Can you please post the address or contact info. Also, there is no compiled Santo Domingo list. Can you add a few open quality venues in the capital? Whenever I ask this, the only thing I hear is clubs which are closed and the stories about glorious past, or bitching that Santo Domingo is so vast and there are so many small places around without particular names and addresses, that the only way to know them is to take a taxi driver and explore, and I don't buy this concept. I know that for 75 euro I won't get it in Europe, for instance; so, I would appreciate a short post.

That's what I should have done. Lesson learned. Last time I was on Conde Calle I took a real busty one to the back of her barber shop and the owner came up to me afterward and demanded I pay him an extra 1000 P to use the room. In SD:

I stayed at the Barcelo SD, and it had some minor maintenance issues but they upgraded me to the 9th floor executive room with addl benefits. The Piano Bar they have in the lobby area is quite nice.

Hit Zona Colonial a couple of nights with one of my chicas who came in Santiago for 5 nights. Not impressed with the area. Saw some streetwalker type girls hanging around. Also, older women clearly looking for a customer at ONNO's bar and restaurant, if that's your thing.

Uber works great in SD and I highly recommend. Checked out Blue Mall and Sambil Mall a few times for restaurant selections. Sambil in particular walking dsitance from Barcelo or 70 pesos with Uber.

Sambil has a number of banks and at one money exchange place. Banks were same rate for USD of 47.40 in both SD airport and Banks. Small exchange booth USD was 47.80 . Very good rates IMO given WSJ rate of 48.04. Also, many places to get a RD SIM card if you want.

Had second chica, who I also knew from before, come in from Puerto Plata for 4 days. And another I met up with in Punta Caa who was working now at a different resort. Never talked money with any of them ahead of time and paid all of them 2500 per day..

Apparently no one goes to casa Teresa anymore. I always check it out when I'm in the DR. I've had some pretty good sessions there. Don't mind paying a little more for the better facilities but hate those grown men in the place always asking for tips.

My advice is also simple if you must have that massage girl. Tell her yes I want to massage but when you're not at work. Get her number give her a call and cut out the middleman. I do this with all the massage girls that peep my interest. It never fells, more money for her a better experience for me.

On my last trip I knocked off one of the massage girls in Boca Chica. She was working and quoted me 1000 for a massage and 2000 for anything else. I called her after work and got a damn decent massage and a damn good session for 1500 pesos. I did give her a 500 peso tip. I also added her on to the Rotation.

No. I am pretty sure the issue is that they have to pay the barber a set percentage of their earnings, say 50%, and so they do not want him to know that they are providing paid extras. That is usually the way it works in these places. This is one of the reasons why I don't like getting involved in anything that has a middleman or agent involved. At least if it is a private arrangement, you can persuade yourself that your donation is philanthropy or a mutual exchange, but much harder to do so if it is a business transaction. Not really so amusing after all.

My advice is even simpler. Go to GBP and get BBBJ and FS for 1200 for 1 hour without worrying about being ripped off. Hell I even forgot my 800 pesos change one time and went back up there to get it later that evening with no problem. And those hookers will throw in a massage for free!

I agree with OldKool. It is possible to get a good "massage" on the Conde and about half the girls are nice looking. Actually, I almost always make a point of getting a good BBBJ in the barber shop by the Tourist Police station on the Conde every time I go to the DR (they charge 1500 pesos for CBJ and try and get 2000-3000 for BBBJ; by DR standards, this is expensive). The shops open at 10 am, and there is not much else available at that hour. The girls act as if they are very reluctant to do anything but their reticence is an act. Occasionally, I have trouble finishing, and for an extra 1000 pesos, they provide full service. They act as if the barber doesn't know what they are doing behind closed doors. It is amusing.

I only go to the Conde barber shop girls in the morning (at between 10 and 11 am). I think that GBP is closed in the mornings. Also, I always stay at the El Palacio Hotel (Duarte con Conde), and it is only a few minutes walk from the Palacio to the barber shop girls. El Palacio- by the way- is a great hotel and very girl friendly. I have brought in three girls for the night and they barely blink at the front desk (no guest charge but girls without cedulas will never get admitted).

It is a bit overpriced to get a BBBJ or sex on the Conde, but it is incredibly convenient.
