That guy Luis seems to be a big b_llsh_tter. I have walked past him on the malecon and he will ask me for 300 pesos so that he can buy chicken. I don't give him anything. Even if the girls lived in San Cristobal, they could have taken a gua gua (van packed with people) from Santo Domingo to San Cristobal for probably 200 pesos (6 dollars). A taxi making a two hour ride (roundtrip, to San Cristobal and back to SDQ) I guess would charge more than 40 dollars. I know the last gua gua to San Pedro de Marcoris leaves Santo Domingo at around 10pm (not sure when the last guagua leaves for San Cristobal, but I would guess it would be around 10pm). I would think, those chicas left your hotel well before 10pm. Luis looks like he is about 50 years old, about 5'6'', not much hair, big round face, not skinny and he drives a beat up car. Most of the taxis I have used in SDQ, have been really beat up pieces of crap.

Baby Dolls?
Hey, I've noticed the wannabe pimps touting for customers on the el conde with cards for 'Baby Dolls'. Has anyone been there, no anything about it?

Are you flying into Punta Cana? If yes, you'll need to take a bus to SD. Cost isn't a major concern, but travel time may be.

Some of those girls are scary but there are some real sweethearts who occasionally work out there when they need money. And the going rate for most is 1000P. Depending on the time of night, it can be for short time (un rato) or todo la noche. Those same girls that Boricua sees at the colmado on the corner will be out on Independencia later at night. I walk that area at night regularly (though I stay aware of my surroundings) and have never had a problem. You can walk from Jaguar to Manolo's, the Jaragua, Coppy's, La Parada, Girl's House and Sky Bar then if none of that works out, check out the girls on the street.

I don't know whats up but no one appears to be too happy working there. THey have lost my business.
This is in reference to Casado Dorado not Jaguar I hope.
Nice comments you made in the Boca Chica thread. I have always seemed to do OK in BC also.
