    Be careful out there

    SDQ

    I was in DR two-weeks ago, flew in from Miami (as usual) and rented a car at Americanas airport (no problem, just takes forever); I stayed three nites in Colonial part of town and during day, I slept; I had one very scarey experience, I picked up a street-girl on the Malecon(11pm), big mistake! two minutes later policia is on my ass to pull over (damn!). So, I pulled over, the cop didnt speak a lick of english and i pretended I knew very little spanish, anyway he demanded ID and I gave him my expired NJ license...he kept driving with me in the passenger seat while girl was in the patrol car behind us with his partner; He kept saying same BS, "prostitution is illegal in DR "and "I was in big trouble", and i repeated I want no trouble in my broken spanish...after several long minutes driving toward cabanas he said he could let me go for a price ($50 USD), so, I gave it to him and he said fuck the girl hard for me (which I did);

Ok, moral of the story is that the DR police are crooked (yes!!) but , i look like a gringo and was stupid enough to pick up a chica on the main drag and they are looking for us to make extra money. The bottomline is that I was not afraid and I ultimately knew he wanted a bribe and theres not too much you can do about it unless you want to be risky and not pay or stop when they are trying to pull you over.

So, be careful out there; by the way me and the chica laughed about it and enjoyed a bottle of wine in the cabanas after we had multiple positions and BBBJCIM..so total cost of chica, cabana with bribe $80 USD (still a bargain for US prices).

Thanks for the kind words. In fact your informative posts have been quite helpful. I guess getting taken in the DR is somewhat of a rite of passage. It is still embarrassing when you realize that you've been had. I hope that my candor will help the next monger avoid a similar fate.

    BEWARE OF JOSE...LOL that asshole...

Yes I do want to check out Azul and the mansion. Also some other restaurants like Sophias and David crocket? Novia works till late eve so I will be able to easily slip out.

She's called several times, so far so good..but I do need to brush up on my spanish

    Suete!

see prev post for more pics of the babe. Thanks jackson for posting the links for the resizer.

    Carrib,
Thank you for your terrific report! By telling both the good and the bad about your trip - you showed yourself to be an honest and credible person.

Anyone who tells you that they're a DR regular and hasn't gotten scammed or flim-flammed down there is lying to you. It may not be the same scam - but they've gotten "taken" in some way or in one form or another.

I've been victimized in a credit card scam at a hotel in SDQ and had a valuable gold chain stolen from my condo in Sosua by a staff employee, and I certainly have been around [alot] and consider myself to be pretty sharp traveler. A guy like your guy "Jose", probably exists in every town in that country!

The good parts of your trip however sounded pretty darn good! The girl you posted a picture of is gorgeous, and you had some agreeable meals and won back some money at "21"! All good.

Of the places you missed - "The Mansion" would have been worth it and so would Casa Azul. Casa MonaLisa isn't much, you probably didn't miss much there.

    cheers...........

The next day I ran into her at this local restaurant on ave Independencia, she was wearing the SAME clothes...LOL. Started drinking and decided to make our way to BC--the child touts were harassing us....do u want girl? shoe shine? finally got pissed and gave them each 50 pesos (150 total)

this is when I met the smooth tout...U guys have to appreciate this....Carrib comes clean with the good and the bad...

The guy jose introduces himself as an attny who teaches at the local university..he offers us a tour of the university and all the while feeding us BS....he starts talking about this "chinito" cream that gets your dick hard and he can get it for cheap...yeah how much? big batch for 1500 pesos, 500 for his trouble. LOL Off we go to the university...MAN wave after wave of fine ass chicas.....we go to a restaurant to wait for the babes...the con is still on as he refuses lunch "I pay my own way" to make a stupid long story short....he says the chinito is in a lab and he would go get it but I have to wait outside as I am not allowed into the building with shorts....LOL...

