For economy accommodations I stay at Maison Gartreaux in Gascue (it's behind the Crowne Paza on the Malecon). Clean, quiet, breakfast around $30/ night. Not the best of neighborhoods but I've never had any trouble. Fifteen minute walk to Colonial Zone. Sometimes I splurge and stay at Napolitano for the great view and swimming pool but it's $100/ night. I'm pretty sure every place in DR is guest friendly.

Where should I stay in Santo Domingo? I'm looking for a place that's guest friendly and clean. I noted there are three Marriott properties in SD. Are they guest friendly?

I am making a return visit the end of August and was thinking of trying Air BnB. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good place to stay from SD to La Romana? I would like to find something that is within walking distance to beach, malls, supermarket.

I recently stayed at the embassy suites in SD. I suggest calling the hotels and asking, that's what I did and was told it was a 3 o dollar guest fee which they waved due to my level in their rewards program.

Segazona is on the end of el conde near the old Dennys. I'm hooked. A DJ playing house music and 2-4-1 drinks from 5 pm to 8 pm. The girls are friendly and having a good time. Guys you can easily pull from here if you aren't shy.

Yes, I happened to be there with a date and asked the waitress if she could tell me the name of the band that was playing such great music on the outdoor speakers. She returned with a copy of the CD to my amazement and did not ask for any money. Naturally, I tipped her well.

That's it, went back last night again, not as busy as Sunday night. Another very nice spot is "Duo" on the other end right before Pacos. Beautiful place, watched the game there last night. Someone put major money in this place but it's never crowded, probably because it's on the wrong end of El Conde. A little expensive also but the place is all class.

Had a wonderful day yesterday hanging with the expats at Chili's in blue mall. They have an outside lounge area with TVs and couches for us to watch the basketball finals. This is the hangout spot in Piantini. Guys if you want an upscale experience with gorgeous girls, go there. Dominicans here have money, so don't go there acting like a privileged American.

I left about 9:30 PM and caught a uber back to Boca chica for 937 pesos. Normally that ride is 500-600 pesos but because it had gotten late there was a surcharge. Met three gorgeous girls separately at Segazona. One was a international business student almost 6 feet tall and spoke good English. The other girl was 24 yo with school teacher glasses so we traded wassap numbers. And the third girl was married and had no problem with me buying her a drink and enjoying her company. Man I love this spot, so check it out fellas.

Stayed at Maison Gartreaux in Gascue, a two star with low price and nice staff. About a fifteen minute walk to Colonial Zone. Saw most of my regulars except the Venezuelan Vanilla flavored 36 DDD who has sadly disappeared. Maybe she went back to Venezuela with her new baby. I don't do the casas because it's cheaper and better to have them come to your hotel room IMO. All of the eight girls I do range from 22 years old to 31, cup size 38 DD to 46 DD (with two 42 DDDs) met online via Dominican Cupid or referrals from a good buddy who shall remain anonymous.
