There is no reason to pay more than 1500 at Santo Domingo casas. To squeeze 2,000 out of guys, casas will quote 2,000 or 2,500. If you say any variation of: I only have 1,500 or I only need half an hour, or I will be quick, the casa will always give it up. Exceptions to this rule are a crowded casa on a weekend when guys outnumber the girls or if a taxi driver who brought you tells the casa you have a lot of money and will pay more.

As Mr. Enternational said there is no set price and prices depends on your negotiation skills and the casas. For example, some might be paying 3000 for a casa and the other person might be paying 100 dollars (5000 pesos). It all depends on your negotiation skills and the day you go as well. If you go in with your taxi driver, don't even expect anything less than 100 $. Hahaha.

But in terms of price, GBP is the cheapest with 1200 for an hour.

Most other casas you should be able to get it in the range of 2500 to 3000 pesos.

You can also try the Venezuelan apartment. The price is 1500 for 1 pop for 30 minutes.

What you say is true but some guys do not want the strings that come with non pros. I like being able to walk away with no attachments. Non pros want relationships it come with the territory.

Concur. There are 20-somethings everywhere who just want to date a guy who has some money and class. Age difference doesn't seem to matter. Many of them are college-educated, have jobs and are super affectionate. I love the DR. Recently finished my 11th trip in four or five years. Report to follow.

Where do you guys get this going rate stuff from? There is no going rate. Unless you are in some organized place where there is a set price, then you pay what you negotiate. Even in some organized places there is room for negotiation.

Its always been subject to Quality, years in country, Language Skills, Experience, Alcohol and plain old whim. I plaid 7 k one night and it was the best day and a half I have had on 5 continents. IMO if you have been coming to DR for more than a year and you are still dependent on pros your doing something wrong.

I understand your sentiment but are you really mongering if they're not pros or at least closet pros who ask you for money? If they're not asking you for money they'll be asking you for a relationship, which will be wayyy more expensive.

And I'm like why are y'all paying so much? I guess the other guys won out because now you got hoes asking 5 and 8 thousand. Fuck that.

Nobody here likes hearing it and it is still good down here, but not even close to how it was 15-20 years ago. No need for "negotiating". Much harder to get them to leave than get an extra pop.

I remember waking up to a "dominican alarm clock" one morning after a night of partying, drinking and four pops.

I am a tourist here but I spend almost 5 or 6 months in a year. I would appreciate any advice that I could get and drinks are on me if you want to meet up.

But just offer them a propina of 100 or 200 pesos (2 or 4 dollars) so she can do 2 pops in an hour. There is no casa or club girl that can meet for 1000. I think the least was GBP for 1200. But when they have the special, they throw you in 2 girls for that price.

P. S: it is advisable to get a girl from online dating forums than the streetwalkers. My preferences are like this non pros / university girls (highest). Casas or clubs in middle. Streetwalkers (least). I have nothing against streetwalkers, maybe its the similar girls that work in the casas and clubs too. But I am not fond of picking a girl off the street.

It depends on the girl. Negotiate the services with the girls before you pay. Try to be clear about what you wanted. Learn spanish words for the services you wanted. If you go to casa / club. Negotiate the services with girl and price with the owner.