My dumb ass gives him 2k pesos and off he goes never to return....LOL

this is his number 809-837-5973 JOSE

Still smarting from the con....I went to casino and went on the nice streak...I am no gambler but I won 500 USD LOL playing blackjack.

That night we went to monte christo and WOW..I wish I could've taken some pics that night to show the sheer quality and beauty of those chicas. It is one of the hottest bars in SD, we were supposed to go to LOFT but was having a such good time at Monte Christo we never left

later that night we went to Casa Theresa....there were asking 3k pesos, and yes I fucked up and paid it. Chose this big bunda mulatta and in the room things started well....great BBBJ with deep throat...then she started fucking me like a porn star but after 40 mins, she stops and says she was tired....WTF? well why u no leche? because I aint ready!!!

she offers more BJ and massage--but by then, I was too upset, loss my desire and decided to cut my losses --got up, took a shower and went downstairs..she tried to apologize, but I was having none of it, so I pushed her away. I was beginning to really HATE DR

Real bad day...except for monte Christo and the casino---I got taken for 2k pesos and had a terrible experience at casas theresa...BUT there is always anther day...

The next day was MUCH better---went to the colonial zone and since I had already made my contribution to the Dominican fund, all the touts were getting the cold shoulder..WHATEVA THE FUCK IT IS, I don't WANT IT..FUCK OFF!!

Had lunch at the EL conde restaurant, great place to check out the chicas strolling by and the touts in action. I called Notaputa and we agreed to dinner after she gets off---We went to adrians, great spot had a nice dinner.....afterwards we went to a love motel and fucked until 3AM or so..great time. Not much to say unless she starts asking for money or I catch her doing someone else..then her pics and full info will be plastered here...till then, my lips are sealed....funny thing is she looks way better than the putas I saw. The regular women in the DR are nothing but GEMS...In my point of view, DR still has its positives but the price of pussy is getting put of hand....Some of the prev pics here on this board give you the impression that there are no beatiful women in the DR only ugly or avg looking hardcore pros..DONT U BELEIVE IT..LOL...guys are keeping mum on the gems. There are some FINE women in Santo Domingo...

The upscale market and non-pros are the only way to go. When you have avg babes asking for 2500-3k pesos? HELL NO....

On the plane back to Miami...met this tennis star. Funny thing is I didnt know who the heck she was except noticed the body (WOW!! when she got up to let me into my seat...tennis legs and a phat ass . The male flight attendant was all over himself trying to rap to her...we talked all the way back, exchanged numbers and I was invited to the US open...LOL...no lie...All I can say is that she is ranked.

  6. #587
Well Carrib goes to the DR, gets hustled for 2k pesos, wins the money back and more playing blackjack, finds himself a new novia and goes home happy

    Otherwise not much to tell..

the novia, a notaputa or very low key semi-pro will not be shown, sorry fellas that was some good tight free pussy and I will not let lurking assholes fuck this up.

AA is having a fire sale to the DR, so I said what the fuck? booked a flight and reserved a room at the Jaragua...I know, I know it is not GF but it was free as I was using my points.

Getting to SDQ was a nightmare, a one hour thunderstorm cancelled my flight and backed up everything else.

    Then the drama began:

Lady missed the 4pm rescheduled flight so we had to wait until they got her bags off the plane

while waiting, someone gets a mild heart attack--had to take her and her luggage off the plane...more waiting

Then the plane engine would not start!!....parts had to be replaced and we got a Jump?..LOL and after three hours--we were off...

first night checked in and was dead tired , shit showered and shaved. I went to the pharmacia and picked up a 4 pack of Cialis for 1100 pesos or so. Decided to check out the Jaragua casino with the famed working girls...YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!! bunch of average or ugly babes....hung out to see if things would change...nada. watched the live show for a few mins got bored and decided to hunt some DR punani..Off to some casas....

