That pretty much sums up my overall opinion of Sosua. Yes. I saw about a dozen women here and with the exception of two, I paid between $50-70. For those 9-10, I actually felt I was have done better staying at home and beating off.

Sosua is very unpredictable. First time I went there for 7 days, I cut short my trip to 5 days because it was completely dead. Even streets and restaurants were dead after 9 pm. Luckily on the last day of my trip I met two women exactly of my choice and they were both non working girls. That gave me an initiative to come back for a second trip. Had fun with these two girls and they introduced me to 2 other house wife's. This trip worked out very well. Did not encounter any street girl or anyone from any bars. Planning my third trip this month. Already have these 4 lined up and hoping to get introduced to more.

I was literally lucky to find these women, otherwise I would have never repeated there.

So it all depends on personal preference. The majority of street girls are not my preferred but there are really some good ones which are hard to get hold off as they are super busy. Again they are pricey but well worth it.

I personally feel it all depends on if you can get hold of your preferred ones or not. One thing is that the house wives always have demand for something or other but I had a negative answer to everything. Once you start sending them money it never ends, so better never even start doing so.

Two, I took to a nice restaurant bought the dinner and drinks (her share set me back a whopping $30-40) and paid her about $100. Those were by far my best experiences. Though I hate to use the term. 95% of the working girls here are simply ratchet (I'm old, the term used to be ghetto). I grew my broke ass up in Oakland, worked my ass off, got three degrees raised two daughters as a single dad and now own a successful business. I've left all that shit behind.

This place is like walking down East 14th Street on a Saturday night (without the shootings). I like slutty women, I don't like trashy women. I've been there, done that.

My Peru experience, we went dancing made out all night at the discotecas everyone knew but me and no one said a word. Back in the room it was a shock. We went to a short-term hotel, so I just got dressed and left. I just want to ensure that was a once in a lifetime experience.

I'm probably the most gay friendly person in the world now, because of it. I was someplace where no one knew me, no one but me would have known and just the thought grossed me out. I even found a strip club. 300 pesos cover. But I was completely clueless on what to tip. I was doing hundreds, but realized it was a like $1. 70. That's more than at home.

I had 4 women try and rob me on Thursday. They surrounded me and started grabbing at me. I put hand on my wallet and the other on my phone (in my pockets) and pushed past them. Last night, they tried the same thing. On the main drag. I walked to a darker area and they ran up behind me and tried the same thing. I had to get a tiny bit physical (NEVER lay your hands on a woman here) but it came close as they weren't backing off.

At 3 am, I had a offer of 1500 and she'd let me come in her mouth or 2000 and she'd let me come in her ass. I spent a few minutes looking at her closely, she was probably in her 30's and reasonable looking. Too reasonable looking for offering ass at 2000. I already had my "Crying Game" experience in Peru and have zero desire to pull down some woman's pants and find a dick. The fact that she didn't mention pussy at all was what had me walk away.

One place, I couldn't tell you the name of we took a cab and I have absolutely no clue where I was at. For the others,to make it simple, go down Pedro Clisante, in the opposite direction from the Strip. Smileys is the first one you want to look at. Its mainly lesbian Haitians and expats. There is always music and dancing and the lesbians will dance with you. If you've never been to a gay bar, be respectful most of them appear to have girlfriends. You probably don't want to get into a fight there. After Smiley's for about half a mile there are about 6-8 places that do not cater to Americans. Except for the Strip Club which is inside the "Adult" resort. The last one is NYC drink. If you're walking absolutely do not go past there. Also, there is a stretch of about 100 yards on that strip that you need to watch yourself on (if you're walking). It looks a little darker than normal, but I immediately noticed the Dominicans passing through moved from the sidewalk to the middle of the street.

In Puerto Plata, there is good nightlife on the Malecon..do not call it the maricon like I accidentally did.

You are very true. If you do anything without doing your homework first then you are bound to be scammed. As much as one spends time to find a suitable chica, this should also be a priority. Scammers are everywhere. You go to NY and people are selling fake perfumes etc on street at havoc prices. Those know the reality will never buy there and some fell prey to those scams.

So it is important that one should do their home work before you go there.

I've been in several countries where (I don't know how it's done), they rigged the calculator to show the wrong amount and they give that to you. I've found that the best way to do it is simply use the damn cash machine. Currently, I bring about $1000 US cash for an emergency (that I keep well hidden) and the use the cash machine to get local money.

I sort of feel like a little btch now because I complained about my issues here and a local took me out last night (well, I paid, but you get the idea). Danced my ass off, met non hookers / semi pros that were actually able to pretend they were interested in more than my wallet. 23 year old guy who has been here in Sosua for over a week now. I've had some good experiences but after being here in sosua for over a week I did notice some small issues. Basically, if you want to stay here more than a week you will definitely need a car otherwise you will get bored. By the 4th day of being here I got tired of having to walk around everywhere and just started only going out to eat for lunch and ordering food online on the food delivery app for dinner. Have met some great expats and gained important knowledge from them.

The experience with the chicas was way better than my 1st trip but idk I've realized Sosua isn't a long term solution to my situation. Sosua is great for quick trips but if you feel like you need something more fullfilling long term it's probably not for you. The chicas were great but I think not being able to connect with them on emotional level much due to the language barrier can make things with them just feel strictly physical and not emotional at all which can leave to a somewhat empty feeling (at least for me).


At the end of the day though Im so glad I did this trip. The experience I had here would never ever be possible in the states due to p4p being illegal and 100x more expensive.

Sosua is a very small place I could never spend that much time there no wonder you got tired of it. I love the place but 5 days is all I need. By after 3 day of hard fucking I start to run out of bullets and done the good places to eat. I am not sure of any location where 11 days is not to long of a stay. I am sure the board may have some suggestions.

I've been here in sosua now for almost 9 days and I too am ready to leave. The problem is the the big predicament I have. As you know, I'm 23 and live a completely sexless life in the US due to how bad the dating scene is. I'm tired of Sosua but I'm not looking forward to returning back to my sexless life in the states.
