What's up with all these cleaning, service and property fees with Airbnb. It is not worth it based on what they are charging now.

Service Fee is automatic with Airbnb. And though I can understand anyone asking a deposit to protect their investment; however Service and Property fees are bullshit! If an extra hustle. Sometimes its The deciding factor on whether I rent the room or not. One time I was going to rent a apartment for two days. The fee call for $100 cleaning fee. I didn't pay it but my friend did because he didn't see it the extra charge.

When he was leaving a middle age Dominican came to clean the room. She said she gets 1000 pesos extra a week for doing three rooms when they are rented.

I know some survival spanish. Hit sue 2 times before with english and google translator 2 years back. Since then I started learning spanish. Based on all of your opinion I do not think I will rent Airbnb.

All the average apartment price is either equal or more than decent hotel / hostal. What's up with all these cleaning, service and property fees with Airbnb. It is not worth it based on what they are charging now. Biggest draw back is some them are too far from major fun activity and dining area. I have stayed at Riazor and tau casa Conde before. Tau from inside is like a prison. The whole zona to me seems depressing and dark. I know it has deep history and people love it, do not beat me down bros. How about any nice bar or club joint in domingo? Not like foxy. Been to mixer one time. In Este. Seems for locals.

I have never been to santiago. Is it worth to explore santiago?

I visited Santo Domingo once from December 25 to 31. My only regret was not staying longer. There were parties everywhere, Santo Domingo is very festive during Christmas. There were no lack of girls but hey, I speak Spanish and know the city. I am not into Airbnb or into any place that can't guarantee me 24 hours electric power so I can't give advise about apartment rentals.

I just didn't know if you guys had any advice since I haven't booked yet. My Spanish is really limited and having a girl friendly hotel with a restaurant in it could be a good thing. As for Tinder it's worked great for me but I'm always open to better ways of doing things. Regardless I'm really excited to plan my trip down in the coming days.

Hotel Riazor is a girl friendly hotel with a good 24 hour restaurant. Most times I stay there or in Palacio. Riazor is single guest friendly, that means you can't do a threesome there. It is near malecon and behind Hotel Jaragua.

Pyramid plaza should meet your needs. It's Airbnb in a good location and the rooms run between 40 and 80 depending on your taste.

Santiago does not have a beach. It's not position on the coast with water excess.

Well I don't see the problem with airbnb or booking. com condos, apt, villas.

There for sure some hosts that don't allow alot of partying in their houses. but dont see any problems to use them with amigas de leche

But well when you travel alone and want to invite a chica book a apt for 2. If you like trios book one for 3.

In all airbnb I booked in the past I did see the host when he give me the key and when he picked it up.

Never had any problems. Always rented for 3 people. Was going there picked up key told host that my amigas will arrive later.

I am sure they know the deal.

i just can suggest to be wise whom you invite to this faboulous apartment. because if chica is bad deal and give problems there is no security or hotel owner who helps to kick her out.

I have banged over 100 girls in the DR most in Sosua. I have not seen any coke in my travels. I smoke a little weed every now and then. For the longest time most chicas would not even indulge in weed. This could be that the type of girls I go after are somewhat non hard core.

You do realize that US authorities estimate that 90 percent of cocaine bound for markets in North America and Europe moves through the DR at some point in the trafficking chain. I ask you to leave your judgement to yourself brah.

I've also exclusively used tinder in the past with success but I'm just curious if there's a better option for finding women.
