Is Palacio Hotel girl friendly? Did you any issues at all bringing girls in? Do they have to leave their ID at the desk?

I stay at Jaragua. It's very nice. The casino is a great place to browse. No problem with girls. There is that walk of shame though. Is there a walk of shame at Palacio or is it discreet?

Hotel Palacio is multiple guest friendly so you can have a trio if you want. Girls must show their cedula at front desk. This building was originally the house of a former Dominican Republic president and was constructed over 200 years ago. The rooms I have stayed were very modern with a touch of history on its architectural design. Hotel has a pool, restaurant and bar, sauna and jacuzzi. It is a minute walk from Supermercado Nacional on El Conde. They let you make early check in if available, my room was ready by 10:00 am.

Wow did your friend walk around with his eyes close. He was on the north side of the island. That is the area where you find a higher concentration of lighter complexion Dominicans. I arrived to Santo Domingo in the early morning. Customs took only 2 minutes. The food court in the arrivals area of the airport is under remodelation. I went up to the second level. A Banreservas booth was working at 7:30 am, they were paying 50.75 pesos per dollar. I decided to wait until arriving to zona colonial and went to Frank el Azuano, he was paying 51.50. Franks has been my money exchange house since 1998. I observed for the first time in 20 years that cab drivers were also on the second level. It should be because Uber drivers usually recommends its customers to wait them in that area. Two cab drivers were aggressive trying to get my business but my Uber driver arrived fast and we left the area. I observed the minivan mentioned by Oldkool was there just across the street on departure area.

I did not sleep last night so I was sleeping in route to hotel Palacio. The Uber driver woke up me and we were in front of Palacio Presidencial, he was confused about what Palacio to go. I can't avoid laughing about it and directed the driver to the Hotel. The ride was barely over 500 pesos, a little over $10. I arrived to the hotel after 8:00 am And of course my room was not ready. I walked like a zombie to Pacos (Grands) for breakfast, the coffee helped me getting a little more alert. Three guys at a nearby table were talking about the victory of Puerto Rico over Iran on FIBA world cup and when one mentioned that he was from my same town I decided to join their conversation. We had a great time. One of the guys is married in Puerto Rico but he has a house in Nagua with a local wife. They showed me pictures of their ladies, they were hot. I got my room by 10:00 am. Finally! I slept untl 3:00 pm To be continued.

I paid an Uber to A girl I was with last night, that's why I took a taxi, it took about 40 minute for her to arrive, the cost was 300 pesos.

There's no need to get your Uber driver number for future pick ups from the airport. When you arrive just use the app and pick what's available for you in five minutes or less.

Cab ride from the airport to Boca Chica $20 and up. Uber 233 pesos. Less than five dollars.

Yesterday night I committed the mistake of taking a taxi from El Conde to Villar Hermanos in Gazcue, a short ride without asking the cost before entering the taxi. I was ok with giving 200 pesos, when I asked he told 450 pesos. Transit was heavy so I opened the door I did the kiki dance chanting "taxi, do you hate me, are you crazy, I am not paying that amount of money. He went down to 250, finally he was ok with 225.
