What is there to do within walking distance of the hotel?

What makes this the best hotel in Santo Domingo for mongerer's is that they have 2 discos which get up to 500 -750 people per night,7 days a week!

Sorry, but I find that hard to believe.

Now, all you do is go down to the disco around midnight, after gambling, get a bottle and pick a nice lady to sit with you!

Again I find that hard to believe unless you speak fluent Spanish and are a handsome dude.

Sometimes, i get 3-4 different girls a night and these girls are far from the dirty pros in Malecon!

Come on, let's be for real.

Plus, the room rates are great like 125 bucks for a suite and less 75 bucks for a room includes cable, air, room service, abive average food, you name it they have it!

Is the 26% tax included? If not than the rooms are closer to $100 per night. I think most guys look to stay in the $50 per night price range.

Hope everyone know, this is the best new mongering spot in Santo domingo in over 10 years hands down!

It has a great large casino and is 100% chica friendly!

I first read about this hotel on DR1, it is in the oriental zone and near a lot of neighborhoods. I was going to visit it on my last travel in October but did not have enough time to visit. Will visit on my next travel.

I stayed at a small hotel in Santo Domingo, near the Malecon. One night while I was leaving this hotel, I joked with the security guard that I was going out to find chicas. The security guard told me to wait and he went and spoke to the guy who was at the front desk. After about two minutes a tall thick legged chica walked out into the lobby and sat on a sofa. The guy at the front desk asked me if I was interested in her and introduced me to her. She wasn't my type so I politely said no gracias. It would have been real convenient to do her, since my room was about 20 feet from where she was sitting. I met a guy at the airport who worked with the rental cars and he me gave his his phone number. I am sure if I called him he could have set me up with some chicas. You never know where the mongering possibilities will present themselves in Dom. Rep.

I chatted with a guy who worked at the hotel and he told me was a friend of the manager of a bar on Avenida Pasteur, two blocks from the hotel. We walked over to this bar one night. It is on the same street as the place with bright neon sign. One is Girl's House and the other is Sky House, I guess (I forgot the exact names, they are on Pasteur between the Malecon and Indepencia). The one with the bright neon sign, I went into one night. Inside it is really bright, sofas and mirrors and a small bar. I went to buy a beer and about twelve girls lined up behind me, all different shapes, sizes and colors. Some were a little annoying, pinching me or grabbing my hair. The other place on Pasteur which is before the place with the neon sign, coming from the direction of the malecon going towards Independencia, seemed more low key. I don't remember seeing a sign outside this place. You walk in and the bar is to the right around a low wall. There were tables with sofas. Lighting was more subdued. I went in with the guy from the hotel and he knew various chicas, whom he introduced to me. There were some big titty, big booty chicas in that place. We got there about 20 minutes before curfew, there were no other dudes there. At least ten girls and the quality was better than what I saw at the other place. I believe they open in the early afternoon.

I got the phone number of one chica who worked in Foxy's, she was real careful and secretive about giving me her phone number. The house wants their fee and I am sure that they don't want chicas trying to cut out the house fee. I saw one thin young chica in Foxy's, she had on the school uniform look, white blouse, short plaid type skirt, with librarian type glasses. She got up and danced and got nude. Not sure if she was Dominican, Colombian or Brasilian, but she was cute.

I think I met that taxi driver Luiz one night on the malecon, near the Jaragua. I chatted with him for about ten minutes and when I said bye, he asked me for money for food. I would have used him the next night when I wanted to see the casas, but he wasn't around. I met another taxi driver while I was walking over to the Jaragua Casino and I told him I would use him, if I didn't find anything in the casino. I visited the casino and didn't find anyone I wanted so walked back over to where the taxi driver was on the malecon. I believe the guy who is Luiz had showed up and he remembered me from the night before, but I got into the car with the other driver. The Luiz guy started to yell at the other driver that he had taken his client. The guy Luiz may be good at hustling up chicas, but appears that he likes to hustle the mongers as well.

The taxi driver I chose was an older guy, he took me to three different casas that were open after the curfew. We drove past some streetwalkers and he advised me they were transvestites. He never asked for a beer or a drink. He waited patiently off to the side while I visited the casas. He said he was retired from the police or the military. We never discussed how much I had to pay him. Since he was a nice old guy, and I had a buzz, I gave him 20 dollars, I spent at least two hours visiting the three casas.

Question, based on reports here, it is to my understanding that Casona Dorada hotel is chica friendly. And they are in a central location. Do they have internet capability as I intend to bring my laptop?

I normally travel to PI twice a year, but this time I thought I would try DR out. I live in FL so it will be a short flight. I will be arriving in Santo Domingo on Nov 14th and I am only staying for a few nights. I have searched and seached for all the info I can find, so this is what I was going to do unless someone has better advice.

Pay the $100.00 change fee and go to Sosua first. Just because the airfare is cheaper to SDQ alot of first timers go there and are lost......i will be in Sosua during your dates, and will show you around! You got the first Presidente though!!
