El Ejecutivo and VIP Gentleman was the same place. It's closed along with the others. No big loss with Ejecutivo / VIP. It passed its peak years ago. The condition of the rooms and plumbing started to make GBP seem like a luxury alternative. It had a good 14 year run. A lot of us can remember great times there. Life goes on.

I read in dominican online newspapers that the place was closed a couple of months ago. Last week I read that the police also closed La Fragancia bar, Pink Pony bar, El Gallero bar. Other places closed during this year were Barberia Spa in Malecon Center, El Ejecutivo in Alma Rosa, and Black Diamonds in San Pedro de Macoris.

Myself and a couple of fellow mongers visited the VIP gentlemen club in las Americas calle marginal and it is closed. Can someone confirm if they are out of business or happened to be closed only for today?

Dang so true, I experience this almost every time I take a colombian out and about, it is in their DNA that they are ingrained to think that the gringo is the be all end all to the whole family and even friends of friends of family.

Found a new spot down near hotel Catalonia, 2 streets up from the malecón. Place wasn't bad, just looked like someone's apartment. A group of girls were arrested in LOS Alcarrizos. The girls met a guy in a Sport bar of the area, they were drinking together but the girls ordered too much drinks during the night, in excess of $400 US. Suddenly the guy went to the bathroom and never returned, leaving the girls with the bill. They do not have any money so they were arrested.

I lived a similar situation a decade ago but I am not a bad guy like this one, enjoying the night with the girls and then disappearing. I met this girl from a website that currently do not exist. I was just in SD for carnival hanging with BQ Ribs and I think there are so many possibilities in SD that I also don't see a use for dating sites once you can maneuver there. I have been to the clubs you mentioned and unless you can speak good Spanish and Latin dance, your are at a disadvantage. But as you say the club scene is hot in SD. It was five of us posted up on the malecon enjoying the carnival drinking rum with the grill going and girls were just thrilled to sit and hangout. Guys guys guys. Come on we are all grown ups. We don't need to do all this name calling and sidelining from the main topic. It would be good if we keep the argument geared towards the mongering and educating the newbies about Santo Domingo rather than just taking out personal revenge and old beef on this forum. We are not high school kids that form groups and single out on a person. If someone has trouble with me paying more, just let me know. I will try to do better next time or just don't post in the forum whenever I spent more than 200 $. I am sure everyone that I have seen arguing are well verse in the mongering in Santo Domingo and popular monger destinations.

P. S: For future mongers and those who going to post I think its my mistake to post about the 2 girls for 700. The Santo Domingo forum has a cap of 10,000 pesos for all night. Anything posted above that. Get ready to be ridiculed or criticized.

Anyhow guys, I am really thankful and appreciate for the wealth of knowledge I had obtained from ISG forums and members of various countries. Its time for me to focus on my regular work. I will be back to the mongering scene and Santo Domingo on April 20 to late July. Anyone who would like to monger together or meet up for a beer during those time. PM me.
