Straight man in the arena trip report!

This is an excellent lesson. A week before you arrive. With two back up plans in place. You will have more than you can handle each day. Unlike others, I find Tinder, Tagged, Skokka and Chiviricas to be all solid. I have made connection with some solid non-pros off of both Tinder and Tagged. And both Skokka and Chiviricas have been a good source of professionals. But as they say, to each their own.

I have been using Tinder and Sokkha for the last 10 days to get ready for my trip next week. I told all of them after we agreed on the price that I had to go to Puerto Plata and I will contact them once I am back in town. For my 5 days trip I think I can pull one or 2 girls for sokkha.

Day 2 - Texted about 10 girls off of skokka and got about 3 responses. I do like 'hot' women so my prices are typically higher than what can be found if you have lower expectations. Prices ranged from $150 for 1 hour to $200 for 2 hours and up. Due to the limited responses and tight schedule, I just decided to hit up Spa Odisea. On the way out, they showed me the line up of the other girls, there were about 5 others, none of which did much for me. Maybe 5's and 6's, although the others did smile and a couple seemed friendly unlike Kimberly. I would probably not repeat. For 2,500 pesos, it's cheap by American standards, but cheap doesn't mean it's worth it.

I was last in Santo Domingo last year in July when they had the Covid lockdown at 6 pm It was a good first trip and I got the lay of the land even though I didn't enjoy as much with the curfew. I stayed at Hotel Palacio for 6 days. I liked it there. The rooms were a little dated and not modern but it was still comfortable. The hotel staff was great and having girls come up to your room was easy with no issues. I thought about AirBNB but for some reason I do like the hotel stays. I will be staying at Hotel Palacio again next month for another 6 day trip this time with no curfew. Before I visited I did go on Dominican Cupid and Tinder to get a few feelers out there. Got alot of likes on Tinder but only one panned out. Now I'm 53 years old and not the spring chicken I used to be but still active. For me it wasn't about quantity but quality. Saturday, I had set a meet-up with a cutie from DC; however, phones have some impressive photo-enhancing capabilities these days, gentlemen. I don't think the language barrier should detour people from coming and checking out the DR. With today's technology, translator apps, and the open and welcoming culture of the Dominican people. It's been a very pleasurable and easy experience. The restaurants I've been to have been just fantastic, the service and quality of meals are outstanding thus far. All it takes is a little patience, compassion, and kindness to get by. I guess if you focus on not being an asshole demanding gringo, you'll be fine.

Excellent report enjoyed reading and understanding your report. SD can be a lot of work but if you do pre trip planning you can have a ball. 6 k is nothing if the girl is making you happy. Sport fucking is not easy in SD. I usually keep girls I like a couple of days. The sex seems to get better. Tinder and Skokka are a crao shoot. I prefer the semi-pros. Girls who have jobs and are trying to make some extra cake. They are less hardcore and will provide GFE if you want it. If you find a good Uber drive keep his number and build a rapport it will make your life a lot easier. Relationships with girls you like will save you money and frustration. If you want good and easy sport fucking check out Sosua. You will have more options then you can handle. One more suggestion when you book your Airbnb option for gym and pool. Airport Arrival. Landed about 11:15 in Santo Domingo airport, was through customs in 10 minutes. Got outside the airport and ordered an Uber. After I ordered it, the driver texted me and asked me where I was going. I told him and he said that due to the high gas prices, they he was not willing to take me for the price in the app and wanted me to pay him $30. I said 'no acepto' and he cancelled the ride. This happened 3 more times. Finally the 5th driver assigned to me, picked me up and took me to my AirBnB. I think the Uber charge was about $15 - $20. So almost half of what the other drivers were trying to collect. All this said, it does amaze me how cheap Uber is here and I don't know how they make any money with high gas prices and low fares.

