagine a bum in the US asking for half a month of minimum wage? It's just ridiculous. Avoid cuba for mongering unless you have some secrets that I don't know about.

So that's all for now. I'm getting ready to head to colombia (I'm being either brave or stupid, cause I'm going by bus) so if you don't see any colombian reports from me in the next week or two, call my mom and tell her I've been kidnapped (ha, ha).

Also, please excuse typos or missing addresses and phone #s. I'm traveling and I don't carry that info with me at all times. If anybody wants any hotel info, or anything else, just send a pm.

    Adios

Then it is my bank. I retired 4000 pesos from an atm and my account was deducted by $147.05, so I received 27.5 pesos for each dollar, the official exchange that day was 31 pesos per dollar.

  10. #195
I agree. The ATM's give a fair rate of exchange and do not deduct 10%. Usually your home bank fees are the problem.

  11. #194
My Suntrust account has ALWAYS given me a good exchange and sometimes even better than exchange houses, and there is only a $2 fee for international transactions that I don't mind paying.

    Thanks!!!!

Excellent advice! I love you all! (In a brotherly way of course)

  13. #192

    Bad Bad...

Try not to use the ATM's, they pay around 10% less than official exchange rate and most banks also charge a commision for money exchange on atm's.

    Bad Bad,

I missed the last part of your post. No very little to NO action directly at the Hotel. I scoured that Hilton casino every night and not even a wink from anyone.

Now the casino at the Jaragua is an ENTIRELY different story! 7 nights a week, from 8pm to 3am, between 15-20 girls trolling the slot machine area looking for someone like YOU!

They aren't hard to find, don't worry - one night a girl at the Jaragua stepped out in front of me while I was doing the "walkaround". She grabbed my arm and said (in English) " hello cutie, do you like me? I like you!"

    I'd call that pretty direct.............

Any action to be picked up right at those hotels or do I need to go out for take-out always?

    Thanks bros!!!
    Hi Bad Bad,

The Intercontinental and the Hilton ARE girl friendly, no issues. The Hilton is directly connected to the new "mega-mall" called the Malecon Center. There are two banks and atms already open inside. One ATM is literally 100 feet from the Hilton's entrance.

The Hotels both (I was at the Intercontinetal in February) will exchange pesos for dollars but not the other way around, and they both offer sub-par rates.

The cabbies will take you from the airport to any hotel for dollars but DON'T DO IT! Exchange your money first! This is because the cab drivers have about 2nd grade math skills - for example if the exchange rate is 32 to 1 they will quote you a price of 900 pesos ($28) to take you to the malecon/Ave Independencia are, but if you tell them "I'm sorry I don't have pesos how much would that be in dollars" They say "well lets say then $40."

Here's the play, at the Las Americas Airport you first go thru customs and then pick up your checked luggage. After that you will be ushered thru a line of locals and then to the airport exit. Here you will be mobbed by cabbies shouting prices and "tugging" at you. Keep walking to the right, make another right and walk right back thru the entrance and back into the airport. If you take the escalator up to the 2nd floor and make your first immediate right there is an exchange bank there. They give the standard rates and all they need is to see your passport.

Depending on your language skills, there is a cell phone store just before and right next to the bank. They exchange pesos for dollars also (at black market rates) but they kind of do it on the slide. I went in there two weeks ago and spoke with the guy at the front desk (of the cell phone store) showed him a wad of dollars and asked him "what's the price?" He exchanged $200 at 36 to 1.

The bank was paying 31.25 to 1. That little scam got me an extra 1000rdp and a free cab ride to my hotel!

    cheers,
    FORD
