I keep hearing about Girls House but any other good spots you know of will be great. I going in late August so an umbrella in those types of rain will not work. Will love any advice you can give.

There are a number of additional clubs but These 4 will get you started. Be careful with Casa Teresa. They have a superior cut of Chica there but the prices can get steep and you must be sure that you'll get what you're looking for from the Chicas by negotiating everything (time, services, photo's, etc.) in advance.

Propina should be negotiated and paid at the end of your session once she's out of your room. There is a floor show @ Lapsus usually midnight on Fri/ Sat and 10:30 Sun-Thurs. which gives you a good look at the talent in the raw so you don't get any nasty surprises like C-section scars or 3 titties.

Sky Club is a way more relaxed atmosphere than the other three but you must also be careful to negotiate everything before paying anything. They have some very experienced hustlers mixed in with the cuties and some will attempt to ratchet the price up for "extra" time or services.

Keep in mind that the new definition for TLN in the Santo Domingo casa's is 2 hours. Any more than that is up to the Chica. If you want one for longer than that negotiate that shit after she's proved her worth and not beforehand as I've known newbies to end up with a $200 hand job from a $60 Chica.

Don't worry about the rain. Take taxi everywhere and forget walking between the hotel and the casa's. Taxis are plentiful and cheap and it would be a good idea to keep the cards of good taxi drivers and get DR service added to your cell at the Claro shop in Zona Colonial. You buy calling cards (250 RD), they set your NAM2 up with a Dominican (809 or 829) number and outgoing calls are around 7 cents a minute to DR or US with free incoming.

Don't try to overthink your 1st trip. Use the "force" and be kind and respectful to the Chicas unless they prove unworthy in which case you just walk away and get another. Your biggest problem is going to be figuring out what to do in between crazy trysts with beautiful Chicas who will keep your nuts drained. Suggestion: plan a day trip to Boca Chica (25 minute taxi ride, 800 pesos) and enjoy the beach.

I and going to DR in August and because of the weather I will like to know which girl friendly hotel is closer to the bars. Also if it rains alot will there be a beter place to go. This will be my first trip so i am thankful for the info.

What bars do you refer to? There are bars all over Santo Domingo. Virtually every hotel is girl friendly too. The only exceptions seem to be the high end hotels with casinos.

Most of the casas are not really approachable on foot, because at night, Santo Domingo is not safe. You should take a taxi to and from the casas at night.

In any case, I suggest you arrive prepared for some showers. They are really not a big deal if you have an umbrella.

It's our second night here.

The first night, I took my buddy to Girl's house and we hooked up right away. Salida is as normal at $2, 500 but even before leaving the club, girls were talking about $2, 500 more for TLN even though we were leaving at closing. Wtf. Next morning my girl was ok with $1, 000 propina but my buddy's girl was not. Wtf?

Struck out on the second night. Started out trying to find the Penthouse from an address I found on here. We found the address in a residential area but it's not obvious how to gain entrace. No guys standing outside etc. Checked out Lapsus, Aurora and Tabu. Girls there are not in the same league as Girl's house. We left and got lost trying to find the other Lapsus close to Embajado Hotel. Went to the Jacarando Casino and the pickings were slim, except for a few cute casino staff girls.

Love Seeker: all those I listed have ac and hot water. As far as which was best, it's a matter of personal choice. The Mercure is right on Conde you can sit on the patio outside, sip a cold Presidente and just watch the talent walk by. The natives are very friendly. This hotel has an awesome breakfast (free) and nice restaurant too.

The Riazor is nice, about the same class but about a 20 min walk to the Colonial Zone. But like I said, the girl clubs are a block away, same as the casinos. If you can't score in the DR, you ain't trying hard enough. Riazor has a restaurant right around the corner and has room service.

Crazy Jim- I enjoyed your report, but I'm sorry that your time in SDQ wasn't exactly a 5-star experience. The "locals" around the capital do tend to have their hands out alot looking for anything they can shake out of a tourists pockets!

I have to agree with Frannie, you'd probably have done better starting on the north coast. Hope you have more luck (and less strange odors) in Sosua.

Footsteps??? Columbus went to the North Coast first--which is what you should have done--and gave Puerto Plata (Silver Port) its name, because he noted that the clouds over the mountain behind the city looked silvery.

Anyway, glad to hear that you are having fun, which I knew you would. You will probably make a few DR newbie errors, but that is all part of the game, and you will have an even better time on your next trip--guaranteed.

Dominican women are a lot of fun--this was Columbus's main discovery, and men have been discovering it ever since.