Stayed in an area of Santo Domingo called Piantini. Nice area with many restaurants, nearby super markets, however, depending on where your building is and what side of the building you're on, traffic noise could be a problem. I would recommend the neighborhood, but possibly finding a building off of a main street, or at least don't face the main streets here.

For a phone, I just used the Verizon Travel Pass for $10 per day. For longer trips, I would probably get a local SIM card.

Pre-Trip. I did use Bumble and Tinder before the trip to try to line up some dates or female tour guides. I did meet a nice woman on Bumble, we will call her Daya. She and I texted a bit for about 2 weeks before my trip. Professional Dominican woman with good job and college education. She helped me with the planning of where to stay and a few ideas of things to do.

Day 1 - I worked from the AirBnB all day then Daya came to my apartment that evening and we went to a nice, quaint Italian restaurant less than a block away. After dinner we went back to the Air BnB and had some wine on the balcony (traffic had died down by now and it was somewhat quiet out) and enjoyed the wine and moved inside and enjoyed each other in the bedroom.

If you see the sign for Coplan Plaza, the building is right behind the wall with the sign.

Walked in and was taken to a room. Kimberly walked in and didn't really say a word. I'm not going to say she had attitude, but she definitely didn't have any enthusiasm. Many of the ads will tell you on the sites if they are independent or an agency. Her ad didn't say either, but it seemed like I was chatting with her, so was funny to find out otherwise. She told me that she could see me again for a discounted rate. Oh, I had paid her $6 M DP. If I contacted her or saw any of her friends it would be $5 M DP. That seemed like a win-win. She showed me some pics of her friends, but I didn't find any of them to be my type. I thought about repeating with her, but our chemistry wasn't that great to repeat. She did give me her direct number and said she'd send more pics of more friends later, but I never heard from her, nor did I reach out to her.

Later on in the day, I did some more research on Chiviricas and texted about 3 or 4 other girls of which 2 did respond. Ended up lining up a date for the morning of Day 4.

That afternoon, Dayah came over, and we went to Zona Colonial, did a quick tour of the cigar factory there, which was very interesting. We then went to a cafe called Cafe Barista, which the walls are from the ruins from the 1500's, so very cool atmosphere. We then took an Uber to the Malecon. I don't think we went to the part where everyone says to go, because we didn't see all the restaurants that you hear about. Instead we saw many casinos and hotels. Still was a nice walk as the sun was going down. From there we went back to Piantini and got some pizza at a nice Italian joint.

Day 4 - The date that was scheduled for 10 am on day 4, didn't return any of my messages until about 10:40 as I was scrambling for a plan be. She said she was going to shower and would be on her way. When she arrived, I was thoroughly impressed. Dressed to impress without being overly sexy. Some girls dress like they are 'working', others dress like they are going to the office to work. This girl was the latter, high heels, tight jeans and a beautiful bright yellow blouse, hair done nicely and the perfect amount of makeup. She had no rules and we had a wonderful time. I wish I had met her earlier on in my trip, I would probably have seen her another time or two. She had friends that she said she could introduce me to and also said they play together if I was ever interested in a threesome. Her fee was $4 k DP. I know I'm going to get flack for this, but after her amazing performance and hearing her story, I gave her $6 k DP.

In the afternoon Dayah came over, we hung out and one thing may have lead to another.

Day 5 - Time to go back to reality. I had scheduled an Uber the prior night since my flight was early. Of course, I get the notification that the Uber driver had sent me a message. I knew instantly what it was asking. Long story short, since I had an early flight and I figured other Uber drivers may be limited, I did negotiate with him a fare of $1,500 DP from Piantini to the airport. I probably could've gotten a little cheaper, but these are good, hard working people down here and he seemed to be a stand-up, honest guy, so I obliged.

I travel solo quite a bit for these kinds of adventures. It's the first time I had used Bumble to try to meet regular women here and the time I spent with Dayah was really great. I learned a lot more about about the culture here and went to other places that I probably wouldn't have gone to if I hadn't had her with me or her recommendations.
