First, thanks for all the knowledge you guys put into this-true gold! My co-worker says the same thing. He said just rent a car and go-any and everywhere. I just don't want to get fleeced with a "Dominican tax" on top of full coverage. They got me at the airport years ago. A kings ransom. Do you know any honest and good rental spots in the capital, or just overall. I know by this point you rent from a smaller place due to your experience. Any bit helps-thanks.
This would be great! I'm also flying in next month to SDQ and flying out of SDQ. I have a reservation for a small car from national rent a car with a a quote for $970 for 8 days, which is just ridiculous. I guess they are forcing tourists to get all kinds of coverage for a rental. I am also planning on making another reservation with a different company as when I went there last year with a reservation, the company I booked with had no rentals available and was forced to rent a car the same day with no reservation from a different company and was fleeced.
Yep. I have been renting a car and driving all around the country since my 4th time there about 17 years ago. I can not longer see myself there without access to a vehicle because I move around like the wind.

Flights into POP are ridiculous. Santiago is much closer than Santo Domingo.
More ridiculous is that the Spirit airlines flights in and from Santiago arrive / depart at 2-3 am in the morning. You either stay awake all night or crash in Santiago.
I good evening everybody. I plan on taking a trip from Santo Domingo to Sosua next month, I was wonder if anybody has ever rented a car to do this trip. For some reason there was no good flights from my city to Sosua (puerto Plata) so Santo Domingo was the next option.

Google doesn't do anything with those coordinates either.
My map skills are minimum. I simply plug these coordinates into google maps and got "Google Maps can't find 18 d31 m12.8 and 69 d53 2. 7 W". I tried plugging this in a number of ways with the same result.
A street address (or even the name of the nail place) would help those of us who are computationally challenged!
Send me a message and I can get you better directions. Check out the original post for names, names of streets etc. Just a disclaimer. This isn't the type of nail place you will find at plaza noli. Closer to more tourist activities. Closer to police etc. Good for cheap manicure / pedicure / beer. Prices posted in original post.
This is not a surprising response, except it is so parsimonious in content that I cannot tell if you have actually done this, or have tried and failed to bring a chica to Europe. When you say "Job Letter", you mean a job in the DR? Everything else is easy to arrange.
Also, I have been to a brothel in Malaga called Scandalo several times (its great, by the way). There are many Dominicanas there. How did they get to Spain?
Not many transatlantic cruises anymore, I suspect they took a commercial flight.
But all sarcasm aside, I suggest that you make contact with an attorney that handles immigration issues for Dominicans who want visas for other countries. If you asked me how do you get a visa for a chica to visit the United States of America wouldn't know and I spent most of my life living there.

I have fallen in lust with a 19 yo chica (literally 1/3 my age) and would love to take her to Europe. She just got a passport, but I realize that unlike Brazilian girls (whom I have taken to Europe on many occasions) Dominicans need a schengen visa prior to leaving the DR to enter the EU.
Needless to say, my under educated and unemployed chica would be totally dependent on my support, which is not a problem for me. The Brazilians just show their money to the border agent (I give them 100 euros per day in advance) when they land in Europe, and travel insurance, and they are in.
Does anyone have experience getting a schengen visa? What does my chica need to show when she goes to the Spanish or French embassy?
Thanks.
P.S. I have met many Dominicanas in the brothels of Spain, so it cannot be impossible!

I have been mongering in Sto Domingo for 15 years and yet I have no idea what this place is. Is it a Plaza with street girls?, a casa?, a massage place?, a bar?
You are overthinking it. It is just a corner with shops. Barber, salon, nails, etc. But you can walk into a place and go in the back room with one of the chicks that work there. Damn the 2000 or 2500. I have never had a problem bargaining for 500 pesos there. I would say if you must then pay 1000.
If you walk out of the side entrance of Grands and go left, you enter Plaza Noli at the corner. It is the same block and I think the buildings are connected together on the outside. Here is a picture from google.

Nah, it is at 18 d31 m12.8's and, 69 d53 m12.7's W.
It did something with coordinates when I uploaded the last post.
These girls could also connect you with women. They know pros / freelancers / semi-pros / LOL whatever you want to call it.
Wouldn't recommend to someone with 0 spanish, 0 negotiation skills / prior experience. Unless just looking for presidentes and manicure / pedicure or to get your hair washed (if you got locs or a man bun or something). Oh, and empanadas.
I visited Santo Domingo this week. Great session with chicas all around. Lots of BBJTCIM for 2500 to 3 mil pesos for an hour or two. /////
Around early afternoon hop in an uber to Plaza Noli. Ah, nice today there are one or two new chicas. I point to the cutest one, and say, vamos. Let's go. We enter a small ass room. Tell her exactly what I want, for how long, and tell her the price. All the places I mention in this report are economical, with no hassle, chicas BBBJ deepthroat CIM for $2000 to 2500 pesos or much less. Hehe.///

From your description, it is in the Zona Colonial, but where? Afternoons are hard to fill with chicas in La Capital, and I would greatly love to learn.
Trust me brother, it is. More than I have time for. And personally I think that any man that comes to the Dominican Republic with a functioning dick and a currency they can exchange for DOP here, can have a good time. And if they don't, well then it was their own damn fault.