I can see how one may have gotten taken in the dark. She has a cute face and Im sure with the push up bras that women everywhere use nowadays she looked like a true stunner! One rule I always follow. i arrived in santo domingo after an uneventful trip.

i passed through immigration without a hitch, other than having to open up my luggage to dig out $10 for the tourist card. also, i noticed that all of the hot chicas i saw on the airplane where with me in the foreigner line going through customs and not the dominican line.

the taxi fare was us$ 35 to my lodgings as hotel mercure. again i had to open up my luggage to get the dollars.

i checked in and the clerk gave me an envelope with the remote for the television. i guess someone steals them. i noticed a sign saying that there is a us$6 a night charge for guests. since i have a reservation for two, hopefully it will not apply to me. in my room, i opened up a 1 liter bottle of water from the minibar (us$ 3.95).

after dropping off my things i had a mediocre pizza and presidente for dinner (total damage with tax, gratuity, etc under 400 pesos. then back to the room for a shower and of to la base.

the front desk told me i could walk there from the hotel. that is horseshit. however, i did walk by the hard rock not more than 2-3 minutes from hotel mercure on el conde.

i wandered into some restaurant and managed to tell them that i was looking for la base. they said that it was too far and i would need a taxi and summoned michael the taxi driver for me.

michael took me to la base for 200 pesos. i ordered a president from a very well endowed waitresses in the stretchy red tank top and daisy duke cut offs that all the staff wear there. she kept saying something to me, and i could not understand, but it is true that after she said it louder the dumb foreigner finally understood that she was asking what size presidente i wanted. i said “grande”. that set me back 130 pesos.

all the waitresses were very buxom, some with the ass that comes with it, and there were also some very pretty female customers, or at least big-assed and big-titted, but all were accompanied. i did not see any unaccompanied women. however, it had been a long day and i may have missed the semi-pros that other board members have reported there.

after i finished my grande presidente i caught another taxi driven by jerry. he said something like herraldo, so i figured that he meant jerry. i asked him to take me to the jaragua. he wanted 300 pesos, i said 200, and would up paying 250.

he dropped me off and i walked up through the parking lot to the street behind it. i walked about a block and was practically gang-raped by some very aggressive and ugly hookers. i brushed them off with a “mas tarde” and hurried along, but some guy caught up with me. he took me to lapsuz (sp), a casas, but before we went in i said i was going to hit the casino first. then he mentioned girls house so i had him take me there.

as soon as i entered girls house i was accosted by two chicas. they expose their bellies and have these pushup bras that cause their cleavage to practically pop out.

well, i am used to chinese baby damage, which usually consists of a bad cesarean scar. with these chicas, the baby damage is below the waist (stretching).

the dark lighting and clever use of clothes really makes it difficult to evaluate the goods before making a purchase.

i was overwhelmed by the line up. there were about 20 chicas ringed around me sitting on the couch, pawing me, pushing me to make a decision.

well, brothers, i did not make the best choice (you can see from the pictures) in terms of looks. but, you must be proud of me for making my desires known. i told them i wanted a chica who would kiss and let me take pictures. so now i have half of the line up puckering up (2 or 3 even started kissing me) and pretending to pose.

i chose r. she was 2500 to the house,.

on the way out the guy who showed me the way wanted 1000 pesos. i laughed. he said at least give me a few hundred. i gave him a 50 note and he was very happy.

it was 150 for the taxi ride back to my place, and 200 in taxi money for here. the dipshit taxi driver who took us back to my place got lost and i had to give him directions. the he said he wanted 25. i gave him a 50 peso note and said wheres my chage and he got all upset. i guess he wanted $25 us. i kind of knew he wanted 25 us but it was fun fucking with him because he was not the sharpest tool in the shed. so my girl took another 100 from my hand and gave it to him and we hopped out.

so, r was not much in the looks department (believe me she looked a lot better dressed in the line up than she did naked on my bed) and there was just a whiff of ass that would have turned me off otherwise, but she was quite a kisser and very photogenic. it was also funny that she called me mi amor, and i knew what she was really saying was that she didn't know my name so i told her. we kissed for a while. i guess she liked it because she did not need any lubricant. or maybe it was just loose. it was alos funny because the condom was black and she said "negra" like it was a big surprise to her. after sexo she was very affectionate and afterwards gave me her number and said something about "constigo". i said no comprendo and she said sucky sucky fucky fucky.

r was very dark, but seemed more like native american, whereas tmany of he waitresses and customers at la base were lighter than r but actually had more african features.

well, that about sums up my first day in the dr.

yes, i did spend a pretty penny and have little to show for it pussy-wise, but i am really getting the hang of spanish, i can explain what i want and get it.

tomorrow it is off to sosua. i will continue taking pictures but i promise to try to improve my baby damage assessment (bda), which requires some recalibration as i am accustomed to the china-japan area of operations.

Has anyone stayed at the Renaissance Jaragua Hotel and Casino? If so, what did you think about it. Any ladies haning out in the casino or did you have any issues getting them to your room?

I used to stay here all the time when traveling there for business. However, despite the friendly staff, the lack of consistent electricity, hot water, and internet connection, I changed to the Hilton that opened a couple of years ago. I had never thought to monger there, but I will have to consider it the next time I go on business.

Which one is most likely to have the air conditioning and hot water working? Do they have pools, bars, restaurants? Which one is closest to the Colonial Zone? I have been to the north coast many times but never the south. I will be down the first week of August.

PS I liked Nixion. My father was very active in the Republican Party and when I was a baby Nixion actually kissed me when he was at my family estate.

Hotel Antigua Europa, at end of El Conde, $44 per night.

Hostal Riazor, on Independencia behind the casinos, $45.

Mercure Hotel, right on Conde, $55 with great free b'fest buffet.

The Riazor is walking distance 1 - 2 blocks to the casinos and girl bars (Lapsus & Girl House Cafe).

All are girl friendly as I've stayed at all of them in the past year. There are many others, but the higher the class, the less likely they will allow. All will either take or copy the girls ID. No ID, either no entry, or you have to pay.
