I had thought of that too but didn't mention it. My first time in Peru I did the same thing. Left this chicks house then hired a taxi for a few hours until it was time to go to the airport. I got him to take me to a fuck house and I left my bags in the car. Afterwards the driver told me never to do that. And when I think about it these days I'm like what the fuck was I thinking? Now I wouldn't even jump out of the car for a second with my bags left in the car; I damn sure wouldn't do it when going into a brothel to hang out for a while.

He was one of the official taxi drivers at the airport with an id. I was not too concerned. My bags were locked, I wasn't carrying bars of gold and he seemed to need the fare. Nothing negative about the taxi driver to say.

Seeing as some guys are paying $40 from the airport to Zona Colonial and your guy drove you to GBP, agreed to wait 2 hours, then drive you 20 more minutes for only $33, we can all agree that the regular airport taxi deal is nothing but a ripoff.

GBP Full report.

As an avid lover of Star of Light in Bangkok (go to Bangkok section) I thought GBP might be as close as it gets to Star of Light given its reputation for seediness and cheap cost. I ventured there and want to provide a full report to make it easier for others in the future to enjoy GBP and all it has to offer.

Getting there.

I wanted to go to GBP on the way to my Tagged girl but I had bags. I initially went upstairs to arrivals hoping to find the famed bus that the airport employees used so I could take it into town and take a cheap taxi from there. I waited an hour but I never saw any van or anything else I could take. The airport mafia was constantly approaching me (even upstairs) trying to get a fare. I told them my friend was coming to take me someplace where he would wait for me for two hours and then onto my final destination. One guy would not give up and we agreed on 1400 pesos from the airport to GBP, he would wait two hours and then take me to my final destination which was about 20 minutes from GBP. A good deal I thought so I took it.

A young taxi driver came upstairs with his car. He had a nice Camry that was well maintained. Now I have read how getting to GBP can be a little confusing. I had a two pronged strategy to ensure I would not get lost. First I made sure that driver knew where Avenue 27 de Febrero was. I then told him it would be between Lincoln and Tiradentes. He seemed a bit familiar but not too sure. As we got closer I gave him the number to Arismendy Motors which is right next door to GBP. He called them (see my attached Google map for the number) and they told him exactly where they were (of course thinking someone was coming to buy a car-they sell luxury cars in that dealership). Now when you are coming from the airport to Avenue 27 de Febrero you have to go to the end and make a you-turn because Arismendy and GBP are on the other side of the street (the street has a concrete divider so you have to go to the light and make a you-turn). Right before the dealership is a Shell station (see photo) and then the dealership. As soon as you see the dealership have the taxi slow down because GBP is right beside it (just after the dealership). It is in a small brown building with round cut outs. It has about 10 parking spaces in front. When I arrived there was construction on some of the offices on the bottom of the building. It is a small building-nothing spectacular.

GBP before the action.

Some said that GBP opens at 1pm. You need to walk to the right side of the building to the steel door and ring the bell. I rang it over and over and no one answered. I later discovered it opens at 2pm. Around 1:15 a young girl showed up and she told me they do not open until 2. But some guy was coming in (for one of the offices) and let us in with him. GBP is on the second floor as soon as you come to the top of the steps (see photo). The young women and I sat there for a while talking (she worked at GBP). Nice girl, body and had 'f* me written all over her. I knew she was going to be the one for me. At 2 sharp the boss (who was short, mean looking and reminded me of Jabba the Hutt) and about six girls came up the steps. The other girls were nothing to write home about. A few overweight, the others looked Haitian to me. But not horrible. The boss opened the door and we all piled in.

When you first enter there is a sitting area to the left. Walk a few feet more and there is a small bar (see photo). I was hoping to have the action in the bar like Star of Light but that does not happen at GBP. The bar was decorated in Halloween decorations but it was filthy. The floor had not been swept from the night before. Refuse was everywhere. The boss started cleaning up right away. I sat about ten minutes as the girls milled back and forth getting dressed. One girl, who was about a 7 and lite skinned, had huge boobs I noticed. I had plans to go with her after I had the girl I chatted with.

The Action.

The girl I chatted with came into the bar area and my goodness she was a total brickhouse. She looked totally different. Sexy as hell. We talked for another minute and I said lets go. We walked out of the bar and to the left and it seems as though they took large rooms (on the left and right side) and partitioned them off with white bedsheets. The rooms are exposed to the main hall with no doors and anyone can hear or see (if a breeze or a / see blows on the sheets) whats happening. The room is small (see photo) but enough room to do the deed. I gave her the 1K and she left the room for a minute to give the money to the boss. I enjoyed GBP. Cheap, the girl was great and the rest of the girls are doable. The only drawback is it is a bit out of the way. You need a taxi but for 1300 pesos my driver took me there from the airport, waited while I did the deed and drove me to my final destination. I will not go out of my way to repeat but as far as Santo Domingo goes it is worth the drive.
