This is another curious assertion as when casas are raided they always list mistreatment of the girls or drugs and the main violations of the operation. Why wouldn't the Dominican officials simply list they were running a illegal operation involving prostitution and be done with it. I'm not asking you to get in the mind of the Dominican officials, but given your extensive experience in the county that you have bragged about before I'd like to know if you have some facts to back up your assertion or is it just your opinion?
The news also sometimes claims "[CodeWord908]" which is rarely the case. If a casa lets chicas from out of town live onsite, if the fiscalia is getting pressure to clean up a town or area they will make a big splash by closing down a place with "sex slaves". Total BS but if you believe DR press rather than actual law, good for you.

Also a bar and a casa are not necessarily the same. Bars that charge salidas, bars that have freelancers and bars with onsite rooms are all different things. One is legal, two are not. Enforcement is spotty as with all other laws in DR. I have seen legal places closed because neigbors, a politician or big wig complained or a fiscalia got an insect up his anus. I have seen illegal places avoid sweeps because they greased the right palms. One sweep in gazcue resulted in no more on site rooms. The salida is harder to enforce as the chicas can be "waitresses" and the salida is a "fine" for leaving work early, but a fiscalia that has an agenda will see it differently.

Years ago in Boca they closed all the bars on duarte that were not breaking any laws because they wanted to clean up the main drag. They left all the casas open even if illegal as they were off main drag and likely greased palms. Bars on pedro clisante that had freelancers were closed while passions was left alone. Then Passions, the same place with same owner was closed and owner arrested. Why? They felt like it.

I write this to hopefully avoid a lot of back and forth. In the Dominican Republic prostitution is legal but promoting prostitution or running a a prostitution venue is illegal. Most of the oldest long established venues are owned by military and other highly influential people against whom prostitution and other laws are not enforced. Waleska of Pink House fame is neither military nor especially influential. Like others before her, it's likely once she ran short on cash to grease palms she got pushed out of business by the authorities at the urging of competitors. There is an old Dominican saying: "en este país no hay ley" (roughly, laws don't matter in this country).

Let's please move on from re-hashing what no longer matters. A lot of new girls are hanging around the park in front of the cathedral in Plaza Colon after 10 PM.

That is the address for mansion night club. Maybe it is registered as solo night club in google maps. I am not sure about the name for the club next to hotel Napolitano. I am calling the girls to my apartment for the weekend. So I will make a pass to the club sometime during the week to find the name. I would really appreciate if someone can pay for my subscription so I can pay them cash. Maybe we can meet at some place and I give the cash first and then they can use the card. All my credit cards are not working for this website.

Yeah I have several friends who have been there and have schooled me a bit. I have also traveled to other Spanish speaking countries and been to Santiago before as well. Also when I go to the North coast I try not to stay stuck in Sosua and enjoy moving around a bit especially through Puerto Plata. I can't say I am totally fluent in Spanish but I am fairly conversational as far as being able to get my point across without having to pull out the translator every 30 seconds. As far as transportation goes I have been hearing a lot of good things about Uber in Santo Domingo. So most likely that will be my thing. I also know a few people that live in Santo Domingo. A few regulars that occasionally do Sosua, a couple good girls as well who I have actually met here in the states, they do a work exchange program and come to my hometown 3 months every year to work, and a good guy who has an apartment there who travels back and forth between USA And DR. So most likely for my first trip I will probably try to time it with one or two of the the guys I know as a small group and also reach out to some of the other people I know who live there.

I thought it was my imagination the other night. I drove past those places and they were black dark and there was nobody flagging me to come over to them as there usually was.