The driver took me to Casa Modelos, the address is listed here (RTFF), it isnt far from the Marriott but they were closed thus we could only look through the window. There were about 10 girls there, some of the girls were nice, but the price was 3K pesos for 3 hours up front ...wasnt this place 2k pesos not long ago? I decided to pass. Next up was Girl House, this is where I met this girl...the price was 2500 pesos with no time limit...had the driver ask about BBBJ, multiple pops ---and she was cool..The other girls looked like they were picked up from the crack house, pot bellies abound!!

There is a seedy, crusty motel, Hotel Mystic, right next door where u can rent rooms for 50 dollars/night or 700 pesos for 4-5 hours. In the room ,she did a slow strip tease, no kissing but excellent slow BBBJ...we then fucked, cowgirl, doggy and multiple positions---while in session, BF dude from bermuda called....SHHHHHHHHHH....OH HELL NO....she promised that she will make it up if I was quiet--I really didnt care (it was the third hour and we were in intermission) but pretended to throw a fit...LOL...ok I will be quiet...U will suck me for 35 minutes or more..OK?....she agreed....

    On the phone...

    BF: "what are you doing?"
Puta:" nothing sweetie, in my room about to go to bed...I am thinking about you, are u thinking about me?"

This goes on for two more minutes and decided I had enough....started to finger fuck her.....she tried to pry my hands away, so I went for the phone when she tried to block...I slipped my dick in LOL....I am tired honey gotta go!!!...LOL....she quickly shut the phone off..LOL...fucked her for another 40 mins or so and ot another BJ ---I was satisfied and decided to go sleep at the marriott..

    Enjoy.
Girl House and Lapsus are both within walking distance from behind the Jaragua. Both the same price, DR $2,500. Lapsus has the better quality, Girl House the better quantity. There's another one next to Lapsus, but I haven't been to it. Heard some bad things, like crack *****s.

crazy story chily! totally believable, but crazy. thanks for sharing!

i had direct knowledge several years ago that a number of members of the policia nacional working in the capital will involved in a stolen rental car flim-flam racket. they would work directly with car thieves, who would steal rental cars as part of a scheme to bilk money out of tourists credit cards when they used the cards to cover their rental auto insurance.

its not surprising that the "cops" are getting more aggresive - maybe the passport requirement for us tourists is slowing down business for them.

I plan to stay at Santo Domingo around May 20th for a week, and my intention for this trip is strictly the Chicas. I am told that Santo Domingo beats Boca Chica tremendously when it comes to finding the most beautiful, cheap, and nicest Chicas that dont hustle you or rip you off. The hostel Riazor comes highly recommended because it's situated in the proximity of Ave Independence, it's friendly to guest, and efficient 50 USD a nice price. I am told that the most Chicas hang out on the south side of the street after 7pm in groups of 2 to 3 by the Esso Gas station. There is the Lapsus Nightclub and the Girls club which I am told are Chica joints that serve Chicas on fixed prices of 2500 pesos for short time up to 5000 pesos for all night respectively. Can anybody confirm all of this, that Ave Independence is the best area in the entire city for an English speaking Gringo like me prowling for beautiful chicas. Could anybody recommend any other girl joints to check out around the Colonial/Ave Independence area? I was told that the Chicas hang out in groups outside on the ave, similar to the mechanism of Boca Chica....wink wink and they come to you, buy them drinks, then negotiate, then take them back to hotel and enjoy their bodies.

Thank you all in advance for your replies, they will help me tremendously!!!

    Legacy.........

Don't forget successfully closing down Remington Palace by supporting the curfew. I do love the curfew, but I feel its days are numbered (at least in current format) for the north coast anyway. Its ashame, I love toda la noche being from 12 or 1 till daylight!!

    Chilly,

The article you quoted from is very interesting. I think for the most part it may all be true. If your position is that "cost over-runs" and a lack of "transparency" will result in the country ultimately taking on "Herculean" debt to ultimately finish the project - this may also be the case. It may have made more sense to continue to widen the highways (as they have been doing) and creating a more logical and more dependable bus system to address their "mass transit" issues, at least for now.

