I just got a call. My friends are in the La Capital for the 1st time. I heard them complaining about the traffic.One in the background said, "this shit is a travesty". They DO NOT SPEAK SPANISH. I could have swore I heard the driver say,Quieres travestis? No problem!". My friend then says to me, "yes man, this traffic is a damn travesty. LOL The only English words I heard from the driver were, "Okay. I will take you later. LOL. Then the call dropped. OMG I am torn beween asking and not asking. I dont think they realize what they unknowingly are asking to see! I know the forum rules. I abide by them.I want to text them the name of the ST.s to avoid for that type of thing and let them know the difference between travesty and travesti. One of them had a hard night in Rio regarding the latter. (Long story. Lets just say my guys are very intelligent but not smart enouh to study the language so that they can ask the right questions.) Without me to translate they may be doomed! Can anyone help out? PM me or post for the benefit of all.

LMAO...They will learn something from this adventure ! Then again it may not be what they want. Guaranteed if they find a good looking b/girl and get them home only to find out their date has an extra part it will a definite learning experience.

Has anyone heard of a bar called "Manila"? Possibly it is "Vanilla", but I don't think so. Is it a chica bar or just a regular bar? Any more information on this place? Where is it located? Pricing? Quality of chicas?

correct on the directions but it's more like a 20 minute brisk walk, i suggest to take a cab unless you are on a serious budget because it's too hot in the day and too dangerous at night. the cab should be 150-200 pesos...more or less...

I live in the Zona Colonial and I do this walk several times a week.

It's a 10 minute walk maximum. I have never had any problems doing this walk at night and have never felt un-safe.

A cab fair in anywhere in the centre of town is a standard rate of 130 pesos even for a 10 or 15 minute cab ride (and this is a 2-3 min cab ride). Of course you have to always have to agree the fair with the cab in advance or they will ask for whatever they think they can get away with.

It is a nice 10 minute walk There are a couple of chica bars right around the corner (make two rights as you walk out the hotel). The casino has a couple of girls. I'm pretty sure you can make plans to take the dealers out after their shift. I never tried, but in retrospect I should have.

For all you NYC area mongers, I just noticied that Jet Blue is starting two flights a day from JFK to SDQ. They stopped servicing SDQ a couple a years ago.

Fights start May 24th. Just booked for thier inaugural flight for $330RT with all taxes ($109 each way).
