You have a healthy imagination. I say this because Santiago is the country's second largest city yet you imagine you can describe all the women there as if they are the same. You describe them as upscale and some of them are, but some of the country's most desperate ghettos are in Santiago. I's hard to generalize.

No they won't Sir. You really don't understand Santiago women very much. Those aren't Sosua tricks who might come to you (if they know you previously). I'm moving there soon and have been spending more time in Santiago than I let this board know. Santiago has Dominican dudes with money so the girls usually don't go on a weekend hunt looking for gringos in other cities. The exception is the Santiago girls who rent a car and come to Sosua on Fridays and Saturdays to turn multiple tricks for top dollar. But to go all the way to SD on a bus is rare. Even if you send 100 usd she will just keep your money and make up an excuse for not coming.

Here's what I've learned:

Santiago girls don't like SD and SD girls don't like Santiago girls. If you do see a Santiago girl in SD, she is probably under the guidance of a pimp or security for her protection. Santiago girls usually are light skinned (almost white), long pretty hair, and maybe green eyes. She has a prissy quality. SD girls have more of a big city, street edge which conflicts with the girls from Santiago prissiness...

I do not know what people imply with "inaccessible women" from Santiago. There are many barrio women who are dark skinned. There are also many white skinned women who live in such barrios and these are typically available if you know how to schmooze, so color does not mean a thing.

I bumped into a young woman in Santiago, at a McDonald's, who spoke rather decent English and was a Med student at PUCMM; her dad came to pick her up, in a shiny Toyota 4 runner. I managed to get her phone number but the whole thing did not go anywhere. She also happened to have been a white skinned woman, much desired, as it appears, on this forum. If I were twenty years younger, it would be a different ball game but such women, unless one is fabulously rich, are beyond reach (at least for me) but the underlying issue is essentially a question of social class, perhaps also parity of age but certainly not of geography. In short these women (in Santiago or in SD) are no easier than college women in any town, USA, white or not.

It was you who said you found it hard to date local women in Santiago. I was just pointing out that the women he was talking about were already putting their asses on the World Wide Web, almost certainly in search of foreign men. Hugely different from trying to date local women in Santiago. However I suspect that once you are set up with a car and a nice apartment and living in Santiago, you will find no shortage of potential girlfriends beating a path to your door.

Thanks for the info Jjbee. I ended up going with the company Dominican Airport Transfers. I got round trip form the airport for two people for 75 US, and round trip from Santo Domingo to La Romana for 229. I know it's not as cheap as using the bus, taxi or even renting a car, but I like having the ease of someone else driving and the convenience of going right from the airport to he hotel.

I believe it's call Sun Transport. You can find them online. Expensive, but comfortable. They will pick you up at the airport. Probably about $150 US to get to La Romana, but fast and comfortable. I used them to get to San Pedro, and from the time I cleared customs until I was at my hotel was 45 minutes. Big, newer van with good a / see and wifi. Very clean and driver was very polite.

I used Expreso La Romana to go to Juan Dolio about two years ago, the cost to La Romana was 70 pesos. I understand the trip to La Romana is less than two hours.

I was just trying for a rough estimate. The Web doesn't have much information on that area.

Parque Enriquillo in Santo Domingo is the bus hub. You can get the bus from there to La Romana. I think the cost is around 200 p. Probably about a 3 hour trip.

I used Expreso La Romana to go to Juan Dolio about two years ago, the cost to La Romana was 70 pesos. I understand the trip to La Romana is less than two hours.

I've never been one to import girls to where I'm at, I prefer to roll the dice in the city itself. I just know how hard it is to pull girls when in Santiago so having them leave their comfort zone for a weekend gringo they never met could be very challenging. I agree with Forests post about San Pedro chicas though. Grownman had a girl he met on the internet from San Pedro who met him in Boca chica and brought her friend for me. Karen was beautiful chocolate and game for whatever I wanted. Hopefully DCups will have success and prove it can be done with Santiago girls, if not at least he he will have a good hookup when he visits Santiago.

Santiago girls fuck up not down (I'm not talking about the girls you see in Sosua), their arrogance dictates that you live there and are on the next level. A weekend warrior talking sweet on the internet won't do it IMO. Indeed DCups may have game but importing Santiago to La Capital girls is a tough go. He can take a step down to increase his chances but why not just shop in SD rather than go through that?

As far as your last paragraph I'm not going to go into internal race relations in the DR except to say women in Santiago don't think "DR pussy is DR pussy" they think they are the prettiest and most desirable. SD is more metropolitan but Santiagoans think they are more middle class and suburban and more privileged. Just because its the capital and the business district doesn't mean that other places aren't viewed (by themselves) as being better. .

San Pedro is filled with gorgeous chicas, but finding the girls who are willing to fuck the random foreigner takes a little effort. And the only decent hotel in San Pedro sucks, as its on the Malecon and can be unbelievably noisy.

That being said, with a little patience, one can fuck as many beautiful women as the heary desires if you speak Spanish and understand that these girls are not hard core and easily offended by indiscrete behavior.

Nevertheless, I stopped going there a few years ago when I discovered Tagged. It's simply too easy to convince the chicas to join me in the capital. As was pointed out, the cost of transportation is very inexpensive, and many girls are happy to go by guagua (or bus) to Sto Domingo and spend a night knowing they will return with 2-4000 pesos (depending on the mongerer).

I might add that the girls generally will do just about anything inbed that you ask them to do.

If you ever decide to go back, Apartahotel Guaraguao is pretty nice. Online price is about $50, but only $40 if you book direct. Very big room with full kitchen, king bed, good a / see and a big bathroom. Only 1 girl allowed in the room at a time. It's close to Parque Duarte, just half a block past the Orange store. Very clean rooms, nighttime security.

If you've really got game, the owner is a very fit, very nice looking woman, probably mid to late 30's.

I think the right guy could definitely score big there. I only went because I had a couple of cupid chicas set up there.
