I was at the Jaragua last Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights. I went by the casino and bar a number of times, at all hours. During the daytime I saw few if any hookers. On Saturday night there were maybe ten or fifteen, but only one that I'd do, and then only if I had a good buzz. However, those three days are the sum total of my experience at the Jaragua. I'd take GoGo's word over mine if I were you.

It's probably not a good idea to drag a slutty looking hooker with tits falling out of her top back to your room. I did that and reception and the bellmen did not appear to be pleased.

Finally, yes, you can get to places like Foxy's on foot. But if you sweat like a pig, like I do, you'll want to take an Uber or taxi.

Question for the Santo Domingo pros, do you run across Venezuelan and Colombian hookers at the Jaragua? I didn't notice any, just based on their looks and accents. That seemed curious to me. Pre-Covid, Colombian freelancers and some Venezuelans could be found at premier hooker bars all over the world. I've run across them at the old Habano's and Veneto and the Ocean Sun Casino in Panama, old Del Rey and Cocal in Costa Rica, Escape in Hong Kong, Brix in Singapore, Spassos and Mixx in Bangkok. The Jaragua would seem like a logical place for them to go in Santo Domingo. But apparently from what I'm reading here, they're mostly at incalls and on internet sites.

Jaragua is a great choice and one of my favorite spots. Thursday to Sunday is a live band on a rotating stage. The wings and drinks are priced fairly. It's some beautiful working girls hanging out in the bar, but they will want 100 usd - 200 usd. The pool area is a great chill spot with some nice eye candy and working girls. Jaragua is walking distance to some nice spots. It's on the malecon so it's plenty of night time activities. El Conde is an easy 20 minute walk but don't do it at night until you develop a comfort zone.
Thanks for the tips Mr Gogo! I know you are a legend here.

Yea, I agree about traveling and learning the culture. That is the plan. My previous career I lived in Europe and S Korea, so getting out and talking to people is fun. My plan for Jaragus is days I want to rest or bad weather days. I think I can find enough to do there.

The fun began last night on Dominican Cupid. 2 -3 messages and move it to whatsapp.

Discussion begins, I am only looking for friends with benefits.

Girls reply "send me $25 dollars today" LOL.

My first thoughts, she has lost her mind asking for money like that. Second thought, tell me in pesos if we are having this conversation for later plans.

I can't thank everyone enough for the last 30 pages. Great info there, hopefully I make it work for me.

Why did you pay her beforehand?

For those flying out of Atlanta, is Spirit reliable? Or should I spend the money on Delta. Seems like flying 4 hours in a tin can is about the same, but looking for advice.

How hard is it to get a SIM for my phone? I am not to tech savvy, when the new SIM is in, will I still have my whatsapp contacts?

I will be staying for 2 weeks. Yes, I know I asked about the cheap flight but to me, one tin can is as good as another if it is reliable. I am choosing to stay at the Jaragua Hotel for rookie reasons plus there are some good reviews here.

My trip is to go sight seeing and do some mongering. So the sight seeing leads me to Santo Domingo. I don't speak Spanish, but I took notes of the casas and started working on Tinder some.

I tried to add all my info, after reading 20 pages, it is often said we need more info. If I left anything out, let me know and I will add it.

50 ish / white / no spanish / first trip to RD / sight seeing and mongering / 2 weeks there.

If you have T- Mobile it will work here. There are a few casas nearby also. I live in that area so hit me when you are confirmed and I will give you a few secrets spots.

Two weeks is a long time in one place, so I would suggest a few road trips to nearby spots. Boca chica, San cristobal, and San Pedro are all within an hour. We have packs, malls and a subway. Don't just make it about pussy, get out no learn the culture and city.

You haven't traveled much so let's go over some basic rules: Don't let strangers feel you, up, maintain a comfort zone. Everyone on El Conde will try to hustle you so have on your game face and say NO. Brush up on basic Spanish before your trip. Go online and have fun but don't trust any of them. Be unpredictable, nobody need to chat you up about your personal info. I would even suggest you use a fake name, last thing you need is a stalking chica.

Knowing all your info. With the expats keep your mouth shut and just listen. Some good info comes that way. There have been a few phone snatched here lately so only use your phone in safe spots. Download the INDRIVER app and WASSAp.

Overall, you will move it here just take it slow, you have two weeks. I would take a day or two to learn the land.

Mongering is always risky. I had a similar experience in the same Discovery hotel but with a Dominican Cupid girl, not from el Conde. The first time all was perfect. The second day arranged toda la noche with her. I never arrange full night before I met her at least once. But one time is not always enough to know her.

Gave her 6000 peso in the hotel. After first round she made a call and said she must go because her mother is in hospital. I said if she goes now she must give me 4000 peso back. She said no. I took 4000 peso back. She tried to resist. The male power prevailed and so the justice.

Then she said she is 16 yo minor. I ignored this for good. After she left she sent me whatsapp implying I drugged her. Ignored again and again for good.

I have no idea what was her age, 800 peso for the chico in the reception was good enough to substitute for the cedula. I do not care for her birthdate, all I care is that she looks mature.

P.S. The Discovery hotel is my favorite in Santo Domingo, stayed there 5 times. Poorly maintained, but cheap, has air condition, perfect location in Zona Colonial next to el Conde and some rooms have balkonies with view on standing chicas, though not so many of them and of street quality. But once I literally hooked up from the balkony. 2 chicas saw me smoking on the balkony and came under. I signed them to wait, went down and then back to the room with one of them.

How much is your freedom worth

If by some chance the girls were under age (which I doubt) the consequences could be terrible. I am not spending any time in jail not to mention a Dominican jail. These girls were cut throut and things could go south with violence. I say take the hit and live to fight another day.

