Now for the sake of clarity I need to point out that yes I am aware of the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19. And given the havoc that the spread of this virus is causing and the potential lethality of the disease it causes I'm uncertain as to why anyone would need to ask me about that. In both Republica Dominicana and my country of origin the devastation in both the formal and informal economies is of historic proportions.
