It looks like everybody has a different approach to this issue. I tell them nicely I cannot send any money until we meet. We meet first then they get their money. I tell them also I give them the gift they ask for when we meet. I buy a gift in excellent condition on craigslist, amazon or eBay if the gift request is expensive. A non-pro met me at airport once and came with me to hotel. She said she cannot do it after chatting for a while. I said OK since there is always next time. She had excellent body and I had strong desire to take care of business. Sometimes being patient pays off. Later she sent me a message to ask for money. I usually contact a couple of dozen girls by internet before my trips. Last time a girl asked 18,000 pesos for a 32 inch flat screen tv. Another asked for a Samsung Note.
