Definitely Santo Domingo. We have the casas since price is not a problem for you. Go there and have a drink but ask the price first. Talk to the manager to ask his recommendation. This is just part of the setup to be cool with him to exchange wassap numbers so he can deliver special orders. We have several casas from GBP to Oasis and others.

Just came back from the DR I was at gbp Friday night we where 3 guys and 6 girls I had an hour with this sexy girl from moca at least that what she said firm titties and bubble butts. I have done almost the entire island but I would say its not for everyone. I'm a backpacker that travel and stay between 2 or 4 weeks on the island hopping from town to town every day or 2 exploring the island so I have no problem dealing with cheap basic hotels, or sleep a night or two in a cabana or even in a local family house, I can handle most of the local food and transportation, and I love to dance (salsa, meringue, bachata) and can communicate in Spanish. If you don't have problem with any of the above mentioned and you love to experience the authentic DR then yes its worth it. As for mongering I have visited tons of local nightclub and brothels all over the island that most foreigners don't visit often which means cheap pretty girls that has not been spoiled by gringos.

Rental Car – I always use my credit card and the Collision Damage Waiver the card offers (nothing new). I print my rental car reservation with the details and the CDW to avoid any issues when I'm picking up the car. When I was picking up my car this visit a person in front of me had no idea what he was doing and the agency was taking advantage of him. I decided to step in and help so I could go about my business.

Accommodations – Stayed at an Airbnb in Gazcue. Nice two bed room with covered parking. Was a little bothered when I asked the host for an early check-in; the reply was its not allowed. Then when I arrived at the check-in time, the room was still being cleaned. Besides that, I'm a light sleeper and the morning traffic noise was disruptive.

Dining – Maraca, nice place as mentioned below. Food was decent, has a bar, quite a few people take fotos at the place as seen on social media. El Chef, nothing noteworthy. Adrian Tropical. Malecon, normal vibe, always stop here for food or a drink or just relax and listen to the ocean. Food Inc. – nice experience, it was on my to-do list for this trip. Villar Hermanos, I love this place and the place next door. I could probably eat here every day when I'm in the capital, which I usually do.

Social Activity – Stopped by the pool hall on Parque Eugenio María de Hosto for a few nights. They stay open late for drinks and was showing the baseball playoffs, nothing else special about this place. El Conde, didn't seem as busy during the afternoons as I have seen prior to COVID, though I was visiting during the week and not the weekend. I always pick up a few local cigars on El Conde. I did see a cigar shop on Ave Mella but didn't purchase anything. The casa de cambio on El Conde was convenient but not the best rate. Walked up Ave Duarte from Ave Mexico to Expreso 27. Mostly people watching and a little shopping. The La Duarte con Paris area is being remolded. Went to LOS Tres Ojos, nice experience / something to do; no need for a tour guide. I did see some activity on Ave Independencia at night.

COVID Test - $4,100 pesos. Received results in a few hours. Try to complete the eticket. Migracion. Gob. Do in advance. I contacted my health insurance company and they will reimburse me the $4,100.

Transportation – I mostly drove but did use Uber also. Yes, traffic during the day can be difficult. The day I was driving to El Chef I realized why I no longer stay above Expreso 27 when I visit, it just seems to me the traffic is worse.

I was traveling with family so not much else to share.

6th trip to Santo Domingo. Stayed in the same Air be&be. Located across from Plaza Llama (supermarket) in Bella Vista. I like the place. It has concierge but also has a gate system that you can just let your regulars in. The roof top pool is also nice.

The spa express in the airport that was mentioned for a BJ isn't there anymore. Que triste.

Banreservas ATM rates were super solid with my Charles Schwab card.

Maraca-Very high end dinner (US prices) in the Colonial. A ton of local talent.

Taquito Norteno. Mid range mexican restauarant in Bella Vista. Talent was off the hook on Saturday night. Service was brutally slow though. Food A+.

I tried getting my E SIM card going with a QR code but the dumbinicans looked at me like I was from another planet. Anyone have luck with that? What store?

Spa Odisea-I had been a few years ago and it was just ok. My buddy who was traveling with me checked it out and raved about his experience so we both went back and had the double masseuse massage. I had Thalis, a hot hatiana with a bubble booty and Luna, a very sexual dominicana. Showered together, Nuru gel massage, multiple pops, but sex is not on the menu. Then a shower at the end. 3900 DOP. They have other options as well, simply whatsapp the number on google for the menu and for an appt, which they recommend.

Perallon Relax Spa. I checked this place out. Not easy to find but mamasan will send you a map via whatsapp. Everything is on the menu here but only 3 chicas to choose from. I went with the ok massage and BBBJ. 2000 DOP. Girls looked ok.

Pedidosya is the app to order food to your place. Hadn't seen that mentioned before but my buddy used it and said it was smooth and the food delivered was still hot.

My buddy used Seeking and had a mixed bag of experience. One top line chica and two that were kinda unaware what seeking was all about. Basically they were long term investments and it wasnt going to work out on a short term trip. Chicas wanted more than upward of $200 for FS.

I personally stuck to my regular group of girls and one Civi, not wanting to deal with any drama or crappy service. $60 each. Never a mention of time or money. Easy and enjoyable. The civilian chica just enjoyed dining out.

Euphoria and Paris Bar and Lounge had some screaming talent. Bring your Spanish A game if you want to pull. One Colombiana I met at Paris mentioned there is a Hotel Club opened until 5 am every night at the W&P hotel in Bella Vista. We tried to go one night but the wait at 1 am was too long to get in.
