Was not for mongering but the normally quiet las terrenas turns into a mess with the influx of Dominicans leaving trash all over. They will park on the beach road blasting music that sounds like crap and eat home made meals and drink rum from liquor stores but then drag the entire family into nice restaurant where tourists are dining and yell "donde ta el bano". Semana Santa is a horrible week to come to DR to monger. If you had non pro amiga without kids or commitments inviting to a resort would be ok, but sosua will be ghost town and thankfully la capital will also be quiet as many families head to el camp to spend semana santa with family. I get a week of relative peace and quiet.

I did Semana Santa in Las Terrenas about ten years with a novia and another couple. Big mistake. Ft. Lauderdale and Cancun together on steroids. A learning lesson. Never again.

I hear everything your saying, but it's there country there culture you do not like how loud the music is go ask them to turn it down, but we know your not going to do that as a gringo. You have other options you do not like it do not go or pay it no mind. Your logic is flawed as when dominicans are in other countries do they change their behavior to respect the "culture" nope. A dominican buddy who lives in spain posted a video of "racist" cops throwing a dentist on the ground to cuff him. He forgot to mention the "dentist" had a speaker holding his door open, blasting bachata OUT of his office into the medical plaza his office was in. Other tennants called cops complaining and he refused to comply and resisted arrest. Many Dominicans are just loud and don't give a crap about who they are bothering. Why don't you see loud music in paintini or naco? People that live there know that the rest of the world is not like dominican barrios.

Yeah, SD is always open season. Its very easy to write your own fantasy.

My boy meets girls on the bus from the surrounding towns and brings them in for day dates. Taking a break from their boring towns and coming to LA Capital is special. And they bring friends who are looking for fun. Most don't even know pricing structure, they just hope you will give them something and be nice.

Others can just hang out in Santo Domingo and meet girls easily. If you pay attention you can sum up everything in a couple wassap conversations. Is she working? Who does she live with and how many kids? Is she a good girl maybe worth the waiting?

I usually say I want to have a couple beers at the colmado and then go to the Cabana. Her response will tell you everything. Most times she will now come clean with her game and say her price because you are not Dominican. Some will pause and decline so maybe a drink and dinner in the future is a possibility. Others won't want a beer at the colmado but dinner with an aunt or guardian. These girls take time and even though they appear respectful, don't be surprised if the girl has banged the whole bario and now wants to play an angel.

Visited santo domingo in December last year. Was there for a week and it was amazing Actions everywhere if you are up for it. Only thing that I didn't like too much is the oversupply of Venezuelan. However, if you don't mind, nothing to complaint there. My personal view is try to get Dominican cupid and prepare yourself few weeks before the trip. Vet down all the girls you meet in there and meet up with them when you get to Santo Domingo. It will be very rewarding. I'm sure most members here can testify to that. When you visit spa and fuck shops, don't forget to get the girls no so that you can nego a better deal outside their working hours. I did that and got better deals for a whole night. Other info are all here, you just have to read the thread. My next trip would be to Blackbeards in the next few months. Can't wait to explore this beautiful country again. Have fun hunting!

LOL. You describe it perfectly. Me and old girl went out early and I was like this place is paradise. We were enjoying the sounds of nature. The crashes of the ocean; the birds chirping. Then all of sudden about 10 am, a loud ass guitar being blasted over the biggest portable speaker someone could find. That great ambiance was short lived. I don't know what is worse, the trash pollution or the noise pollution. If 1 person wants to party, they force everyone within a 100 yard radius to be a part of it.

Yep and if you complain they will tell you "si no te gusta, vete a tu pais". Yet the dominicans in US are just as loud and don't respect others. At any airport if there is a guy listening to music or watching movie without headphones? Dominican. If you tell him we don't do that in the states, they don't care. So whether in their country or ours, we need to put up with their lack of respect.

In 20 years, I have never had a dominican modify their path or speed of walking to avoid running into someone. Come out of bathroom and the hallway is narrow? You already in the hallway and dominican sees you? Will never stop and wait for you to get out. Will walk in and bump ya. Last week, I said no mas. People spend time with there families during that period. Sosua beach will be packed with regular chicks during the day. Can you do well in a regular environment? Now we know the mayor has moved things. This is where listening to advice on hear and making travel plans can kill you. Do you honestly think during holy week sosua will have an open air brothel taking place at night. Sosua has been historically dead at night during holy week sosua will not be a good option for you. As mentioned, the one place that is packed and clubs open all night with some mongering, but also regular chicks is Las Terrazas. This is the one time you need to be careful in listening to advice on here with someone who only can pay for a chick.