You were obviously a novice in this funventure. But guess what, the experience you gained will serve you in good stead for future encounters. The price you paid for the experience was cheap. You probably should not be called a novice now and your future funventures should be better.

Naw that was a Good Day! He got his "high quality" nut!!

You know I've come to the conclusion that some dudes just aren't built for the DR or dealing with women period. Its like dudes get around new young pussy and just lose their mouthfucking mind. And that's ok, if your not built for this country but its WAY to much information out here today for any man to come down here and get rob twice in this unsettling manor. Hell in the past week I've been listening to dudes on youtube buying property in dr and NOT put the title in their name but instead put it in his girls name to only get rob and kick out of his place later and now this story.

So yeah I'm seriously tired of seeing grown ass men constantly putting their hands on the stove with the fire burning when they know better. I'm at the point now where I just let folks continue to do dumbshit to their lives while I give them the thumbs up. So yeah forget about ALL the sound advice the OGs gave you below. Continue to let random females come up on you and twerk on you as they steal your money. Don't worry about your cash just keep staring at that ass 👍.

Ooh and go find another random 3 some on the street. Naw don't worry about it if they look young. NO need to check ID just go and have your fun. Fuck it you got money to burn if shit goes south. At the end of the day you yourself has said the 3 some skeet, was a "high quality" treat and wouldve been a possible repeat, if they didn't do a dominican shakedown on your ass.

But hey you got what you truly desire which was a good nut right. Still cheaper then the states or wherever you're from👍.

He did not pay $100. He paid $183 plus the at least 2000 pesos (never said if it was each or together or how much he took from the ATM that ended up stolen) that was stolen from him. At what amount would you not give in to extortion? If they told him 20,000 pesos should he still pay it? If they told him 50,000 pesos would it still be a good move on his part? Where do you draw the line?

    Wow bad day in SD

You were on roll my man. What happen to you was a nightmare. Much of it was your own fault. Do not feel too bad you lost a few hundred but it is only money. Lots of these girls carry blades and will use them when threaten. Doing a 3 some with girls you do not know in the DR is risky. The girls are inbolden when teamed up. The under age ploy was a winner. I hate preaching at you but you broke a lot of rules. The girls had to show their cedullas when you checked in the hotel. Never the less paying 100 dollars to get out dodge is a good move on your part. Being threaten by is very uncomfortable I doubt they would have called the police but fighting with 2 hookers is losing proposition. El Conde attracts scammers. Lone hookers are usually a safe bet but the quality on El Conde is below my standards. Thanks for the report it was a good read.

One mulata with a shower cap type hat and shorts was kind of grabby as I walked by toward the bank, but I shrugged her off. I withdrew about 110 USD at the ATM. When I walked back, she placed herself in my way, and rubbed herself all over me, including twerking in my crotch. I shrugged her off again and kept walking. When I was back on Calle Conde walking toward my hotel, I came across two cuties who offered to both go to a hotel with me for 2,000 pesos. I said sure, and we took a taxi to a short-term motel. When I went to pay the taxi, I realized that the first streetwalker had pickpocketed all my cash when she rubbed up against me. So I asked the taxi to drive us all to an ATM, I withdrew another bunch of cash, and went back to the hotel. After a great time --truly high quality I have to say-- with the two that had picked me up, while still in the hotel, they suddenly both turned nasty. First, while I was showering they stole all my money out of my pants, and then when I confronted them they said that they were both underage and were going to call the police to turn me in unless I went to an ATM --again-- and withdrew another 10,000 pesos (183 usd) to pay them off. They really came on in a very aggressive, nasty and confrontational manner, such that I got intimidated and actually gave in the their request and did so. I finally got back to my hotel alive, and miraculously they didn't steal my debit card or do anything worse. I consider myself lucky, considering everything bad and worse that could have happened. In conclusion, stay away from streetwalkers here, they are bad news. In my experience, perhaps the worst of any country.

LOL. Stay away from streetwalkers because you do not know how to handle them?

I have never had a problem with streetwalkers in Santo Domingo. Your first mistake was taking 2. I take it you have not read this forum at all. If you had then you would have known the risks of taking 2. And you went to a cabana with them only to leave your things unattended? May as well have saved that money and taken them to your hotel if you were going to let them rob you anyway.

Did they look underage? I have never seen a SW out there that looks underage. Many guys have posted to always check the ID. I never do that because I do not go for chicks that look underage. You could have saved yourself 10,000+ pesos by reading the forum and taking heed.

What happened last time you went? Of all the reports I have read on the place I have never seen someone say there were extra services available there.

Glad you are okay. I was on El Conde till late last night so we probably walked past each other.

That corner has always been for thieves. Usually they have been kicked off Conde so the heavy police presence keeps them on the dark out skirts. You are the third guy in 6 months who got robbed on that corner. The last incident was when 3 girls approached a dude and snatched his gold necklace and ran away. Also that corner is known for, the occasional transformer.

Never let a stranger touch you. They have to respect your comfort zone. They actually let you off light thankfully. I've heard of them hitting their head on the wall and start yelling. Then mysteriously a cop pops up at the door and the girls say he hit her and she is very young. They then ask for 1000 usd for it to end there or they will have to take him to the station and it will cost 5 k. Usually they gladly pay the 1 k.

Also two girls for 2 k should have raised your suspicion. Any other girl in that area will charge a newbie 5 k and maybe lower it to 3 k.

Be careful drinking in that area late night because it's so many traps to fall into. Also try not to make your ATM runs late at night. Glad you are okay. Good luck.
