Posts: 173So I just booked a trip to Santo Domingo in September. Now am looking for a good area to stay that is lively and safe. Does anyone know if any of the marriott chain hotels are guest friendly?

Returned to StoDom after hanging out 2 days in BC (April). I got a Airbnb around the corner from Villar Hermanos. I was so happy the owner allowed me to checkin 2 hours early; enjoyed this location. I walked to El Conde to pick up a few things. Massage place is open on the corner and you'll get offers walking around. A buddy in the states wanted some expensive cigars and was able to find them at La Leyenda del Cogarro. I always deal with the owner / manager at the location; repeat customer so service is always great! They sell beer here but it's cheaper at National supermarket. They don't mind if you grab a seat, respectfully. There's a small chocolate factory experience en ZC and a cool photo-op bar / restaurant La Casa del Ron.
Went back to GBP in the evening. More quantity but the same quality. Stopped by Tabu and a colmado I like to visit.
I crossed paths with a first time visitor from the states at Grand's Cafeteria. Tried to give him quick 101 instructions. I'the just say here (repeated many times before) - buy a cell phone for your travels and leave your domestic phone in your hotel / Airbnb safe / locked suit case. Make a copy of your passport and leave your wallet / passport in your hotel / Airbnb safe / locked suit case. It's cool to dress neat / modem but try not to standout / draw too much unwanted attention if you're walking around during the day. It can be unavoidable but try. Hydrate; it's hot and humid in the DR. Be mindful of people, surroundings and your barrings! It's great to meet new people and make connections, just be cautious. I like exchanging WhatsApp info with people especially because I'm always curious about new venues / places to go, etc; but if those conversations become a novella I end it immediately.
For some reason the traffic wasn't too bad one time I had to drive above Ave 27 de Febrero to visit friends. That's not the norm for rush hours.
I had a great credit card that didn't charge international fees / conversion and used it a lot this trip.
I have a good connection at Enterprise rental car if you can't seem to get a better deal / price elsewhere.
If you want a more active walking sightsee experience during the day try Avenida Juan Pablo Duarte between Mexico and 27 de Febrero. Local experience.
It's ok be selfish when visiting, it's your time and money!

Visas are not required for visits shorter than 30 days. Visit the Embassy of the Dominican Republic website for current visa information.
All visitors to the Dominican Republic are charged a $10 tourist card fee that is incorporated into airline charges. Cruise passengers must obtain a tourist card if they are disembarking for longer than 24 hours. Once used, the card allows for stays up to 30 days but can be extended at the General Directorate of Migration in Santo Domingo.

Casa Rojas is 24 x7 but goddamn chicas won't open the front gate until at least 11 am or late afternoon on Sundays. Their asses are all snoring, sleeping off from a continuous night of sex orgies with clients.
I usually take two and three new chicas for the first hour session. After an hour of fun, Keep the high performers for an additional hour, kick out the pain in the ass, low performers.
The Perallon Relax massage is open on Sundays afternoon.
Mr E shared an great report and experiences there. Better to wassap them first for Sunday hours.
Casa Teresa Piano Bar supposed to be 24 x7, it's WAY expensive, it's covered everything, it's tourist trap house for gringos using google translate on their phone and paying by credit cardwhy'all been warned.

Can you guys help me out and share contacts of a Latinas preferably with bolts on but not fat please. I will greatly appreciate it!

I would keep in mind that this was many years ago, but I doubt the infrastructure is any better. They do have shows at night and plenty of water sports, but it was a disappointment. My girl, who was from Santiago, was not as unhappy (except for the check out, which pissed everyone off).
Trip Advisor gives it a good rating, but a few people point out that the infrastructure is problematic and that they nickle and dime their customers.
BTW: I have never found a GF place in JD, despite a lot of effort except for Casa Hemingway. But if bringing in extra chicas is not necessary, it might be OK for you.
Check out very very early!

Posts: 269Hotels in Sto Domingo with attractive housekeepers
I am interested in trying to get conquer a housekeeper. It is a bucket list thing. It's a little perverse, I know, but I do hope to move into this with a little alacrity and not make a fool of myself.
I have read that some guys sit in their rooms waiting for the chicas to come in jerking off and somehow think this is a subtle proposition. I, on the other hand, hang around the room doing work, but leave a $50 bill on the counter and see if the chica picks it up while remaining in my view.
This approach worked once, but in the end, we did not have sex because the girl did not really turn me on. I told her to keep her bill and take off.
I stay at the Palacio on Duarte, where the house keepers are pretty old an ugly. Indeed, they had a gorgeous barmaid for about a month, and she was clearly interested in fun. But she suddenly disappeared. Either she hooked a good guy or got fired (one needs to be EXTRAORDINARILY careful not to get the girl into trouble).
Any recommendations for a hotel with more attractive women?
P.S. About a decade ago, a spectacular girl in Manila came in to check my minibar. It was 15 minutes of great fun. She did not charge me a penny (I think she was playing the long game). I should have stayed in Manila another few days, but I was off the next day before dawn.
