I am sure Cagep1967 is working with his friend to get us a special price, lets say 1500 pesos , a free beer and a ham and cheese sandwich. He can post on classified ads section something like this: " St. Valentine special: one chica, a free Presidente and a heart shaped red balloon for only 1500 pesos. But, seriously, if 360 intend to get business from WSG their actual price scale is inadequate, there are some price strategies that can help 360 get customers from WSG market. They may get less revenue per capita but more economies of scale and a bigger cut from monger market pie.

On your last trip did you try any of the places mentioned in the Santo Domingo Casas report or visit any of the spots on the Map of Santo Domingo? Believe it or not there are much better places in Santo Domingo than Bar360. Sorry dude, but it is the truth.

Be careful, they have cameras throughout the hotel palacio, there is a camera that sits right above the pool. Once they know a chica is your novia, they relax a bit. Every other chica who visited me had to produce a cedula. One chica who came to use the pool with her big titty friend, did not have a cedula and the hotel palacio did not let her in, I was bummed.

Didn't see the camera until i was 20 or so minutes into the session, I was kind of thankful that the security came when he did, otherwise I would have. :-) Novia a bit embarrased.

I've got a hotel in the zone that online looks nice, Aparta Roma. A small efficiancy with a kitchen for 45 a night no tax if paid in cash.

Does anyone no of anyplace cheaper? W/Air?

I know of a 3 bedroom apartment near the malecon, but with no air.

I've been to DR 9 times and counting (number 10 coming up in OCT), I've been to most of the places discussed on this board. I'm relaying a message from my buddy to everyone that reads the board. If you come into the bar via a taxi or a guide, don't expect him to budge off the 3500 price. Simple as that, he is running a business and would like to accomodate the peso pinchers on this board but if you come in with a taxi driver or guide don't expect a break.

I have no financial interest in the bar. I'm just hoping my friend can have a go at his place.

With that said, I met a couple of guys off the board the last time i was down there and talked to a couple of you on the phone. As for you BQ, I called you when I was down there but did not get an answer.

Personally I don't frequent the Casa's anymore (but to each his own) even though I had a good time at the Bar hanging out for a long time with the girls.

I'm tired of the Casa's and find it more fulfilling to get a "regular" girl go on a date and see what happens, sometimes it takes a day or 2 but so far never struck out. I've got the names and numbers of a bunch of different girls that I can get in touch with at anytime for a good time and always have my girlfriend.

I am heading down on 10/3 - 10/11. Probably staying in the Aparta Roma (Zona Colonial) 50 per night for an apartment w/kitchen, trying to get them to drop the price for cash payment.

Anyone looking to hang out, my local number is posted in other reports. Will spend a bit of time at BAR 360. I will buy a round for anyone that shows up while I'm there.

BTW, do not take a cab or a guide to BAR 360. My buddy has to pay commission to these guys (so your quoted chica price will include this) your best bet if you need to take a cab to the zone is to go to the hard rock and walk the 2-3 blocks. Save everyone money.

Palacio is very nice, I take my Novia there from time to time, last time we got caught having sex in the pool, around 9PM. Security was cool, just telling us the pool was closed at that time. At times, my novia did not have her cedula, this posed no problem.

BQ/Delta is very nice as well, pool and Jacuzzi on the roof with a bar. No chica fee, however not that if you check in with a girl, her ID will be attached to the reservation and the next time you use the hotel her name would show up on the paperwork. I told the management that this could pose a problem and they should not save that information.

Hotel BQ (formerly Hotel Delta) is just down the block from El Embajador Hotel. Street walkers at night on Avenida Sarasota between El Embajador Hotel and Hotel BQ. Also some chicas sit on the steps of the plaza in front of hotel el embajador.

As an aside, most bigger hotels have ATM machines inside their lobbies or very near to their lobbies. Sometimes I use the ATM which is attached to the outside of the lobby at the Hotel El Embajador, I pull my car up near to the entrance of the lobby and get out and use the ATM machine. There are usually always workers in front of the hotel so it is a safe place. I have also withdrawn money using the ATM machine in the hotel melia casino, the ATM machine is near the bathrooms and the cashiers, also a safe location.

I have stayed at the Hotel Santo Domingo (Avenida Lincoln and the Malecon and Avenida Independencia). Very quiet old hotel, nothing special. Again if you are in that area and you need an ATM machine, you can park your car in the lot for the hotel santo domingo and use the ATM machine in the lobby there. Also the Hilton Hotel has a ATM machine in the lobby, towards the back of the lobby near the elevators, you might be able to park your car in front and quickly get out and withdraw cash.

One thing I tried to find out the last time I was in Santo Domingo, was whether the casinos have a sports book, to bet on American Sports. I was told that when Dominicans want to bet on Dominican Sports that they don't use the casinos, they use some other place. I asked a few workers in one casino and they didn't know about betting on American sports.

The rates at the Hilton are cheaper Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Nice hotel, nice rooms, when you book choose ocean front and you should get a room facing the malecon and the ocean.

Even if you are willing to pay the extra 30 dollars to bring in a non-registered guest, some hotels can deny admittance of certain chicas, if for some reason they don't like the chica.

If you have a chica with you when you check in, then you don't have to pay the extra 30 dollars. I paid about 119 dollars for a Sunday night stay at the Hilton. I prefer the Hotel Palacio for about 100 dollars per night. And for the best pool that I have used in Santo Domingo, the Hotel Embajador (about 90 per night). Palacio and Embajador are chica friendly. Palacio requires the chica to have a cedula, no exceptions.

You could sleep alone at the Hilton and take the chicas to one of the cabanas near the Hilton, further west on the Malecon. Cabana prices range from 12 to 30 dollars for 4 hours. The more expensive cabana rooms have jacuzzis and other items, usually the more expensive rooms are located close to the entrance of the cabana, drive further into the cabana to encounter the less expensive rooms.

If you have a rental car, you can bypass the lobby at the Hilton. You can park your car on the 4th or 5th floor and enter the hotel from the parking garage on the 4th or 5th floor. There is a security guy there, but I walked passed him with my dominican girlfriend several times and he never said a word to me. Just be careful, even if you get a chica in for free, if she causes drama, the hotel may not be happy that you bypassed their $30 fee, in which case you can say you didn't know about the guest fee.

Was planning to go to Boca Chica to hook up with some chics from last trip. Was leaving Friday Sept 4th. Well hurricane Erika is approaching, plus American had mechanical problems with the same flight yesterday and had to return it to the airport. I originally gave this report on another site, that I am a member of, I felt it would only be appropriate to do the same here. Also this is a spot that maybe should be added on the monger map, but please be discreet, and no more copies of it on DR1.

If you talk or listen to the Santo Domingo veterans talk, Santo Domingo used to be the king of rub and tug massage parlors, but unfortunately they cracked down on them and basically rubbed them out entirely.

But I had the pleasure of enjoying one earlier today, in a nice quiet neighborhood, it looks just like a regular spa from the outside and continues to even when you enter. Their message is discreet, and you certainly can’t blame them considering what happened to all the other joints. Don't remember the name, when I visit again, I will get a business card with the exact address, and phone info. It is located close to all the group of hotels that are on the Malecon, starting with the Jaragua, and going to the hotel on calle Pasteur. It is a block north from Ave. Independencia and a block west of Calle Pasteur located between La Cadena Supermarket and the purple and yellow colored political headquarter located on the corner of Ave. Independencia and calle Cervantes. It is a small spa set back from the street between the two above locations. The hours are from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, don’t know if that means last massage has to start by 7:00 pm or if you are good as long as you get there by 8:00 pm.