However, a few points. Isn't Osiris De Leon the Geophysical Engineer who was griping some time ago on how he wasn't consulted on that project, and he thought he should have been. Something about the "lack of sufficient soil samples" taken in some kind of feasibilty study they conducted?

Too, President Leonel Fernandez has always seen himself as a dynamic man of vision. Even more so during this term after the Hippolito Mejia debacle.
You know that if anyone is going to re-vamp the mass transit system for the city of SDQ - you know he'll want his fingerprints on it!

The real issue as I see it is that they still can't keep the power on down there! I certainly don't think that adding a massive transit-train system to their already inadequate power grid is going to help the problem!

I think Fernandez should make his legacy a) stabilizing the currency v. the US Dollar (which he already has done) and b) keeping the damn lights on for more than 14 hours a day! (lol)

A Transit-Train system isn't going to get the DR out of the 3rd world, not forcing people to cook meals at night by candlelight will!

    cheers..............

The coordinator of the Dominican Republic Natural Science and Environment Commission said that this subsidy for the Metro, in addition to the funding assistance necessary for providing the project with energy, will hold the Dominican economy in a state of bankruptcy.

He affirmed that for each passenger, thirty five net pesos would be required, and that daily, the subsidy could reach RD$8.75 million.

He indicated that Metro promoters did not calculate that this would be the one most expensive project during the past one hundred years while contributing with least number of benefits per each peso invested, in addition to hefty subsidy.

De Leon made his observations during a conference he disserted at State University (UASD) entitled ‘The Santo Domingo Metro and its economic, social and environmental impacts’.

He stated that the Metro strongly impacts the economy, because it has spent RD$6 billion and at the end, it will cost RD$55 billion.

It is his understanding that the 14.2 kilometers will barely transport 1% of the national population, while the remaining 99% will pay for a service that they will never use.

He reiterated that the Metro was initiated without studies, without planning, without budgets, without designs and the necessary environmental evaluation.

De Leon said that, for the Metro, all studies were skipped for lack of time and for fear that results concluded in discarding the project from the techno-economic standpoint.

According to the expert, this lack of pertinent studies has caused the project to stumble with grave technical difficulties that have had to be resolved with huge surplus costs, such as addition of thousands of unforeseen pillars, that have cost over RD$500 million at the stretch in Villa Mella.

He stated that, by virtue of funds assigned for capital expenditures, the Metro is more important for the government than food, education and health for the population and a priority beyond environmental considerations.

De Leon said that, during the past month of December, the Executive Power regularized the overdrafts on account of the Metro as of June 2006, by asking from the Congress a transfer of RD$1.1 billion from the Education and Public Health Ministries for the train project.

In his view, extraordinary social impacts of the Metro include, among other, that homes and building structures in the neighborhood of the excavations suffer cracks on floors and walls, aside from impeding free access of neighbors, plus loss of value that nearby homes and buildings.

He considered that risks are considerable, given that the tunnel is built on unsteady grounds.

In De Leon’s view, it is impossible that the Metro transport 250,000 persons per day, as claimed by authorities.

The Transportation Reordering Office (OPRET) has beforehand acknowledged the Metro’s inefficiency, when OPRET announced that some 140 kilometers of bus routes will be required to access the train.

De Leon considered that the country is called on to develop with construction projects, but that development should never be an excuse for undertaking projects without the necessary study and without following a scheme of priorities.

He believes that the Metro is a rushed option that was not planned, adopted unilaterally by the government, without consulting society.
These were the same argueents and issues against our federal highway system. However, the ability to effectively transport cargo, cheap travel creation and increased comerce brought about our second industrial revolution and increased GDP exponinentially.

History is the words greatest asset. However, no one wants to be told that they are full of shit. Most of the non-industrial world is catching up to the West and we are steady trying to poke holes in their growth.
