I never even realized that LatinAmericanCupid existed. Wouldn't DominicanCupid be better for someone going to DR?

As a person that travels all over Latin America, then LAC is better for me because it covers all of LA. If I only traveled to DR, Brazil, Colombia, etc, then it may be okay to use the country specific one. But no sense for me to pay for them individually when there is one with them all together. That company has a long list of Cupids for wherever you may be traveling.

Why the but? On Latin American Cupid all I have ever seen is Latin ladies in the DR section. Never any Haitians or Russians with profiles on there. Maybe a couple Venezuelans, but of course they are Latinas as well.

I will be in SAnto Domingo in a few weeks. It is not point and click place. There are internet sites you can use to meet willing women. I have had success with Dominican Cupid. You meet women ready to be your trip girlfriend. Otherwise SD can be frustrating. English is rarely spoken so you need to be able to communicate. Having a Dominican girlfriend could make many things run smoother. The virus is slowing and restricting activities.

I am thinking of heading to DR since Colombia is closed and looks like it will be for months to come, which sucks. For mongering and a little sight seeing what area is the best? I found flights from Denver to Santo Domingo for $258 in Aug on Spirit which will do. I was looking at Latin Cupid lots of girls but I prefer latin ladies. I also like a more GFE and like to have a comfort level with the girl and if I like them to see them again. Are there areas in SD which are safer? Or more for tourists, since this will be my first trip, my Spanish is decent.

Hmmm. Cańt picture it. Car wash pirot is close. Plaza caribe is close and apparently reopened as a night club. Used to be a place briefly on the other side of the elevado but that was years ago. Need to do a trip to villacon and villa agrícola when they lift quarantine.

Remember guys, prices from the northeast US to the Dominican Republic are historically sky high because of all the demand from Dominicans going there one school is out. If the demand fall off the prices will drop. I saw a one way from New York on American for $200 but it was for July 20. Those first two weeks of July that include the 4th of July is are always hella expensive.

I fly out of the DC area but also do NY when pricng is compelling. The 800 to SD was from Newwark on american and United. On the other hand I have a flight on Spirit for 220 round trip from Bmore. I like Spirit for pricing and arrival times. Once you learn their quirks you can make things work in your favor.

Checked flights and the prices are terrible with the big airlines. Almost 800 round trip.
